Striped Hugs

I have another gorgeous card to share today using the Sending Hugs Bundle.  I shared another card with this bundle last week.  You can check out that card here.  This is one of my favorite bundles in the catalog.  I love the big line art image and the die cut letters are amazing!!  I didn't use the overlay die cut on this card but you can check that out on my other card.  For this card I kept it simple and brought in color only with the cardstock strips.

I used all the new In Colors for this card.  This is a great card for scraps. I pulled out what I had and cut different widths.  I used another scrap piece of Basic White to adhere them together.  I used my Stamparatus to stamp the image not only on the Basic White piece but the scraps too.  That means that I can get exact placement of the stamped image.  I love that the strips of cardstock are the only colors on this card. I finished the card with the die cut letters adhered over everything and some sparkling Rhinestones!  LOVE!!  I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Love You To The Moon Round Box-VIDEO

I have the cutest box to share with you today!  If you love fun and unique boxes this is the one for you!  This round box is sure to make anyone who receives it jump over the moon with excitement!   I'm using the new To The Moon Set for this project today.  I loved this set when I saw it in the catalog.  It's so unique and fun!  The images and greetings are pretty stellar too!  I'll stop with the space puns now LOL.

Stampin up, to the moon

I found some Mini Moon Pies at my local neighborhood Walgreens last week and wanted to make an adorable box for them.  But the moon pie is round, the moon is round I needed a round box.  I had made a round box years and years and years ago.  So after searching my brain for how I did that I pulled this one off!  I couldn't love it more!

stampin up, to the moon

The images in this set are Disinktive Stamps that means you get amazing light and dark textures and shading from just one amazing stamp and one ink pad!  I love the moon for sure!  I want to use it on so many projects!  The box is finished with some Shimmer Gray Granite Ribbon and Blue Gems, just enough sparkle to make someone smile!

stampin up, to the moon

The mini Moon Pies fit perfectly!  It's important to remember these are the mini sized ones, this box will not work for the larger full sized Moon Pies.  You could work with the measurements to create a larger one.  If you're not into Moon Pies this box is perfect for any fun treat!

stampin up, to the moon

The key to this round box are the teeth. To make the box, you'll need two of the largest circles from the Layering Circles Dies and two pieces of cardstock 1 1/2" x 11" score short side at 1" . On the 1/2" tab you'll cut lots of 'teeth' into the box. Then add strong glue to them and adhere to one of the circles. Check out my video for details. Do the same to the other circle and strip of cardstock. I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to never miss a video.

After my stamped image was colored I die cut the detailed layer from Basic White and used my blends to add a little color to the flowers and leaves.  Also included in the dies are the letters to die cut 'HUGS'.  I used some of our new Metallic Specialty Paper I love that pop of metallic!  I finished the card with some Champagne Rhinestones.  I have a full supply list below.  You can get all these products now in my Online Store.

In Symmetry No Cut No Glue Cupcake Box-VIDEO

Today's box is super cute and there's no cutting or gluing anything.  Just fold and go!  We could all use these kind of boxes in our stamping utility belts.  You could adapt this box to fit nearly anything!  I hope you're not tired of seeing the In Symmetry Set cause I had to pull it out again for this box.  Along with the In Symmetry Set there is gorgeous coordinating DSP, Sweet Symmetry.  This is one of my favorite packs in the catalog!

stampin up, in symmetry bundle, sweet symmetry

This box is so fun, I love how the sides fold in and you have this fun angled box. I stamped my greeting and die cut it with the Layering Circles Dies.  I also die cut a scalloped circle from the same dies.  It's all layered up on a Label Me Lovely Punch.  I used the flowers from the set to frame up my greeting on the DSP.

stampin up, in symmetry bundle, sweet symmetry

I used some Mint Macaron to punch the leaves from the In Symmetry Bundle.  I first had some Just Jade leaves punched but they blended into the background too much, I like the lighter pop of Mint Macaron.  The box is finished with Gilded Gems.  This pop of gold really completes the card.

stampin up, in symmetry bundle, sweet symmetry

To open the box just lift the top and your treat is revealed.  It's easy to fold back up, the cardstock remembers the folds and where it goes.  Using a bone folder will really help you get sharp creases.  Inside my box is an Entenmanns Cupcake.  I found these at my local Walmart over the weekend.

stampin up, in symmetry bundle, sweet symmetry

I have a diagram with measurements if you want to recreate this box.  I don't usually do diagrams but since there's a few diagonal lines in this box I think it's easier to see in a picture.  Make sure you check out my video, my replay of my Facebook Live yesterday, for all the details on this box.  I have full supply list below.  You can shop for all of these products in my Online Store.

Cupcakes Two Ways

Hello! I have two super cute cards featuring cupcakes today!  I'm using the Measure Of Love Set (again!) I can't get enough of this set.  You can check out this sweet card I shared last week.  Today I have two more examples.  The first card I LOVE!  I went a little crazy and fussy cut all the cupcakes but I think it's totally worth it!  For the background I used the floral image in the set, this is actually a two step process with two stamps in the set.  They layer together and make a gorgeous pattern.

stampin up, measure of love

The cupcakes are all colored with Stampin' Blends.  I have all the colors listed below in my supply list.  After I fussy cut the cupcakes I popped them all up on Dimensionals in a row.  The greeting is from one of my favorite sets, Biggest Wish.  I finished the card with some Baker's Twine and Champagne Rhinestones.

stampin up, measure of love

If you need a quicker card you're not into the fussy cutting or coloring I have another card to share that is equally as cute.  For this card I stamped the cupcakes on a tag from the Tailored Tag Die and colored them.  The cupcakes on this card are colored with the stamps in the set.  This is an easy two step way to color your cupcakes quickly.  The rest of the card is finished with DSP from the Pattern Party DSP, Flirty Flamingo and Rhinestones.

Birthday Bash

Hello and Happy Monday!!!  Over the weekend I was so fortunate to host an in person class.  I've really missed these classes and love getting together with my crafty friends!  Every month I'm able to host one I'm sooooo grateful!  The theme for the class was Birthday Bash.  My guests got to make 5 different birthday card with a huge variety of products.  I love all the cards.  I don't have a supply list for these cards, but you can shop for products in my Online Store, linked below.

The first card is so soft and elegant, I just love it.  I used the Beautiful Wings Dies for the butterflies and paired them with the Hand Penned DSP.  The greeting is from the Sweet Ice Cream Set.  The colors are gorgeous and it's just a stunner in person!

stampin' up, butterfly brilliance

The second card is so pretty and so quick to come together. If you need a stack of cards this is a great option!  We used the Expressions In Ink DSP and the new Create With Friends Set.  Both are winners in my book.  What a fun card!  You could easily adapt this card for with any DSP you have.

I love the pop of colors on the third card.  The Basic Black and Fresh Freesia go so well together and then there's pops of Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo!  So pretty!  We used the All Squared Away Bundle and I can't wait to use this bundle more!

stampin up, all squared away

I know I say this about all of them but this card is my favorite!  The Artistically Inked bundle is soooooo gorgeous!  I love this color combo too! Flirty Flamingo, Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green!  YES!!!  That pop of gold from the Metallic Paper and Simply Elegant Trim are spot on!

Finally I have another beautiful card to share with the In Symmetry Set.  I shared cards last week with this set you can see them here and here.  I just love this one!  It's so fun!!  The Sweet Symmetry DSP is so gorgeous too and adds the perfect pop of Night of Navy!

Measure Of Love

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this card!  The colors-LOVE! The Stampin' Blends-LOVE! Fussy Cutting-LOVE! I love it all!  I used the new set Measure Of Love.  This set was one of the first items on my wish list.  I love it!  When I finally got a chance to make a card with it I knew exactly what I wanted to do!  The bowl of cherries is fussy cut and the scale is fussy cut.  But if you wanted to skip the fussy cutting you could stamp the images directly onto the scalloped rectangle.

stampin up, measure of love, stampin blends

For the bowl I colored it in Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  I left the edges darker and the center lighter.  As a curved object the front would be lighter and as it curves around it would get darker.  After I colored it the hearts were stamped in Bumblebee Ink.  The cherries and stems were stamped in Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green.  For my scale, I colored it with Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue, again using the same theory that the center would be lighter than the edges.  Since the top of the scale extends past the bottom it would cast a shadow on the sides and not the center.  In my head that makes sense and it looks so cute so I'm going with it!!!  To finish the card I used some twine from the Playful Pets Pack and I added some texture with the Checks and Dots Embossing Folder on my Poppy Parade piece.  I LOVE it all!!!  I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

In Symmetry Five Ways

I have more projects to share that feature the In Symmetry Set.  Yesterday I shared this card that is similar to these fun cards.  I skipped the window and these and added some extra stamping and a fun zigzag border with our new Basic Borders Dies. I used the Sweet Symmetry DSP on all of them and pulled all my colors for the cards from the DSP.

stampin' up, in symmetry, sweet symmerty, basic borders dies

For the first two cards, I paired Calypso Coral and Just Jade.  The second card uses Night of Navy and Bumblebee.  I used a variety of ribbons for these cards.  I'll have all the supplies listed below.  The second set of cards pairs Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade, then again Bumblebee and Night of Navy but the reverse of those colors.

stampin' up, in symmetry, sweet symmerty, basic borders dies

All of these cards are so much fun and I was able to make a stack of them in no time.  For my final card I used Flirty Flamingo and Night of Navy.  I also used my Tailor Made Tag Dies for the greetings.  I love these fun simply cards!  I have all the supplies listed below you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

In Symmetry Window Card

I have a really cute card to share today.  This card is fun and easy and you could easily knock out a bunch of these in a no time.  Imagine them in a variety of colors.  How fun!!!  Before we get to the details on this card, I wanted to let you know that over the next couple of month while the kids are out of school my blog posting might become a little more spotty.  I'm hoping to continue to post 3-4 days/week however with two kids off for the summer and one husband at home it gets a little crazy here.  In addition I decided to redo our kitchen cabinets-so there's that fun project I'm in the middle of.  Monday starts the kids summer schedule which consists of me planning different projects everyday.  It started a few years ago as an attempt to get the kids off their electronic devices and every summer they ask that I plan more stuff.  We do art projects, science projects, cooking and more.  It's exhausting but I hope the kids find value in it.  But all this leaves my work day short on time.  Keep checking my blog, I am hoping to keep a consistent schedule but if not please forgive me.  Now today's gorgeous card!

stampin' up, in symmetry

I started by die cutting a circle into my card base and DSP.  I used the Sweet Symmetry DSP to coordinate with the stamp set.  I also die cut a circle of the same size in Basic White.  I stamped the flower on the basic white.  I love this flower, I stamped the flower side by side to create a full circular flower.  To create my window I added the window sheet between my card and DSP.  To finish the card I added a greeting on a tag with the Tailored Tag Dies.  Some ribbon, twine and sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack.   This card is so much fun.

Wild Blended Birthday

What a gorgeous card I have today!  This card is so stunning in person!  The colors are vibrant and beautiful.  I used my blending brushes to get that color blended so beautifully!  If you'd like to see how this card was made let me know. I'd love to do a video on it.  I started by masking off the ground with some post it tape.  I also cut a circle from layering circles dies from post it notes and masked off the sun as well.  Then I used my blending brushes and started adding color from the bottom up.

stampin up, wild cats, blending brushes

Starting on the bottom I used Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape.  The more color you add the better they'll blend.  I like to use my brushes in a circular motion too, I find that helps.  Once I was satisfied with the sky, I removed my sun mask and went over it a little with my Daffodil Delight brush, just so it wasn't stark white.  Then I masked off the sky and used Evening Evergreen to add color to the ground.  Once all the ink blending is done set it aside to dry.  Once dry coming in and do your stamping.  I heat embossed my greeting in white and stamped the cat in Memento Black.  The cat stamp isn't a solid stamp so I used my Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend to fill in the areas of the cat that weren't stamped and get that gorgeous silhouette image.  I added some leaves with the bush stamp from the same Wild Cats Set.  It's a gorgeous card and so stunning in person.  I hope you give it a try! I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products in my online store.
