Sneak Peek Little Monkey Pop Up Matchbox Slider Box-VIDEO

Oh my gosh! Is today's box the cutest or what!?! I'm loving this new Little Monkey Bundle. It's a punch bundle so if this is on your wish list get it quick. Punches are always quick to go. This one is adorable!!! I'm on the hunt for all the banana treats for this guy too. I know there are some Little Debbie banana treats but I have yet to locate them near me. If you have any other banana treat ideas let me know.

This box is so much fun and I promise whoever gets it will be so excited! The box is your typical matchbox slider box but we've stepped it up! Stay tuned! For added fun I added some ribbon for a fun 'pull' on the box. You can skip this step if you want but I think it adds just enough to put this box over the top!

I'm using so many new colors on this box. My monkey is punched with Pecan Pie, Bubble Bath and Crumb Cake Cardstocks. My bananas are the new Lemon Lolly. The heart is colored with Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends. And I have some Lemon Lime Twist in there too. I used Parakeet Party to color the leaves, I wanted them to pop off of the Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.

Here's the spectacular part of this box. When you pull it out the top panel pops up! It's all one mechanism and I'm completely amazed by it! It took me a couple of trial and errors but I finally got it and I'm soooo excited to share it!

Here's the side view. We're going to cut a hole in the top of the Lemon Lolly piece and adhere everything together! Make sure you check out the video for all the details. If you're still unsure about it test it out with some scrap paper before you cut into your good cardstock.

Inside my box is a mini banana nut muffin. YUM! I got a box of these at WalMart. The finished box is about 3" wide, 2" tall and 2 1/2" deep so it's a great size for lots of other treats!

Make your own box! I've included a picture of the box trimmed up, the other pieces aren't hard to trim but the box you do a fair amount of trimming so I wanted to include that. I used a 1/2" circle punch to add a tiny slot for my ribbon. Check the videos for details on how this whole thing comes together.
