Sweetest Cherries Hershey Kiss Box-VIDEO

I'm excited to share today's project with you!  I'm making the cutest box for Hershey Kisses!  My box is not Christmas themed but switch up the stamp sets and you easily have a cute Christmas box!  I'm using the Sweetest Cherries Bundle because my Hershey Kisses are cherry!  These are yummy!  I'm not typically a fan of their flavored ones but I do like these and look for them every Christmas season!

I used Merry Merlot to stamp my cherries and I punched them out with the coordinating punch.  The leaves are stamped on Granny Apple Green Cardstock with Granny Apple Green Ink and Garden Green Ink for the detail.  Again punch those out with the coordinating punch.  The stems were punched with Early Espresso Cardstock.  I used a greeting from the new Warm Welcome Set.  This set was featured for Stampin' Up! World Card Making Day Event in October.  It's a fun bundle that will be in the next mini catalog.

I used the Gingham Cottage DSP on the box and for the belly band.  This DSP is amazing and it's retiring!  Starting December 1 it will be 40% off discounted to $18.00 (used to be $30!!).  Get it while you can! My box is cut from Black Cardstock.  I used the 12" x 12" cardstock in the Holiday Mini because I could cut 4 per sheet of the 12" x 12" opposed to only 2 per sheet of 8 1/2" x 11".  The 12" x 12" Black Cardstock is retiring too.  Don't wait to get it!

The box is 5 1/2" x 5"
On the long side score at 1 1/4" each side
On the short side score at 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 3/4" and 3 3/4"

Black Gingham DSP
2 7/8" x 1 1/8" two pieces
7/8" x 1 1/8" two pieces
7/8" x 2 7/8"

So Saffron Gingham DSP
5 1/4" x 1 1/2"

Check out my video for tips on trimming up your box.  While you're there subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.  I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  The Last Chance Sale starts December 1, both the Gingham Cottage DSP (40% off!) and Black 12" x 12" Cardstock are on that list.

From Our Home Card

Today I have a beautiful card that I cased from myself and is quick enough to mass produce for Christmas cards.  I'm using the Framed and Festive Set, this set is only available while supplies last so don't wait to get yours!  The greetings are amazing and the font is so pretty!  I'm casing myself for this one.  In my last Card Crate I made a belly band for the box that was similar to this.  I loved the design so much that I wanted to make it a card.  I used the Framed Florets Dies along with the set to step up my card.

The greeting is stamped and die cut onto a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  My leaves are die cut from Brushed Metallic Cardstock and Vellum Cardstock.  I love using vellum for accents like this.  I finished my card with a Linen Thread bow.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 9-Christmas Scottie Tapered End Cake Box

Week 9!  How!??  Only three weeks of the series left!  That means Christmas is right around the corner!  YIKES!  Today I have the sweetest, cutest, yummiest box!  Well, don't eat the box, the treat inside is pretty yummy though! I'm using the Christmas Scottie Bundle.  This has been one of my favorite bundles in the Holiday Catalog and I'm so so so so sad to see it go!  This bundle will NOT carry over!  The punch will be on sale, 30% off, starting December 1 for the Last Chance Sale.  I don't think it will last long though, if you plan on getting the bundle shop early! Learn all about the Last Chance Sale here. The sale starts on Thursday, get your shopping list ready!

I'm also using the Gingham Cottage DSP, this is another favorite I'm so sad to see leave!  This mega pack of DSP is huge and I have so much of it left!  It's a great stack to have on hand year round!  This smaller check pattern is my favorite.  It works so well with my box.  I trimmed the Real Red piece into a flag using the Banners Pick a Punch.  So cute!  I used the punch for my pup and his bow.  The gifts and ribbon I fussy cut but they're pretty easy to fussy cut.  I used some Adhesive Sequins to add some sparkle and shine.  For even more sparkle I added Wink of Stella to all the ribbons.

Let's chat about the box.  This is a fun tapered end box.  I made this box back in August of 2021 and I resized it for this treat and it's couldn't be cuter!  These boxes are fun and while they look super complicated they're actually pretty simple and I promise if you make one, you'll make a bunch of them!  I love the tapered ends.  I think it's unique and fun!  I tied some Silver Threaded Twine around the box to keep it closed.  If you didn't want to use ribbon you can use staples, clips or even adhere it closed.  But your recipients will have to tear into it if you adhere it closed.

In my box I have a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake.  In the box you can fit one of the chocolate or vanilla cakes.  The Christmas Tree brownies will also fit but they are a little smaller so you'll have some extra room in the box.

Let's make the box!  I used a piece of Garden Green Cardstock
8 1/2" x 9"
On the short side score at 1", 2", 6 1/2" and 7 1/2"
On the long side score at 1/2", 1 3/4", 4 3/4" and 6"
Mark to the first horizontal score line at 1 1/8" and 5 3/8", flip cardstock upside down and mark again to the first horizontal score line at 1 1/8" and 5 3/8"

Gingham Cottage DSP
4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
5" x 1"

I have a diagram to show how to score your cardstock.  NOTE: Graphic NOT to scale.  Check out the video for all the details on this box and all the tips and tricks!  Subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there.  It's free and you'll never miss a video.

Christmas Scottie Fun Fold

Today I'm sharing the most adorable card!  I'm featuring the Christmas Scottie Set, but if this set is on your list make sure you get the entire bundle.  The punch is so cute!  I didn't use the punch today but you'll want to have it for sure!  This bundle will not carry over so snag it in my Online Store while you can!  This card is also a fun fold card and one of my favorite fun folds.  It's simple and quick to make!  I stamped my images and fussy cut out the ribbon, two gifts and the pup.  I used my Stamparatus to stamp my pup multiple times to get a nice black image with my Memento Ink Pad.

The greeting and a couple of the gifts are stamped directly onto my Stitched Rectangle Die cut.  The images are all layered on that piece.  I used some Adhesive Backed Sequins for some extra sparkle!  My DSP is from the Sweetest Christmas DSP pack.  LOVE this one!  Such classic prints!

The fun fold comes in when you open it.  The top flap opens up to the top, then the diagonal flap opens to the side. This one is a fun twist on a regular card.  It's one of my favorites.  If you love a good fun fold, make sure you check out December's Card Crate, details will be out tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 8-Cottage Wreath Reese's Box

Before we get to today's super cut box, can we just talk about how we're already on week 8 of the Twelve Weeks of Christmas Series.  Only four weeks left!  How!!!?!?!  It's gonna go fast from here friends!  I hope you're ready!  Today I have a really cute box and I'm going to share some partial die cutting tips for you.  This is a fun box to make!

stampin up, cottage wreath

I love the tapered top to this box!  There's tabs inside the box to keep our treats safe and sound.  You might notice I'm using the Snowflake Vellum again.  I am hooked on this stuff!  I can't help it!  I've had it for a while but was waiting for Christmas projects to pull it out and now that it's out I think I'm using it on everything!  Grab a package or two or three!  This stuff is amazing!

stampin up, cottage wreaths

The tabs on the top of the box are partially die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies.  So what is partial die cutting?  It's when you strategically position your cutting plates to only cut the pieces of the dies that you want.  In this case, we only wanted to tabs trimmed, so the top cutting plate was put on the edge of the score line. Anything beyond the edge of the plate won't die cut.  Check out my video for more details on this.

I'm using the Cottage Wreaths Bundle for this box.  I love all the little accent stamps and dies in this bundle.  Plus there's some great basic greetings.  I stamped the sprigs, leaves and berries.  I die cut some gold leaves for some extra shine.  It's all layered on circles from the Stylish Shapes and Layering Circles Dies.

The box is finished up with some Iridescent Trim and some Pearlized Enamel Effects on the berries.  It's a quick step that adds so much!  In my box are four Reese's.  Yummy!

Box-Shaded Spruce 5 1/2" x 5 3/4"
On the long side score at 1 1/2" and 4 1/2"
On the short side score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 3 3/4" and 5"

Vellum pieces (4) 2 3/4" x 1"

DSP 5 1/2" x 1"

Check out my video for details on this box.  Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Caroling Mice Joy and Snowflakes

Can we take a moment and talk about why crafter keep all the scraps.  Sometimes when I'm crafting I'll cut, stamp, color or prep something that just doesn't work with the plan in my head.  Typically I save it all.  I have a bowl on my desk that stamped/colored images or die cut/punched pieces go into.  Every once in while I'll go through them and either get rid of them or usually I make something with them.  This card is put together with all scraps!  The only thing I purposely trimmed for this card was the Snowflake Vellum and Basic White layer.  The die cuts, punches stamped images, bow and even the card base were already prepped from other projects that didn't pan out.  I'm so glad they didn't because how. adorable. is. this. card!?

stampin up, caroling mice

Because I was able to pull this card together with scraps it was so quick and easy!  The mouse from the Caroling Mice Host Set was already stamped and fussy cut.  The greeting was already heat embossed.  The die cut oval was already cut and so was the Decorative Circle punch.  I added some color to my circle with Mint Macaron Ink and a Blending Brush.  The card needed some extra texture so I used the Snowflake Vellum, the velvety side for some amazing texture.  If you love that mouse, check out the entire Caroling Mice Set in the Mini Catalog.  This is a Host Exclusive Set, that means you can only purchase it with Stampin' Rewards, you can start earning Stampin' Rewards on your purchase when it gets to $150.  Contact me for more details and how you can earn this set!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.
