Today I have a really cute project to show you. I made this for Jennifer, another demo in our group---HI JENNIFER!!!! She's having a baby in just a few weeks. I found these really cute farm finger puppets at a Carter's outlet store, and thought of her since her nursery is farm themed. So I can't just stick them in a bag and give them to her, so I've seen these, or versions of these on a bunch of different blogs and websites. So I thought I'd give it a go and make up my own version.
The stroller is just a regular box with 4 scallop circle punches attached for the wheels, it's actually really easy.
The box is 4 x 5.5 score at 1 inch on all 4 sides. Cut the tabs and assemble.
The hood, (is that even the right word?) is the scallop circle die, attached with brads. You can play with it to decide how big you want it. I think mine is just shy of half of the circle.
The handle is just a scrap of cardstock with sticky strip on the inside to hold it in.
The wheels are the scallop circle, 1 1/4 inch circle and some build a brads, attached with dimensionals. So the wheels don't roll, but that's ok.
Before I assembled it I ran the box and scallop circle die through the bigshot to dry emboss it, then I used my sanding block and sanded it to give it more texture.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Short and Sweet
Cardstock: Ballet Blue, Night of Navy
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: Big Shot, Textured dies, Build a Brad, Scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 inch circle punch, 1/2 inch circle punch, scallop circle die, silver brads, sanding block, sticky strip, dimensionals
Thanks for looking, see you tomorrow!

This is so adorable! I really should go on SCS more and see all the cute stuff. However, i tend to stay on all day and not get anything done! lol
Oh my gosh, this is so cute! We've had six pregnancies on our team at work this year (that's right - six!) so I am starting to run out of ideas for gift. This is totally awesome and I am definitely taking a mental note to come back to this one! Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi Ruth, my niece is having a baby shower on Sat I told her I'd make a little baby carriage as a table decoration. I remembered seeing this post and found it again. Thanks for the great directions! I can't wait to get started. I keep checking to see if you had your baby yet. Good luck!
