My Favorite

Choosing my favorite project of the scrapbook weekend is never easy.  This time there were so many amazing cards!!!  Do you have a favorite yet???  You'll want to pick one, because I'm making another card like this, but in Rich Razzleberry and I will draw one winner and mail them that card!!!  To win the card, leave a comment on THIS post telling me what your favorite card or project has been over the last 2 weeks, before Friday July 11.  I'll post the winner on Monday July 14.  Remember you'll win a Rich Razzleberry one, that will be shown on Monday the 14th.
Back to the details of this card.  It is a card, and folds flat to mail.  Cool huh!!!?  Have you made any of the box cards yet?  I'm not sure who invented them but I love them.  This is my variation on it, inspired by this card.  To make the box card you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 8.5x5.5  On the long side score at 2, 4, 6, and 8.  On the short side score at 2.5.  Cut along the 2, 4, 6, and 8 inch score line until you get to the horizontal 2.5 inch line and you have the tabs for your box.  You'll put adhesive on the 1/2 tab on the 8.5 inch side and adhere the card.  That's the basic card.
I cut off 3 of the tabs, the front and the two sides.  I left the back, it makes the sky in the back.  I used oval framelits to get the curved edge.  I also added two tabs on the inside of my box, each measures 1x3, score the long side at 1/2 inch on each side and glue those to the inside of the box.  Those tabs are what's holding up the pillars of the castle.
There's lots of dimensionals and rhinestones to make it a beautiful castle.  I love this!!  I also used the new Sweet Taffy DSP, the Melon Mambo pattern, so pretty!!!  It's sitting on my desk and I love looking at it everyday!!!  So make sure to comment on your favorite card or project from the last 2 weeks, it can be any of the projects from the last 2 weeks, leave your comment by Friday and you could win your very own Rich Razzleberry Castle!!!
Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!

I love the Castle card. I have a granddaughter who loves castles, and princesses. I may have to sit down and make one myself. Thank you for the chance to win one. Blessings, MaryS

This is my favorite of the scrapbook weekend projects. I've liked all of them - so clever - but this is the best. Love it. I think Cinderella is second.

WOW! You have outdone yourself with this card Ruth! I loved all your projects, but I must admit, this one is my favorite. I've seen a lot of these cards, but never a castle,. Great job! Thanks for the measurements and the chance to win one of these.
