Somebody Loves You

I have one more example (for this week anyway!) using the Parcels and Petals bundle.  This time I only used the stamp set.  I paired up Blushing Bride and Merry Merlot for a stunning color combo.  I love the greetings in this set.  There's lots of versatile greetings for lots of occasions.  This card came together so quickly. Don't you love the simplicity of it?!

You're The Best

I mentioned yesterday that the Parcels and Petals Bundle was pretty amazing.  I have an amazing card to share with you today featuring that bundle.  I used the floral stamp in the set to add lots of flowers on my card base.  PS That's a new color too! Terracotta Tile. It's it rich and gorgeous!  The greeting is also stamped in the coordinating ink.  LOVE!

That amazing gold medallion or flourish is one of the amazing dies in this bundle.  I cut it out of Gold Foil Paper.  One of the things I LOVE the most about these dies is not only does they come with the detailed flourish piece but there's also a die that will cut the mat for it, as I did in black on my card.  I love that!!!  It really makes that gold piece pop so much more off the black.  I added some metallic pearls to finish this card.  So pretty!

Perfect Parcel Box

Hello!!!  I can't believe how long I've been gone.  I don't think in all the years I've done my blog I've had a break off my blog that long.  But it was much needed.  The crazy busy schedule of May took over and I feel farther and farther and farther behind.  It was essentially like trying to dig a hole while someone else keeps filling your hole with more dirt.  I just needed a week or so to stop and catch up.  Thankfully I think I'm almost there.  Summer has started, the kids are home, our summer schedule is kicking off today and jury duty looms for the next 3 weeks.  Who know what kind of schedule I'll be able to keep up in the summer but hopefully it's more consistent then last week.

There's sooooo much going on right now though!  We're in the final week of the Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog!  If you need to place any last minute orders for any of those retiring items do it now! Today however I'm sharing another sneak peek product! Lovely As A Tree Watercolor Card

Tuesday I did a Facebook Live sharing how I made this beautiful watercolored Lovely As A Tree card.  Lovely As A Tree is such a fun and versatile stamp set and it's Stampin' Up!'s longest running stamp set.  This set was released in 2001.  Sadly it's retiring this year so this is your last chance to get it!  It's a great set good for all occasions.  Shop for Lovely As A Tree here.  Check out how I made this card below.

Dreamy Cow Shaker

I've been having soooo much fun playing with even more NEW stuff.   The new Over The Moon set features the MOST adorable cow images!  This little dreamy cow needed a shaker window behind him!  I stamped and colored the image first.   After he was colored I used my Layering Circles Dies and partially die cut a circle around him.  I only covered the top of the circle die with the top cutting plate where I wanted the circle to cut.  Once the circle was cut I had to fussy cut the top of cow out.  

This was a little time consuming but completely worth it.  When the cow was cut I added a window sheet behind him.  I used the foam strips to make a shaker area for the sequins and then added the sequins.  I added the stamped piece in the back with his cute little dream bubble.  I just love this fun shaker card!  This stamp set will all be available in the upcoming Annual Catalog.  Can't wait?  Join my team today and add these items in your starter kit!  Contact me for more details stamperrdn@q.com

Wild Rose Two Ways

I participated in a swap earlier this month.  I can't wait to get my cards from the swap!  This is the card I made for my swap.  I started with the this beautiful Purple Posy card but realized I was short on the Soft Seafoam cardstock to finish 20 of them, so I quickly changed gears and featured a different, NEW In Color.

Farewell Class

Over the weekend I held my last class featuring products from our 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These are the cards my guests made.  I love this first one.  I will miss the Petal Palette set.  This is one of my favorite floral sets and it has amazing greetings.  We used some Stampin' Blends to color the roses.  

The next card features the retiring Oh So Eclectic set.  I love this set because the images are not designed to line up perfectly so you get a beautiful watercolored looked.  I love the colors on this card too Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove are some of our carrying over retired In Colors.

One set that I love but just haven't had enough time to play with is the Sunny Days set.  I love the fun images and greetings in this set.  We used a couple of them for this fun, cheerful card.

Finally my favorite, go to birthday set.  Picture Perfect Birthday.  I love the images, greetings and font in this set!  I'm so sad to see this one go!

At my class, my guests also got to make a card using some new products!  This is a fun sneak peek of a new stamp set, and DSP coming in the new catalog.

Bubble Background

I have lots of sneak peeks on this card!  This is one of my favorite cards I've made yet.  First I used the new Floral Essence stamp set for the flowers.  Don't you love them!!!?!  They're so gorgeous!  The greeting is also from the Floral Essence set.  I fussy cut the flowers out, there's no coordinating framelits.  The leafs coordinate with our already existing Leaf Punch.  Yay!  I used a new color too.  Purple Posy is the ligher shade of purple and it's my favorite new In Color!

For the background I used something you may already have around your home.  I used some bubble wrap and inked it up with my Purple Posy ink pad and then gently pressed the cardstock onto the bubble wrap, leaving an incredible background!  This stamp set will all be available in the upcoming Annual Catalog.  Can't wait?  Join my team today and add these items in your starter kit!  Contact me for more details stamperrdn@q.com.

Free As A Bird #simplestamping

Glossy Wild Rose

I have another beautiful example using the new To A Wild Rose set.  This set is coming in the new Annual Catalog in June.  I stamped the flower and leaf on glossy cardstock.  It's not one that I pull out often enough, but I sure do LOVE it!  When you stamp on glossy cardstock you have to be careful not to shift the stamp in anyway.  I love how bold and vibrant the rose is.
