Sprakling Dasher

It's Day 5! But before we get to the project today I want to remind you to watch the Today Show today in the 4th hour. Shelli Garnder, SU CEO and Co-founder will be on donating over $150,000 in SU products to their annual toy drive!! Don't you just love SU!!!

So onto todays project!
I think this Christmas I have made more sparkly projects then ever before!! This one is especially nice, especially in real life!

I went with complete non traditional Christmas colors for this one. I think it's fun to stray from the 'normal' colors and make something different. I stamped Dasher in heat and stick powder then used some of SU Fine Cosmo glitter. Make sure you use your embossing buddy before you stamp anything on this card, the glitter will go everywhere if you don't. Isn't it just great!!! I stamped the background with the brocade stamp from the Friends 24/7 set. You could also take this card another step and jazz it up with some ribbon or spray it with shimmer paint to give it extra sparkle! This card would also look beautiful with traditional Christmas colors. Red and gold would be really pretty!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Dasher, Sparkly and Bright, Friends 24/7
Cardstock: White, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Soft Suede
Ink: Versamark, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum
Accessories: Heat and Stick power, Fine Cosmo Glitter, dimensionals, jumbo brads, heat tool

Thanks for looking, see you tomorrow for day 6!!!
