Zany Zoo Lunch Box Notes-VIDEO

I'm so excited you're joining me today!  I have an adorable project to share with you today.  Today I'm sharing some fun lunchbox notes with you featuring the adorable Zany Zoo Suite of products.  Earlier this year I was asked to join the 2023 Sale and Promotions Demonstrator Council.  This is a group of demonstrators that works directly with Stampin' Up! and helps support the current sales and promotions that the company is running.  In May we were featuring some of favorite items from the new Annual Catalog.  The Zany Zoo Suite is one of my favorites in the Annual Catalog so this was an easy choice for me!

I've already shared lots of cute projects with this suite here my blog.  You can check out a couple of them here and here.  For this assignment I wanted something else that was more than a card.  I think these little critters are so funny so I went to Google and searched out some silly jokes.

I thought the jokes would make really cute lunch box or back pack notes that I could easily drop into my kids bags to brighten their day at school and/or work (for my son).  My husband would also love them too.  This is not just for kids!  This would be a really cute alternative to a card to send to grandkids too!

The cards are about 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" and they have a pocket that reveals the punch line to the joke as well as a place to write a message or sign it.  I kept mine very simple with just some DSP and a few embellishments.  These after all will be dropped into a backpack or lunchbox.

I made a couple of them, one featuring the alligator with the joke "Why don't alligators like fast food?" Inside says "It's too hard to catch" The skunk one is " Have you heard the latest joke about the skunk?" Inside says "Never mind it stinks."  The critters are colored with Stampin' Blends, colors are listed in the supplies.  All the details are in the video.

If you want to recreate the lunchbox notes here's the basic measurements.  Dress it up as you like!

Holder 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" on the long side score at 3 1/4"
Cardstock for the inside of the pocket 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"

From the PDF
Trim the front piece to 3" x 4"
Trim the inside piece to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Everyday Thanks Watercolor Pencils

I'm super excited about today's card!!  I'm a little bit obsessed with the pencil from the Everyday Thanks Set.  Instead of making it a regular pencil this time I stamped it and made a row of our Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils!  If you have them you'll recognize them.  If you haven't picked up our pencils you can add them to your next order.  While I colored watercolor pencils I used my Stampin' Blends to color them.  I wanted a bolder more intense color then the watercolor pencils would have provided.

I used the Crafting With You Set for my greeting.  I heat embossed it in gold on some Vellum Cardstock.  I also used the flowers from the Crafting With You Set to make a fun background for my card.  I love how fun this is and any crafty friend would love this card. I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Sunday Favorites! Paper Florist Dies Flower Seed Card Pocket-VIDEO

I'm excited to bring you another Sunday Favorites!  This week I'm featuring the new Paper Florist Dies.  These dies are so incredible and they create the most gorgeous flowers.  They are easy to put together.  This card is special because there's a seed packet gift inside the card.  I shared another project featuring these dies a few weeks ago, you can check that out here.

I used a variety of colors for my flowers and leaves.  If you check out my video you'll see a different arrangement of colors.  Both cards were made the exact same way.  I customized my colors based on the seeds I put on the inside.

For my greeting I used the Biggest Wish Set.  I LOVE this set!  It's one of my all time favorite greeting sets.  If you haven't picked this one up yet make sure you do.

Everyday Thanks Pencil

School has officially wrapped up in our neck of the woods.  For one last teacher thank you card I have a super cute one today!  I am LOVING the new Pebbled Path In Color!  This is the best gray!  I especially love it paired with a subtle color like Petal Pink-so gorgeous!  I went with a bold pop of yellow with these colors too and I love this combo!  I brough out some Crushed Curry in the DSP and the tag reinforcer.  We don't have a Crushed Curry Stampin' Blends so I used Daffodil Delight and added lots of layers to intensify the color, it's not exactly Crushed Curry but it's pretty close.

stampin up, everyday thanks

The DSP is from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP.  While this is a HUGE stack of DSP it's well worth the investment!  There's a pattern for everything in it!  My background splatter is from the Quiet Meadow Set and I white heat embossed a greeting from the Something Fancy Set.  I finshed the card with some Flat Pearls and some More Dazzling Paper.  I have a fully supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Sunday Favorites! Little Monkey Banana Twinkie Box-VIDEO

Welcome to my Sunday Favorites!  I'm featuring some of my favorite products in the Annual Catalog with fun projects to inspire you!  Today I'm sharing another adorable Little Monkey project.  You can check out another box I shared on Wednesday using this bundle here. I'm on the hunt for all the banana treats with this bundle.

stampin up, little monkey

This is a good sized box, mine holds a banana twinkie.  I found them at my local Wal Mart.  I love the background on this box.  I used a piece of Old Olive that was trimmed to 5 1/4" x 4", I cut it in half diagonally.  I used one piece and ran it through my Fern Embossing Folder.  Then trim off 2" of it and use a Mini Blending Brush and Old Olive Ink to add lots of texture.  Then adhere them to box.  I used the Bough Punch to have some leaves poking out for even more texture.

The Natual Wavy Trim is pretty amazing!  It's a quick favorite for sure!  My monkey is colored with Stampin' Blends, colors listed in the supply list below.  I used some Basic White that was die cut with the Zany Zoo Dies, I used the fun scalloped border.  It's good place for a quick greeting!

Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8 1/2" x 7 1/2"

On the long side score at 1/2", 2" and 7"

Old Olive 5 1/4" x 4" (trimmed diagonally)
