I am happy to announce a new way to do classes with me!  Welcome to Card Crate!  The class that comes to your door and you can do your projects on your time from the comfort of your home.  Read on for all the details!

What you'll need:

• Stamps and ink to complete your projects, per Stampin' Up! policy all projects will come unstamped (you'll know in advance what the supplies are so you can plan ahead and place orders if you need to).  There's always room to substitute items and be creative if you don't have the exact supplies!
• Adhesive, some months may contain specialty adhesive.
• Scissors

SNEAK PEEK! Catch You Later Magic Slider Card-VIDEO

I have another sneak peek for you with the Catch You Later Set.  I shared this card a couple weeks ago also featuring this set, aren't these cute images the best!!!  Today's card is a little magical and is sure to WOW your family and friends.  This is a magic slider card, so your image is black and white on the front......

As you pull the image up it magically becomes colored!! It's sooooo cool!!!  I haven't made a card like this in a LOOOOONNNNGGG time but every time I see one I'm just in awe of how magical it is!  These fun line art images in the Catch You Later set are perfect for this technique.  I have a video below.  I suggest watching it for details.  You'll want to have your Stamparatus on hand for this technique.  You'll need to stamp on a Window Sheet with Stazon Ink, then stamp again in the same exact spot on a piece of Basic White with Memento Black Ink.  The easiest way to do this is to cut your pieces the same size and use a Stamparatus.  The stamps won't move on the Stamparatus and you'll be left with flawless stamping exactly where it needs to be.

Cactus Cuties Calendars

Every year I try to send my team some fun calendar gifts.  I try to change it up every year.  This years design I used the fun Cactus Cuties Bundle.  This is a new bundle in the upcoming Mini Catalog.  My greeting is also from a new set, called Hello Beautiful.  It just happens to be the set that's bundled with those amazing new hexagon dies.  

I made a couple different designs, I went with darker DSP and a lighter cactus and then lighter DSP and a darker cactus.  Which is your favorite?  Speaking the DSP, that's also a new package of DSP.  It's the artfully composed package and it has some amazing patterns!!  If you're looking for small tear off calendars, this is where I get mine every year.  They're affordable and make a great gift.  

When I make a stand up design like this, I like to add a brace inside to keep it standing.  You can add a message on the back if you want.

SNEAK PEEK! Cactus Cuties Double Slider Card-VIDEO

Today's sneak peek is AMAZING!!!  This is a double slider card that I simply cannot get enough of!  I'm using the new Cactus Cuties Bundle and let me tell you, this. is. my. favorite. bundle. I love it!!!  I love the fun images, I love the greetings, I love the font.  I love it all!  The DSP is also new and it's incredible DSP!  This is the Abstract Beauty DSP and it's unique because it's a new to us size-4" x 6" and it has lots of gold accents and foiling.  It's beautiful!!!  

What makes this card fun and unique, pull one or both sides and you have double slide out panels!!!  I couldn't be more excited about this card!!!  I have a video sharing how I made this card.  Please check it out for all the details.  One tip though, for your sliding panels, I would leave off the punched flowers on the cacti. They can sometime get caught in the sliding mechanism.  There is a stamp in the set to stamp flowers, that's how I would do it next time.  Keep the sliding panels flat.

SNEAK PEEK! Driving By

I'm 'Driving By' with another sneak peek today!  This is the Driving By Stamp Set.  This is a Sale-a-Bration set that you can earn free with a $50 order in January or February.  I almost passed this set by, but I'm so glad I got it!!!  When it came it was sooo cute I had to stamp it and well it's just too cute!!!  I colored my van with Stampin' Blends, the colors are listed below in the supply list.  

I used a new folder to emboss my Calypso Coral Cardstock.  This is the Splatter Folder.  This folder comes in a set of two the other one is stripes.  I don't know which I like more!  They're both worth getting!!  I stamped my greeting on a scrap of Basic White and then added a Basic Black banner behind it, die cut with the Give It A Whirl Dies.  To finish my card I used some Black Matte Dots. They're classic and fun!

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas-Week 12 Tidings and Trimmings Top Flap Box

We made it!!!  It's Week 12!!!  I've had so much fun sharing so many Christmas projects with you!  I've listed all twelve of the projects from the series below.  If you missed one or two you can go back and check out the entire series! Today's box is so cute!  It's designed as a Christmas box but this box is a great size and can easily be modified for any holiday!  I'm already seeing Valentine's treats with this box!  

We're using the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle from the Annual Catalog.  I think this is one of the best Christmas bundles.  The greetings are great and the coordinating dies are amazing!  I love how you can layer them!  For my box I used the larger star outline die and die cut it from Basic White.  I then die cut the coordinating detail die from our Ombre Specialty Paper.  I added an Adhesive Sheet on the back of it before die cutting to make it quick and easy to add to my project.  

My greeting is from the Tidings and Trimmings set, I used a label die cut from the Seasonal Labels dies.  To finish my greeting I added some die cut leaves and some Elegant Gems for Berries.  I used my Real Red Stampin' Blends to color my gems. I tied some Real Red Satin Ribbon just around the lid of my box.  This not only saves on how much ribbon you use but it also means that your recipient doesn't have to untie the ribbon to get into the box.  

Inside the box, I have two York Peppermint Snowflakes. I found the bag of candies at my local Target, I bet they have these all over.  If you can't find these, this box is a good size and will hold any number of treats.  I used the Painted Christmas DSP for the top and sides of my box.  If you don't have this DSP, choose any festive DSP you have.

Perfectly Plaid Angled Gatefold Box-VIDEO

I am so excited to share this treat box with you!  It's so cute, a little different and uses mostly Annual Catalog products so no worrying about if it's sold out.  With all the amazing Christmas products in our Holiday Catalog I often forget about the amazing ones in the Annual Catalog.  The set we're using today is a great one to keep in your stash.  It's the Perfectly Plaid set and is timeless and a great one to have in your permanent stash.  

Today's box is really fun! I love the angled top to it and the belly band.  The belly band is made from DSP from the Beauty of the Earth DSP pack.  This DSP is so great and has year round patterns. I love this navy water colored tree print.  It's very wintery!  For my trees, I stamped them on Misty Moonlight Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink.  I splattered them with my Night of Navy Stampin' Blends for some extra texture.  The pinecones are from the same Perfectly Plaid Set, I used Night of Navy Ink and stamped the bottom layer off on scratch paper so you get that lovely two toned look.  The greeting is stamped on a label from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Good news! The Seasonal Label Dies will carry over so we don't have to say good bye to them!  I finished the belly band with some Blue Gems.  

When you remove the belly band the front of the box opens up and you have a spot to write a note or stamp another greeting if you wanted.  Inside my box is a box of Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Bark that I got from Target in their Christmas Section.  If you can't find this treat, I did find out that a full sized KitKat Bar will also fit in the box.  It is a little shorter but it will still work.  

You could also stick a gift card in the box for an added treat!  I think this is such a fun box!  Make sure you check out the video for all the details on this box.

SNEAK PEEK! Hello Ladybug Fun Fold

I have an amazing sneak peek for you today.  Over the next couple of weeks on my blog you'll see LOTS of new sneak peeks of upcoming products in the Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  Today I'm sharing sneak peeks from both catalogs!  The Hello Ladybug Bundle is one of my favorites, you'll find it in the Mini Catalog.  It's a punch bundle which is my favorite kind of bundle.  I love the stamp set and all the fun images!  

While the ladybug and wings can be punched out with the punch the leaf in the image doesn't have a punch or die so you do have to fussy cut that one.  But it's totally worth it.  This card is a super cute fun fold card.  It was inspired by this card by Marisa Alvarez.  This fun fold was too cute not to try!  Did you catch another sneak peek item on this card? No not the hexagon die, though that is new and one of my faves! But did you catch those Polished Dots.  I love these little accessories so much!!  They're gorgeous!  

For my fun fold, I started with a piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock that is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  The DSP is new from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  This DSP is part of a stamp/DSP bundle you can earn free with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.  We're not using the set today but the DSP is sooo good!  The DSP is 5 1/4" x 6", so you can get 4 per sheet of DSP.  Score the 6" side at 2". The Petal Pink Cardstock is 5" x 3 3/4" on the long side score at 2 1/2".  I love this fun card!

End Of The Year Celebration Class

Over the weekend I held my last in person class of the year.  I'll be back in January with another year of fun classes.  The class over the weekend was my End of the Year Celebration.  I use some of my favorite product from the last year and also throw in a sneak peek of some new products coming.  Here are the cards my guests made.  I don't have a supply list for these, they are reserved as a perk for those attending my classes.  If you're in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area I'd love to have you attend my next class. Next up, I pulled out what I think is the BEST DSP in the Annual Catalog.  The Pattern Party DSP is a host exclusive item and I love the fun patterns and colors!  This card is quick to come together and is so bright and fun!  This one might be my favorite!

One of my favorite products this year has been the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and when paired with the Beautiful Wings dies it's a stunning combo!  This card is so beautiful!!!!  Lots of sparkle and shine on this one! 

Finally, this is a newer set for me, but I am LOVING it!!!  The After The Storm Set is a hidden gem in the Annual Catalog I think.  I love the greetings and the stamps lend themselves into making simply gorgeous backgrounds!

Twelve Weeks of Christmas Week 11-Peaceful Deer Book Fold Box

We are wrapping up our Twelve Weeks of Christmas!  Next week is week 12!  I cannot believe how fast this series flew by!  I hope you're ready for Christmas.  If you need still need some super special treats for someone in your life I have a gorgeous box to share today!  This one is so regal and fancy, I love it!!  I'm using the Peaceful Deer Bundle.  If you missed the free class I did with this class in October you can check it out here.  I just love this punch bundle!  It's festive, fun and timeless!

  

The box I'm sharing today also features the Ever Eden DSP and the GORGEOUS Garden Gems!  These products are part of the Eden's Garden Promotion.  The DSP and Gems are only available while supplies last and may I suggest stocking up on these gems!  They are sooo stunning, I've gone through 2 packages in just a couple of months!  

This unique box opens like a book and inside you have two, mini boxes you might say.  Each side holds some amazing treats!  The treats today are the Godiva Mini Bars.  I got mine at Walgreens and they come 8 to a package.  Each of these boxes holds 4, so you can get 2 boxes per package.  Because this is a little more expensive than other treats, these are probably treat boxes you'll make only for those super special people.

I love how fun this box is!  It's a little surprise when you open it and find two boxes of treats!!  The box is held closes with the beautiful Soft Succulent Ribbon.  The Ever Eden DSP is so gorgeous! I love the gold accents on the DSP.  If you wanted a space to write a message you could always replace one of hte DSP pieces for a piece of Basic White to write a message.
