Love the Sweet Pea

I've kind of been hoarding my Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper. I can't help it though I love it too much. But I tend to have that problem alot though. I'll hoard the paper all year. Then before I know it it, it's retired and I have a stash of new paper. Well I'm really trying this year not to hoard the DSP. The Sweet Pea paper pack is SOOOO amazing. I love every pattern! I really do. When I do choose to use it on a project the decision of what pattern to use is so hard. I think that the pattern I used on this card has got to be one of my favorite though! It's the same paper, one side is striped and the other is the Pretty in Pink pattern. And I love all the colors in it!! Ok but enough about my paper addiction.
This card really is so pretty. I've seen these flowers made with the eyelet border punch all over and I couldn't wait to try one for myself. They're really easy to make and I love the look of it! I won't go into too many details of how I made it, Tami White has an amazing video on her blog that shows how to make them. So make sure you check that out!

Isn't it stunning though. I was actually surprised how fast I made it too. The sponging was the longest part and really that only took a minute or two.

Look at the detail in the DSP! I love SU, they have the BEST paper!!

Thanks for looking, see you tomorrow for Tutorial Tuesday and I have an AWESOME tutorial for you!!

Hi Ruth,
Love your beautiful card with the Sweet Pea paper -- have been hoarding mine, too, and really need to just cut into it and start creating! Thanks for the inspiration!!! And, love how you created the flower with the punched paper! Very clever!
Thanks so much for the sweet comment you left on my blog, too!
