One of my favorite sets in the Holiday Mini Catalog is the Nuts About Squirrels set. I'm so hooked on this set! I love all the projects I've seen with it and those little squirrels are toooo cute!!! Today's card is so cute and I used lots of leftover card supplies to make it. My Sweet Stocking DSP was already cut and I had lots of Old Olive card bases ready to go! I made a stack of these in no time.
The squirrel is stamped in Black Memento Ink. I filled in his fur with Cinnamon Cider and the acorn in Crumb Cake ink. The image are easy to line up, but if you find you're having trouble try using your Stamparatus. Especially if you're making a stack of them, the Stamparatus will give you perfect placement every time! I use a Blending Brush and some Crumb Cake ink to shade the outside of the scalloped rectangle a little. I love that rustic look. The card is finished with a simple greeting, some White Seam Binding Ribbon and some Matte Decorative Dots from the Mini Catalog. Such a cute card!!! I have a full supply list below.
