Happy Sale-a-Bration Sunday....on a Saturday night! We have to take my son to camp tomorrow so I need to do my Sale-a-Bration Sunday a few hours earlier. We actually don't take him until the afternoon but the morning will be busy making sure he has everything packed and ready to go. This week for Sale-a-Bration Sunday I'm featuring the Rings Of Love DSP. This is such a good package of DSP and I love all the patterns! We're using a bunch of them today because I couldn't choose one pattern.

I love all the earthy elements to the bundle and I'm going to share some fun ways to use this bundle. Today's project is a slimline card. We sell some fun Slimline Envelopes that this would fit perfect in. It's not just any slimline card, it's also an easel card. Easel cards are so fun because they stand so perfectly on desks, mantels, etc.
To make a slimline card start with a piece of cardstock, I'm using Crushed Curry that is 7" x 8 1/2". On the short side score at 3 1/2". That's your basic slimline card! I'm taking it a step further and also scoring on that short side at 1 3/4", that score line will create your easel.
My DSP in the background is three pieces that are each 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". I've also fussy cut the house from the DSP. They're adhered down to a piece of Basic White that is 8 1/4" x 3 1/4".
The tree rings are die cut with the Ringed Of Love Bundle. I inked up my embossing folder with Soft Suede ink before running it through my machine for a letterpress look. My mushrooms, stems, acorn top and heart are water colored on Shimmery White Cardstock. Once it's dry you can die cut them all and add them. To finish my mushrooms I added some Iridescent Pearls for a fun accent. Check out my video for all the details on this card. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there.
