Sneak Peek Rainbow Of Happiness

When I saw this bundle I HAD to have it!  I love rainbows, I love bright rainbow colors, this bundle is perfect!!  It has this amazing die that die cuts this half arch, when I saw how big it was the only thing that came to mind was 'I gotta make a rainbow shaker with that!'  This isn't the first time I've made a rainbow shaker card.  I made this card back in 2016, let me tell you that card was WAY more complicated then this one! The dies made it sooooo easy!!!!  I added a Window Sheet on the back of my die cut piece.  To keep my sequins separate I cut thin strips of the Foam Adhesive Strips and adhered them between each arch.  My sequins are not Stampin' Up!  I am a collector of sequins so I have a box of probably every color you'll ever need.  

I added some white and gold clouds using the Basic Borders Dies and the clouds that come in the Brilliant Rainbow Dies.  My greeting is stamped and die cut with the Give It A Whirl Dies.  I also used my Stitched Rectangle Dies to make a gold frame for it all.  I LOVE this card and all the fun shaking it does! Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 9-Snowman Popcorn Wrapper-VIDEO

Today I have a really cute and SIMPLE gift idea for you.  This one is so quick and cute, you can carry this one into the new year for winter gifts too.  This idea has been around for years.  And back in my craft show days (it's been YEARS friends!) this was always a good seller.  Depending on the occasion you can really make any face you want, Santa, elfs, etc.  Today we're keeping it simple and were sticking with a snowman for no other reason then I only had blue gloves.  

Red gloves would be perfect for Santa, green an elf, these blue ones I couldn't help but make a snowman!  I got my gloves at the Dollar Tree, this is a really affordable gift.  You can also look for gloves in a multipack to maximize your gift giving.  The Basic White Cardstock for the face is wrapped around a microwave popcorn packet, easy peasy.  To wrap it you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  The rest is all scraps that you'll die cut.  Then you just add your face.  For my face we're using the Pierced Blooms Dies for his eyes and smile and the Stitched Triangle Dies for his carrot nose.  I used Adhesive Sheets on the back of my Basic Black Cardstock for easy gluing of my coal eyes and smile.  My tag is stamped with stamps from the Snowman Season Set.  Any greeting will work!  

For the hat put one glove on your hand then put the other right over it.  Carefully remove it and put it on your snowman.  Tie some ribbon around the top and add your stamped tag.  I have a full supply list below.  Make sure you check out the video for more tips and tricks.  Next week for week 10 of my Twelve Weeks Of Christmas we're doing a two part gift, make sure you catch my Facebook Live this Wednesday for part 1.

Christmas Tree Hershey Kiss Mini Box

Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving!?  Where did the year go?  Christmas will be here before we know it.  If you're still in need of some quick stocking stuffer gift ideas this is a great one.  It's small enough that you can carry them in your bag and hand them out to people, or put them in stockings, use them for an Advent Countdown or even some cute table favors for your holiday table.  Each box holds two Hershey Kisses.  They're the perfect treat!  Right now Hershey has so many different holiday flavors out there you could really customize the box to the treat.  

The box is pretty cute and simple.  I have video below going over all the details of the box.  You can decorate them how I've done it or use what you have.  This box is great to use DSP scraps on!!!  

You'll need a piece of cardstock that is 4" x 4 1/4"

On the short side score at 1" and 3"

On the long side score at 1 1/4", 2 1/4" and 3 1/2"

You'll make diagonal score lines on the squares on either side of the larger rectangles-check my video for help.  

Your DSP pieces are two that are 1 7/8" x 1 1/8" and one that is 1 7/8" x 5/8"

Belly Band 4" x 1"

I have a cutting diagram below what your box should look like after it scored and trimmed.  I added some glue tabs you'll see in the diagram.  There's no need to measure these, just eyeball them.  To finish my box I used a belly band and attached a circle decorated with trees from the Christmas Tree Dies, a simple greeting and some Cute Star Sequins.  Keep it simple!  I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.

Stampin' Blends Daisy Garden

I have a beautiful card to share with you today!  Who wouldn't love to receive this bright and beautiful card.  I used the fun Daisy Garden set on this one.  You can see another card I've made with this set here.  Both beautiful cards but both give completely different vibes. This is a really gorgeous all occasion/season set.  

 

I colored my image with Stampin' Blends, I even colored the background too.  I went with lots of bold and bright colors.  I have all the colors listed below in my supply list.  For the background I used my Light Pool Party and colored everything.  I then went around each and every petal, leaf and stem and outlined it with my Dark Pool Party.  This is really an optional step but it does give the flowers some amazing dimension!  I also added a few dots here and there with my Dark Pool Party again for some added texture and dimension.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 8-Reese's Nutcracker Stocking Box-VIDEO

Week 8!!  What is going on!!!?!  We are just over four weeks away from Christmas!!!  Because Christmas is just around the corner you might be looking for a quick, affordable and of course cute treat to make.  This is it.  I have the solution for you!  This super cute lidded box is the perfect mini treat and it's super simply.  You'll be making tons of these in no time!!!  I'm using the Sweet Little Stocking Bundle and Sweet Stocking DSP for mine!  This bundle will give you LOTS of room to customize your stockings.  Add gifts, pets, candy canes and more!  I'm keeping mine simply but you could get as detailed as you want!

I love the lid on this box.  It has a milk carton type top and I think that's super cute and fun!  The DSP is separate from the box and will easily lift on and off.  The is decorated with the stocking which is die cut directly from the DSP!  I added a stamped and die cut candy cane in the stocking and a quick greeting.  The lid is finished with a White Glittered Organdy bow and some Decorative Matte Dots.  The new Garden Gems would be gorgeous on this box!  Check out the video to see those!  

Inside the box are two of the Reese's nutcrackers.  These were a favorite of mine last year so I was sooooo excited to see them back this year.  I found mine at Target.  The bottom of the box is stamped with the tiny stars from the set.  The box bottom and top are the same size, check the video for my tip on making the lid go on smoothly onto the bottom!

Sun Will Rise With Blending Brushes-VIDEO

Today I have a gorgeous card to share with you!  This card features our amazing Blending Brushes.  I used the brushes to create the beautiful night and day background.  This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pintrest.  The image didn't say who made it and it never linked back to a site so if this is your card please let me know and thank you for inspiring me!  I used two sets for this card, the After The Storm Set and To The Moon.  They work perfectly with each other!

Thanksgiving Leftovers Class

Over the weekend I held a fun in person class.  If you're in the Albuquerque I'd love to welcome you to one of my classes.  We have so much fun.  This class was called Thankgiving Leftovers.   For my classes I usually prep some extras, just in case, Well I had lots of extras from past classes so the pieces were reimaged and changed into thank you, grateful or thinking of you cards.  I love them all!  

The first one uses the Ornate Thanks set and the In Bloom Set.  I LOVE the colors on this card.  Mint Macaron and Polished Pink are a match made in heaven!  

The next card uses the Biggest Wish Set and the new Eden's Garden Set.  The flower in the Eden's Garden set is so pretty and delicate, I love it paired with a bold greeting.  

My next card also features the Eden's Garden Set.  This one features the greetings as well as that sprig image.  It's amazing how different the cards can be with the same set.  I love showing the versatility of sets with my guests.  

I know I said I loved them all but this one might be my favorite.  Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Smoky Slate-YES please!!  LOVE everything about this card!  This one we also used the Ornate Thanks Set and the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle.  I love using Christmas sets for other occasions.  

Finally, I love this card.  I think it is so reminecent of fall and the cork paper is sooo amazing!!!  This one uses Daisy Lane and of course the coordinating Daisy Punch.  The greeting is from Ornate Thanks.  If you're counting that's three cards that used one set and they're all soooo different!

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 7-Penguin Place Reese's Tree Slider Box-VIDEO

It's week 7 of my Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Series!  I can't believe we're already on week 7!!!!  Where is the time going?  Christmas will be here before we know it.  Today's gift is an amazing slider box!  I've made these in the past and they're some of my favorite treats to make because they always get a big WOW!  The treat appears like magic!  I've made versions of this slider box in the past, you can check out the Cracker Jack one I made here.  

The amazing magic of this box comes when you pull one (or both of the sides).  The treat slides out on one side the greeting strip slides out on the other.  Just like magic!!!!  This box does have a few tips and tricks for success so make sure to watch the video for all those tips.  I also recommend trying it first on some older cardstock before making your final project.  The first time I made a slider like this it took a couple tries so be patient and I'll try to walk you through it and make it as easy as possible.  

I used the Penguin Place Bundle for my project today, this is one of my favorite bundles EVER!  It's soooo cute!  Unfortunately it's been on unorderable status for a long time.  According to Stampin' Up! it's supposed to be back in stock the week of November 15th, that's THIS WEEK!  If you've been waiting for this bundle or the punch, watch my online store and when it's available be ready to jump on it!
