Make A Wish

I have a really cute card for you today showcasing the Broadway Bound Bundle! This is one of my favorite bundles in the Annual Catalog!  My favorite part of this bundle is the framelits.  You can make an entire card with just the framelits!  This card has minimal stamping!  For the background I started with the diamond border piece in the framelit and cut our rows and rows of diamonds.  Don't stress too much about getting them perfectly straight. I certainly didn't and I think it looks great.  It creates a fun subtle background that doesn't need to be perfect as the star of the card is that giant WISH!

I cut the 'wish' framelit from Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  To get that awesome silver metallic look on the bottom of it I simple brushed my VersaMark pad over the bottom half.  I did this lightly so that it would look a little splotchy especially in the middle where it fades out.  I love it!  I finished the card with some simple stamping from the Broadway Bound set in Gorgeous Grape.  So pretty and these colors are so fun together.  It's an unexpected combination of Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grape that seems to work!  Finally I finished the card with some of the new Silver Metallic Pearls.  So fun!  I'd love to get this in the mail!

Stitched All Around Bundle Of Sunshine!

The Poppy Parade card I made in a Facebook Live video on my business Facebook page.  LIKE me at Ruth's Stamping Corner.  I won't go into too many details on the card because it's all in the videos. I love the Stitched All Around Bundle though!  I love the rustic look of these cards.

In the video there's also a Flirty Flamingo card.  That card was mailed out before I got a chance to photograph it so you can see it in the video LOL!

Round About Giraffes

Last month I shared this sample with the Broadway Birthday Bundle using the same Round About Stamping Technique with the Stamparatus.  It's such a fun technique and makes for some really fun unique cards.  And you can use any stamp.  I used the giraffe from the Animal Outing set for this card and it's soooo cute!!!

Treat With Friends

Our last Treat time Sample is probably my favorite.  It uses the rounded top piece.  I love this unique look and there's a million ways you can add to it and jazz it up.  I stamped and cut a tag using the Treat Time set and framelits.  I added some gold sequin trim for sparkle and some burlap ribbon for texture.

The DSP I used is from the Tropical Escape package, which I think is my favorite one!  I love how unique these gifts are and they're fun and simple to make which makes it even better!

Scallop Topped Treats

Today's project with the Treat Time Bundle shows you the pouch with the straight top.  But I love that in the framelits you get these cute scallop pieces that you can add to your treat box.  Soooo cute!!  The tag is stamped with the Treat Time set and cut out with the tag framelit in the bundle.  This shows that you don't need anything extra, except paper to make this.  DSP works best for these pouches because they're thinner than cardstock and are easier to manipulate.  This sample uses the Tropical Escape DSP.

Heart Top Treat

Over the next 3 days I'm going to share with you some examples using the Treat Time Bundle.  This bundle is sooo much fun and make the cuuuteeest treats holders!  In addition the Treat Time Bundle I'm using the Tropical Escape DSP and Tropical Chic Bundle for today's treat holder.  The truly unique thing about the Treat Time Bundle are the framelits.  They come with the basic shape of the treat box, which if you've been around Stampin' Up! for a while you may have seen this treat shape refereed to a sour cream pouch.  With the Treat Time Bundle you get to choose the topper of your box.  Today I'm using the heart shaped one.  The framelits are designed that whichever topper you choose it snaps in like a puzzle piece to the basic frame of the pouch.  So cute! 

The heart one is so cute and unique!  I didn't add too much to it, I stamped the flower from the Tropical Chic set and cut it out along with some leaves.  The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greetings and fit perfectly with this one!  I have 2 more samples to show you, check back all week long!  We're exploring all the different toppers of the Treat Time Bundle!

Up House

I mentioned on Monday that I bought this set for one reason, to make THIS card! When I saw it all I could think of was the house from the Disney/Pixar movie Up.  If you haven't seen it you're missing out.  This little house was perfect for the Up house.  I added a chimney on this house, the stamp set doesn't include a chimney but in the movie that's where the balloons come out of.  So I used the flag image in the set and masked off the house and stamped the chimney.  You'd never know otherwise.  It looks so great!  

In the movie Carl and Ellie have an Adventure Book.  This greeting that's in the Treehouse Adventures set was soooo perfect for this card.  I stamped it on vellum and cut slits on either side of the balloons to tuck the vellum in and hide the adhesive.   I hope I've shown you this week all that you can do with the Treehouse Adventure set!  There's so many possibilities to this set, I didn't even make a treehouse! It's a must have set!

Lots Of Doors

In the Treehouse Adventure stamp set there's the tiny little door image.  This image is so cute and seeing it I immediately thought of Monsters Inc and all the different doors in that movie. So that's where this background started.  I randomly stamped doors everywhere.  There's no rhyme or reason to it, just stamped them.

I added a simple greeting to the card from the Itty Bitty Greetings set.  This is such a fun, sweet and cute card!  The colors are all so pretty together too.  The colors I used are Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape.

Diamond Thanks

While playing with the Treehouse Adventure set I kept looking at the roof image and figured out that stamping it twice will give you a lovely little diamond shape.  So that's what I did for card.  I repeatedly made diamond shapes using only the roof image of the stamp set.  I love the abstract look and all the overlapping diamonds on this card.  The colors I used are Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape. The greeting is from the Tropical Chic set.

Treehouse Adventure Week

All week long I'm sharing projects all made using the Treehouse Adventure stamp set! This set is so cute and I got it for one reason----you'll see that card on Thursday! But once I started using it I loved it soooo much I ended up with 4 incredible fun cards that all use the same colors and this one set.  The colors I used are Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape.  This is probably the best rainbow combination I've made!  I love it so much!!! 

For this card I repeatedly stamped the house in every color all over my cardstock.  I stamped the house image in the full strength ink, then all the other pieces of the house I stamped off on scratch paper to get lighter shade.  This is a great way to get a range of colors from one ink pad.  I finished the card with a greeting from Sunshine Sayings and some Granny Apple Green.  This would be such a cute card for a house warming.  I have lots more to share with this stamp set.  Check back all week long!

Tropical Chic

The Tropical Chic Bundle is a bundle I wasn't sure I'd love but now that I have it, I LOVE it!!!  I've made so many cards with it and it's truly a favorite! I love all the leaf framelits and I love cutting them out of all the new bright colors! I used Pineapple Punch, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst for all my leaves. 

Everything is mounted on a gold glimmer circle.  Did you know that our glimmer paper is new and improved.  No more glitter rubbing off on your hand! Our new glimmer paper has glitter that stays put plus it's thinner and easier to cut with our framelits and punches.  I finished this card with some gold metallic pearls.  So cute!

Love You To Pieces Class

Last night I held a specialty class where we focused only on this amazing bundle.  The Love You To Pieces Bundle is one of my favorites in the new catalog.  It's super affordable under $40 and there's soooo much you can do with it!!!  The guests at my class last night not only got to take home their own Love You To Pieces Bundle to play with immediately but they also got to make these 4 cards to jump start their creativity!

I love the colors on the first card! I love that the framelit comes with a piece to cut out all those cute puzzle pieces!!!  The second card is so cute and I love the simplicity of it! (Please ignore the sun glare on the card). I love pairing white and vanilla together, I don't think I do it enough!

The next card is a 4x4 square card and is super cute!  When you use the DSP as part of your main focal image the card comes together so quickly! This DSP is the Garden Impression DSP. 

Finally this is my favorite card! I love the colors I love the greeting I love it all!!!

Happy To Know You

With our DSP on sale this month I thought this was a great time to start using it.  This piece of DSP is from the Twinkle Twinkle package and it's probably one of my favorites in the package. I love the simple striped pattern of it.  In addition to the DSP I had an embossed piece of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, embossed with the Tufted Embossing folder (it's a must have by the way!).  For my greeting I used the new Friendly Expressions. 

I cut out the greeting using the Stitched Shapes Framelits then I fussy cut the 'ppy' on the happy.  I wanted the DSP to be flush against the greeting and unless I could cut those letters out it wouldn't happen otherwise.  Plus I love the way half the greeting hangs over the DSP, it's a fun and unique way to do it.  I mounted it on a scallop oval from the Layer Ovals Framelits and adhered the entire card together.

Elephant Kindness

While planning my cards for this month Little Elephant Class to Go kits I thought about using this cute card.  But I created 3 others that are super cute too!  So unfortunately this one didn't make the cut.  But that means that I get to share it with you here! Friendly Expressions In Lovely Lipstick

Let's talk for a minute about how perfect this color is.  Lovely Lipstick is a new In Color and it's the perfect mix between pink and red.  It's defiantly one of my favorites and I'll be reaching for it a lot! I love how perfectly the ribbon and the card coordinate. That is one of the best things about our amazing products.  The coordination is so perfect every time!  This card also features the new Subtle Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder makes our smooth card stock in to textured or even a linen look card stock!  So pretty!! Otter Fun

This little guy, I just can't get enough of!  He's so cute and adorable you just want to squeeze his cheeks!  I made a couple of these cards for a friend and I love how they came out. Of course I used Stampin' Blends to color him. 

The card is a tri-fold card so the top opens up, then the bottom.  It's such a simple and cute design. I embossed the bottom of the card with the Tufted Embossing folder.  The greeting is from the Little Elephant stamp set. 

I'm not the only one obsessed with otters right now.  Our local aquarium just opened a new river otter exhibit.  They're so cute in person too!!!!  I bet they'd love our new Postcard Pals set!

Postcard Pals Again

You guys this is my new favorite stamp set ever!  I seriously cannot put it down!  I've been creating more with this cute pelican and the even cuter otter (see him again tomorrow).  Today's card is pretty cute too though!!!  I love the pelican a lot more than I thought I would! The card is pretty simple, I cut him out and a scallop circle to mat him on with the Layering Circles framelits. 

I added an embossed greeting from the Itty Bitty Greetings set and added some of the Polka Dot ribbon to match the embossed polka dot background.  The pelican was colored with the Stampin' Blends and I'm happy to say ALL the colors are now in stock and I should have more colors to play with very soon!!!  YAY!!!!
