Thoughtful Octopus Class To Go Day 4-VIDEO

Today's card might just be my favorite of the week, though it's hard to choose.  I found this fun fold on a fellow demonstrators YouTube Channel.  Thanks to Creative Moments By G for this fun card inspiration!  The front of the card I used some DSP from the Beautiful Ordinary Life package and cut the cardstock in half diagonally in both directions, then used both sides of the DSP for the card.  So cute!  The cupcakes and balloon are fussy cut, you can always stamp them directly onto the octopus piece if you wanted too.

When you open the card there's a piece that pops out!  It's so fun!  I added a gift card to my card but you could add a special note, cash or anything else you can think of.  I used more the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP on the inside.  Check out the video for this card. It's so much fun!

Today's card is so much fun! We're making a tower card!  These cards have 'popped up' in popularity recently and they're so cute and so much fun to make.  This one we're adding an additional smaller card on the front so you have room to write a short message.  I'm using the Splash Of Sparkles DSP and used the colors for my color inspiration.  Shaded Spruce and Azure Afternoon-what a great combo!

The left side of the card has a 'tower' that pops up out the envelope. I added a slim card next to the tower.  Lots of the images in the stamp set were used to make not only the octopus focal point, but the fun ocean scene on the card.

Thoughtful Octopus Class To Go Day 2-VIDEO

Today's card is sooo cute but super simple!  I think this would be a great card to mass produce if you needed a bunch.  Change up the greeting and you're set on any occasion!  The greeting is fussy cut but it would be equally as cute as circle popped up, a banner.  I used Basic Beige Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock to stamp the seahorses for the background.  It's an easy add that really makes the card pop.

For my octopus I stamped it in Secret Sea stamped off on scratch paper first. Then used the same ink for all the details. I added lots of Wink of Stella to make him sparkle. For the Baker's Twine bow I colored the White Baker's Twine with a Cloud Cover Stampin' Blend to match the card better.

Thoughtful Octopus Class To Go Day 1-VIDEO

This card is sooo cute!  There are no dies or punches with this bundle so we have to fussy cut.  Don't worry we're not fussy cutting every day I promise!  You can get as detailed as you want with the fussy cutting, or if you'd rather, stamp the octopus on a circle and add it to your card.  To get the dots on his head, the face and the tentacles to really stand out let your ink dry for a few minutes.  If you stamp them directly after each other the wet ink might bleed those elements a little instead of giving you the crisp lines you want.

The tag is stamped and ink blended to give it a more 'ocean' like feel. The action wobbler on the back of the octopus makes him shake and wobble! It's so fun to play with! Check out the video to see it in action!
