Our final project is another treat box.  This box is one of my favorites!  We're using that awesome tag in the bundle to make the front and back of the box.  Then we'll make a super simple box to adhere the front and back on.  This is a great way to get into box making or to make a bunch of them at once.  I'm using Misty Moonlight for my box and tags.  I'm also using the amazing tree and moon dies for my background.

I have a piece of Misty Moonlight on the front tag that is embossed with one of the Seasonal Cheer Embossing Folders.  It adds just enough texture to the background.  I used Stampin' Blends to color my image.  I wanted it to pop so instead of a black hat and/or cat I went with a Timid Tiger cat and Berry Burst hat.  I love the look of them against the blue background.  Add a greeting and some stars and you're done!

Oh My Fright Bundle Class To Go Day 3-VIDEO

This card is super fun and a new technique to me!  This is the Watercolor Dip Technique.  This is such a fun technique and a new way to use our Watercolor Paper and Ink Refills.  You'll need some sort of bowl or container that you can dip your paper into.  Keep in mind the bigger it is, the more water you'll need, the more ink refill you'll need.  To get a darker color add more ink refill.  I used Granny Apple Green for mine and I could have definitely gone darker.  You'll start by adding water to your container and mixing in some ink refill.  You can test it on some Watercolor Paper by dipping the paper into the color.  Too bright? Dilute it with water.  Not dark enough? Add more Ink Refill.  Dip the paper in and hold it for a few seconds.  Then let dry or use your heat tool.  Add more Ink Refill to make the water darker, dip again but not as high this time, creating layers.  Dry and repeat until you have your desired look.

This technique will only work with our Watercolor Paper. Our Basic White-even the thick one won't hold up with this much water. I used a Stampin' Blend Marker to add splatter to the background. I colored my kitty with some Stampin' Blends. This simple card is so cute with that dipped background. Give it a try!

I'm super excited to share today's project with you.  This box is so completely adorable!! We're using the Scalloped Window Boxes from the catalog.  These boxes go together soooo quickly and they will hold a bunch of Halloween sweets.  You get 8 boxes so this is a great project to mass produce.  For the box I ink blended color using my Blending Brushes.  I used Hydrangea Hue, Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight.  Then I used the Hydrangea Hue Shimmer Brush to splatter some spots on there.  I love the look and they're sparkly so win/win!

My most favorite part of this box is the ghost.  I used the Velveteen Paper so he's super soft, velvety and so cute!  We used lots of the dies in the bundle for the tag, I modified the tag die to make it a little shorter.  So cute!  To finish the box I added a Barely Blush bow on my tag.  To make the ribbon a little thinner I simply trimmed it in half.  This is a great technique to get more from your ribbon and make it a little easier to work with.  Finally we added some white Wonderful Stars Stickers.  These are on the Last Chance List so run to get them before they're gone!

Our first project is a card, watch for a couple treat boxes coming this week!  I'm all for cute Halloween, this set is oh so cute!  I went with traditional Halloween colors, and laid strips of cardstock in a diagonal pattern.  Trim off an excess.  Before adhering it to the card I clear heat embossed the cluster of bats image.  I love this subtle look in the background.  I gold heat embossed the greeting for added shine.

The bigger bats are stamped in Gorgeous Grape and die cut. I curled their wings slightly and adhered them with Dimensionals to give them as much depth as possible. Finally, I added the gold stars and the featured embellishment the Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers. These are on the Last Chance List so if you love them run and get them now.
