SNEAK PEEK Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack

Today I'm sharing a cute card that I made in Houston at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage Event.  We got to use the new card bases and some of the ephemera packs coming in the new catalog.  The ephemera packs and card bases are going to be amazing tools to make quick cards.  They're also going to be a great gift for someone wanting to dip their toes into the card making world.  My flowers are from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack, aren't they gorgeous!?

Ice Cream Swirl Cone

I'm excited to share this fun Ice Cream Swirl card with you.  It's got lots of sparkle and shine and so much more!  I kept my ice cream simple, just a vanilla and chocolate swirl, but think of the amazing combinations you could make!  I stamped and colored my cherry with Stampin' Blends.  I love that sweet little pop of color on the cone.

I added lots of sparkle to this card with the Holographic Paper, some Soft Shimmer Paper, Sequins and gold twine from the Simply Elegant Trim.  So much fun sparkle!  My DSP is from the Just Kiddin' package in the Mini Catalog.  The basic patterns on the back of the kid sides are my favorite!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Leaf Collection Sneak Peek

I have an amazing Sneak Peek to share today!  This is the new Leaf Collection Background Stamp.  We were given this set as an all attendee giveaway at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage demonstrator event.  I love a good background set and this one is sooo good!  It can stand alone on a card like mine, or use it as a background on any card.  I'm also featuring some new DSP, this is the Lily Pond Lake DSP.  I LOVE it!  So cute!  This was a prize patrol, I actually traded my prize patrol with a friend for this one.  We each loved each others more so I was happy to trade!

stampin up, leaf collection

I added some splatters with my Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends and there's some gold splatter on there too.  I used the Gilded Leafing, this is retiring so get it now!  To make the leafing stick I used some Multipurpose glue, watered down a little.  I used an old paint brush and splattered the glue onto my background.  Let it dry, it will try tacky.  After it's dry you can add your leafing to the tacky glue.  I love the organic look it has with the splatters some are bigger, some are smaller.  Heads up that gorgeous Simply Elegant Trim and Festive Pearls will be retiring too, snag those in my Online Store before they're gone.

If you want to see more new products coming join my team today!  Demonstrators can see the entire new catalog and we'll be able to preorder in April.  It's a great time to join!

Encircled In Nature

I am loving the selection of products released in this months Online Exclusives.  This amazing bundle is one of them.  The Encircled In Nature Bundle is gorgeous and has lots of elements that make it easy to make a stunning card. I used the dies to create a window in my card and I stamped the greeting in the window.  Outside of the window, I have this stunning wreath made from other pieces of the bundle.

stampin up, encircled in nature

I used Stampin' Blends to color my flowers, colors are listed below in the supply list.  For the center of the flowers I used a combination of Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie to get that yellowy-orange.  So pretty!  I finished the card with some Glossy Dots and Linen Thread.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Incredible Twist Fun Fold

I have another fun fold twist card to share.  I really love this fun fold.  It's easy to make and it packs a huge wow factor!  I'm using some new Online Exclusive products for this card.  Currently, as I type this, the Happy Little Things Bundle that I used isn't available.  The dies are currently out of stock.  But they should be back in stock by the end of the month.  So check back in my Online Store the week of March 25.

stampin up, happy little things

This fun card starts in a horizontal orientation but as you open it, it twists to a portrait orientation.  I made a version of this card in 2022, you can check it out here.

stampin up, happy little things

I used the stamp set on the outside as well as the inside.  I love the greetings in the Happy Little Things Bundle.  I love especially that they include block and script greetings and how well they all coordinate with each other.  I heat embossed part of my outside greeting in white embossing powder.  Currently Stampin' Up! is switching suppliers for the embossing powder so we have a gap of time where we don't carry white embossing powder.  Watch for it to come back later this year.

stampin up, happy little things

The card base has a diagonal line in the front and you adhere your panel to that folded piece.  My front panel is a 4 1/4" square.  I'm also using some new DSP in the Online Exclusives, the Flowering Zinnias DSP is GORGEOUS!!  I have two pieces of that one at 4" x 4" and one at 4" x 1".

Use this diagram for scoring your card base.  I hope you make this card soon!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Easter Bunny Friend Small DSP Pinched Top Bag-VIDEO

I have one last Easter treat to share with you this season, though this box doesn't have to be for Easter, the greeting is pretty general for a friend.  I hope that if you don't already have the Easter Bunny Set this is one that you'll consider.  This sweet DSP bag is soooo cute and soooo simple!  I have a chocolate bunny in my bag from See's Chocolates.  Now, I know that this isn't a store that is in everyone's area and I know that they're kind of pricy...but they're sooooooooo good!  If you don't want to use a See's bunny you can find a similar sized chocolate bunny in your store that would fit.  My chocolate bunny measures about 1 3/4" wide, 4" tall and 5/8" thick.  I'm sure that local stores would carry similar sized ones.  Or you can fit lots of other goodies in here!

stampin up, easter bunny

My bag base is made with DSP, I'm using the Lighter Than Air pack from the Mini.  The subtle color patterns in this package are very spring and Easter themed.  The top is simply pinched closed and held closed with some ribbon.  You could also use a fun clip or clothespin to keep it closed.

stampin up, easter bunny

If you have lots of DSP around, especially 6" x 6" DSP this is a great way to use it.  I love using DSP for bags and boxes.  Be careful when scoring it however. DSP is thinner than cardstock and may tear easier if you have a heavy hand when scoring.

Make your own:

Lighter Than Air DSP 5 1/2" x 6"
On the short side score at 1/2", 2 1/4", 3" and 4 3/4"
On the long side score at 3/4", 4 3/4" and 5 3/8"
