Seasons Of Fun Treat Box-VIDEO

We're quickly approaching Halloween.  If you're still looking for treat boxes this might be the one you need!  Today I'm using our Acetate Card Boxes.  This is the smaller of the two.  It measures 3 1/8" x 3 1/8".  It's perfect for 3" x 3" cards but also makes amazing treat boxes!  My treat boxes today hold three fun size Twix.  I'm pairing up the boxes with the Seasons of Fun Host Set. Don't let the word 'host' scare you.  This set can be earned with any large online order, over $150.  At $150 you'll start to accumulate Stampin' Rewards. You can spend your Stampin' Rewards on anything, include host exclusive items like this Seasons of Fun Set!  Don't want to place a $150 alone, gather up some friends and place your orders together.  I can even open up an exclusive host code for you.  Contact me with questions on how you can get this set free!

I colored my skater pumpkin girl with Stampin' Blends.  Colors all listed below in the supply list.  I spent some time fussy cutting her, if you didn't want to fussy cut you could use a larger Basic White Circle and stamp directly onto the circle.

stampin up, season of fun

I layered up lots of dies for this project.  All of my cardstock layers, with the exception of my stamped pieces are all from dies.  I used the label from the Stockings Dies to wrap around the box.  My favorite labels are the Hippo and Friends Dies, I seriously cannot stop using them! Of course I had to use the Layering Circles Dies.  I finished the box with a tag from the Ornate Frames Dies and a heart from the Give It a Whirl Dies.  I love these all layered together!

stampin up, season of fun

If you're not into Halloween treats I also shared two other versions of this box with the other images from the Season of Fun Set.  I also colored my images with Stampin' Blends, used all the same layering dies.  For my little fall box I used the follow Stampin' Blends: Cherry Cobbler, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Gray Granite, Smoky Slate, Bronze/Ivory, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Soft Succulent.

stampin up, season of fun

The greetings for all three boxes are from the Banner Year Set.  This is an amazing year round set that I love and have used a ton in the past few weeks.  I think the color combo on this Christmas box is my favorite!  I need to make a card with it.  Coastal Cabana and Polished Pink!  I'm here for that!!  For my Christmas girl I used the following Stampin' Blends:  Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Polished Pink, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Bronze/Ivory, Granny Apple, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede

One Of A Kind Box

I have a super simple box to share with you today.  One of my favorite types of boxes are slider boxes.  I first made this type of box with a hot cocoa packet and I've been hooked on them ever since.  I love that you simply pull the ribbon and out slides your treat!

stampin up, floral squares dies

It's so simple but so cute all together!!  My box is Granny Apple Green Cardstock and I used the Floral Squares Dies to fancy it up a little.  I love these dies, they're so elegant and gorgeous and need no other embellishments!  My greeting is from the Prince and Princess Host Set.  This is a set that you can only earn with your Stampin' Reward Dollars.  When you place an order over $150 you'll begin earning Stampin' Rewards.  Gather up some friends orders if you don't want to place such a large order, combine them all and earn the Stampin' Rewards.  Then you can choose this set free!!

stampin' up, floral squares dies

Inside my box were some mini Snickers Peanut Brownies.  I found them at my local Walmart in the Halloween section.  I didn't even get to try one before I gave them all away so I may need to get another bag LOL.  Can't find those.  I think maybe a couple Ghirardelli chocolate squares may fit.  The finished box is 2" x 2" x 3/4".  My ribbon is the Flirty Flamingo Metallic Ribbon.  I love this ribbon, it has little specks of gold in it and really just shimmer and shines!

stampin up, floral squares dies

I have some step by step instructions for my box.
You'll need a piece of cardstock that is 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
On the short side score at 3/4" on each side
On the long side score at 2" and 2 3/4"
Fold and burnish your score lines.  Trim the center square tabs as shown in the photo.

Fold your center tabs inside and add some strong adhesive to the backs of them, I'm using Tear and Tape.  You'll also add some adhesive to the tabs on one of your sides of the box.  Both sides are identical, at this point it doesn't matter which is the front and which is the back.  Choose a side and add adhesive to both tabs.

Adhere your tabs to the inside of the front.  Fold and adhere the side tabs over the front tabs.  Your box is assembled!  Easy!

To make the slider.  Punch a hole (I used a hand held hole punch you can get in any office store), in the front and back.  Thread your ribbon through and use your treat to push the ribbon into the box.  Tie your bow on top of the box above your treat.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Love Of Leaves Pumpkin Cake Box-VIDEO

Today is a sweet treat!!  I have a cute box to share with you that is perfect for the first day of fall.  I used lots of beautiful fall colors and pulled out my Love of Leaves Set.  This set was featured in the Holiday Catalog last year but thankfully carried over.  This is still one of my most favorite leaf sets and dies.  I love the stamping details and the texture from all the stitching.  You can't beat that!  I also want to make another push for the Hippo and Friends Dies.  Even if you don't want the coordinating set please please get the dies!  The labels in that die set are a must have!  I use them all. the. time!!!!  I brought in a greeting from the Banner Year Set.  Again another must have!!!

stampin up, love of leaves

I love the box. It's a simple box to create but it is such a WOW box because of that sharp angled side.  This box actually goes together pretty easy.  Your cardstock and DSP start at the same measurements and you'll score them exactly the same!  I love simple boxes.
Cardstock and DSP-6 1/2" x 6 1/2" score at 1 3/4" on all four sides for both pieces.
That's it! Can you believe it.  Make sure to check out my video for full instructions on assembly.
My DSP today is the Beauty of the Earth DSP.  The patterns in this DSP are simply gorgeous!!!

stampin' up, love of leaves

Inside my box is a Hostess pumpkin Cake.  Please don't disregard this box because it's fall themed.  These cakes are all the same size so with a few changes of cardstock, DSP and stamps think of the endless possibilities!  They usually have a Christmas cake, what about birthdays?  Let your creativity run wild with this box!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Make sure you like and subscribe to my YouTube channel while you're watching the video.

Two More Clever Cats Cards

I have two more quick Clever Cats Cards to share with you.  These would be so cute to share with friends.  The first you could share anytime of year.  This set is a year round set.  But you'll definitely break it out for Halloween too.  I used Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo for the base and background of my card.  I love pinks and blacks together.  It's a bold combo that pops!  The DSP is from the Brights Pack and I finished the card with some Black and White Gingham Ribbon and Expressions In Ink Ephemera Sequins.

My second card is a more traditional Halloween card.  This one is simple enough to mass produce but cute enough to bring lots of smiles.  I stamped the bats in Gorgeous Grape ink on Gorgeous Grape Cardstock.  My cat and pumpkin is stamped with Mango Melody, Smoky Slate and Memento Black.  Fussy cut and add to your card.  It's so cute!!!  I finished this card with a stamped spider and some Black Matte Dots.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Sale-a-Bration Sunday Feels Like Home Stair Step Card

We are nearing the end of our Sale-a-Bration Sunday Series!  Next week will be our final Sale-a-Bration Sunday!  That also means that Sale-a-Bration is nearly over!  Don't miss getting your free items!!  You earn them with every $50 you spend and once they're gone they're gone!  Today I'm actually sharing TWO Sale-a-Bration products.  The Feels Like Home Set and the Beautifully Penned DSP. The DSP is so much fun.  I love the black and white patterns but I think you can agree with me that the Feels Like Home Set is the true star in this card.  This set was not first on my list, in fact it was the very LAST Sale-a-Bration item I got. But the more I've played with it the more I just LOVE IT!!!  So don't over look it.

stampin up, sale-a-bration, feels like home, beautifully penned

I made a stair step card featuring the set.  There are tons of different tutorials out there for making stair step type cards, you can make them in portrait or landscape with multiple steps.  The choice is yours!  I'm sharing how I'm making mine.  The written instructions might be confusing so defiantly check out the video for a full tutorial.
With an 8 1/2" x  5 1/2" card base, place it in your trimmer on the 5 1/2" side.
Cut 1" from each side, cutting from 1"-5 1/4"
Place it in your Simply Scored next score on the long side at 1", 2" and 5 1/4" only to the cut line. Flip and repeat on the opposite side.
Score a line down the center at 4 1/4".
Your DSP pieces are 7/8" x 3 1/8" (two), 3 3/8" x 4 1/8", 7/8" x 7/8" (two), 1" x 5 1/2"

I colored my image with Stampin' Blends.  All the colors are listed below in the supply list.  I used a greeting from the Biggest Wish Set and heat embossed it in white on Basic Gray Cardstock.  I love the greetings in the set but I really wanted a different greeting on this card.  The card is finished simply with some gray twine from the Essentials Baker's Twine and some silver pearls from the Metallic Pearls.  Check out my video for all the details.  I have a full supply list below you can shop my Online Store for all these products.

Cute Halloween Treat Bag-VIDEO

How stinkin' cute is this little bag!!!?!  Ahhh!  I can't get over it!  I went old school with this bag.  This type of bag was one of the very first 3-D items I ever learned to make as a demonstrator.  It's an oldie but a goodie.  One that you'll continue to come back to time and time again.  The best part of it is that you can easily customize this bag over and over.  I'm using 6" x 6" DSP but I've also made these bags with 12" x 12" DSP.  Simply adjust the measurements to fit whatever you need to package.  This is one bag that I would mass produce for class gifts or co workers or whatever you need tons of treat bags for.  I used the Cute Hallween DSP and simply fussy cut my images straight from the DSP.  The only stamping is the greetings.  I used both the Cutest Halloween Set and Banner Year Set.

stampin up, cute halloween

To make this bag you'll need two pieces of 6" x 6" DSP.
You only need to remember 2 score lines for this bag.
The sides and bottom are both scored 1" from the edge.
The top is scored at 3/4".
If you have a directional DSP like this one make sure you make note which is the top line.
To modify this with larger DSP or even smaller DSP for a mini mini bag, measure your gift width, whatever it is that's the size you'll score the sides and bottom.  The top score line really just depends on how much of the border you want at the top, whatever you choose score the top at that.  You can even make it really easy on yourself and score them all the same.

Inside my bag I have these little bags of cheeseballs. I found a box of these at Target but I also saw them at Sam's Club. I think they're pretty readily available.  If you can't find them this bag will hold nearly any fun treat.

For all the details on assembling this box check out my video below.  Like and Subscribe to my YouTube channel to never miss a video.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Cutest Halloween

I'm totally addicted to the Cutest Halloween Suite of products!  Now that my kids are older I don't do a ton of crafting for Halloween but this suite has totally captured me!  I'll have another project featuring the DSP from this suite tomorrow.  The punch is currently on backorder but these images are not too complicated and you can still easily fussy cut them until you get your punch.   I love the images!  This card is super quick and simple and you can easily mass produce this one if you need a stack of Halloween cards.  Of course you can change up the image and/or greeting to any of the cute faces in this set.

stampin up, cutest halloween

I stamped my entire card base, well the top half anyway, with the spider stamp in the set in Highland Heather ink on my Highland Heather card base.  I used DSP for the bottom half of my card.  Mix and match your favorite patterns!  For my greeting piece I stamped candy corn on the bottom and my greeting on top.  Top the candy corn with your favorite image or make a variety of them.  Finish with a bow from our Black and White Gingham ribbon and Cute Star Sequins.  So CUTE!!!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Class Cards

Over the weekend I held my annual in person Retired BOGO Sale.  At the sale my guests also got to make two cards.  Today I'll share the cards my guests got to make.  I don't have a supply list for these cards but all supplies can be shopped for in my Online Store, linked below.  If you're in the Albuquerque, NM area I'd love to have you at my next in person class. Contact me for details, email stamperrdn@q.com

The first card uses the Sale-a-Bration Set Feels Like Home Set.  The card is super simple but classy and elegant too.  The image is stamped in Early Espresso Ink and colored simply with a few Stampin' Blends.  We used Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Gray Granite. The vanilla piece is embossed with the Bark Embossing Folder.  Some Baker's Twine and a greeting finish this beautiful card.

stampin up, feels like home, sale a bration

The second card is a fun fold card that features the beautiful Strong of Heart Set.  For every stamp set purchased Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to support heart health.  I used some DSP from the Sale-a-Bration pack Beautifully Penned for one of the panels.  The classic black/white patterns are perfect for any occasion.  Inks used are Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.  I added a little pop of color with a flower from the Pierced Blooms Dies.
