New In Colors and Cup Of Tea Sneak Peek!

I'm all about the sneak peeks lately! I'm having so much fun playing with the new products and more specifically the new In Colors. I wasn't sure how much I'd love all of them together but WOW! I can't stop using them! I added all of them to this adorable card featuring the new Cup Of Tea Bundle. This card is part of a challenge for my team. I mailed everyone on my team a sampling of all five of the new In Colors. Their challenge is to create a project with at least two of the new colors. They can use them all but if they want but they have to at least use two. I used them all, along with lots of coordinating In Color products.

I die cut tea cups in all the In Colors. To add even more detail to them I die cut a fancy detailed die from the new Blossoming Happiness Dies (these dies are the dies that are in the Happiness Abounds Bundle). After I had the fancy detail cut I die cut another tea cup to get that amazing detail. I adhered them together tone on tone. The detail is amazing! I stacked up my cups and added them a piece of Basic White that I added a notebook die cut border to also with the Blossoming Happiness Dies. To finish each cup, I die cut a flower from the Sending Dies in coordinating Glimmer Paper. Finally I added an In Color Dot to the center of each flower. So pretty!!! I love this card!!!

Happiness Abounds Another Sneak Peek!

I'm back sharing another beautiful sneak peek of the Happiness Abounds Bundle! I shared a card on Monday using this new Bundle. I love it! This card is a little simpler but still soooo gorgeous! I'm still using some sneak peek colors and DSP and some new In Color Baker's Twine-you guys I'm in LOVE with this twin! I'll be stocking up on this for sure! I used the new Starry Sky for my card base and the coordinating baker's twine. That amazing notebook border was cut using one of the border dies from the Happiness Abounds Bundles. LOVE!

My flower is colored with Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends and my leafs are colored with Parakeet Party Stampin' Blends. My DSP a new pack called Perfectly Penciled. SNEAK PEEK! Cup Of Tea Bundle Impossible Box-VIDEO

Today I'm sharing an impossible box. These boxes are so much fun, but they can be a little tricky to make but I'm hoping I can break down all the details and tips and tricks for you today. It's been a while since I've made an impossible box, think the last time I've made one was way back in 2018 here. Today I'm sharing an adorable box with some new sneak peek products! I'm sharing a sneak peek of the new Cup Of Tea Bundle and the Tea Boutique DSP. This box is a perfect comfort gift for a friend but it would also make a great party favor for a tea party. This box will take nearly a full sheet of cardstock to make and it's a little more involved so if I had to make 100 boxes I might go with something a little quicker. But whoever you give this box to will be amazed by your genius! This bundle is one of my favorites! I love the dies! I used the dies to add details to the cup and the lemon, so cute! For easy adhering use an adhesive sheet on the back of your cardstock before die cutting with the detailed die cuts.

I can't explain the science or how the mechanics of this box work but the lid slides up to open the box, or you push it down to close the box. It's so ingenious! I don't know who came up with this box, I've seen variations of them everywhere. I used to make this box using the envelope punch board. I was reminded how to make this box by fellow demonstrator Julie DiMatteo. I've followed here process but modified my measurements to fit my treat. Inside my box are a couple of tea bags and a Hostess Lemon Bundt Cake. The perfect little tea time snack! I've used some ribbon to tie around my cake. I realized it was challenging to get the little cake in and out and it needed a little handle of sorts. I used the Frayed White Ribbon. Depending on your tea bags, you might have to fold the top to fit it in the box.

Measurements listed below. You can refer to this picture for a trimming guide. Make sure you check out my video for all the details on this box though. There are a few tips and tricks you'll want to know.

Box-7 1/2" x 10 1/2"

On the short side score at 1 1/2", 4", 5 1/4" and 6 1/2"

On the long side (with the 1 1/2" section on the bottom) score at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10"

Fold the second score line on the top and make marks on the long side at 1 1/4", 3 34/", 6 1/4" and 8 3/4"

DSP-1 1/2" x 2 1/4" four pieces

3/4" x 2 1/4" four pieces

Let's jump into this card! I'm using a new bundle, Happiness Abounds. This bundle has gorgeous line art florals that you can color, gorgeous greetings-so many of them! Plus it's part of a suit of products where the dies from the bundle will also cut out the flowers in the DSP. (Coordinating DSP not used on this card) I'm also using two new DSP packs. The plaid is from our color family 2022-2024 In Color DSP. The striped DSP is from the Tea Boutique pack. Both amazing! Both work so well together!

For my flowers I used Stampin' Blends to color them. I used Daffodil Delight for the yellow flower. For my leaves and my other flower I pulled in new In Color Stampin' Blends. The leaves are in Parakeet Party and the flower is Sweet Sorbet. I am just in love with all of the new In Colors! The more I use them the more I love them! Did you notice the card base? That's a new In Color too Orchid Oasis! So pretty!!! Finally my last sneak peek item on this card is the Glossy Dots. These are soooo gorgeous! I can't get enough of them! Ink Blended Penned Flowers

Very often on my desk I have lots of parts and pieces from other projects just lying around. I try to 'declutter' my extra pieces every once and a while. This is one of my decluttered card. The card base, which is textured with Embossing Paste and a mask is from one project the flowers were from another. For my card base I colored some of our Embossing Paste with So Saffron Refill and then used the retiring Basic Patterns Masks to spread it on and create the gorgeous background. I really love Embossing Paste and don't use it nearly enough.

For my flowers I had a piece of cardstock that I had ink blending Polished Pink, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana onto. I die cut it with the Penned Flowers Dies. The greeting is from the Quiet Meadow Set. I finished the card with some Linen Thread and Iridescent Rhinestones. I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Abstract Beauty Box with Happiness Abounds Sneak Peek-VIDEO

Today's box is soooo pretty! I'm using a new set, a set from the Mini Catalog and an older set from the Annual Catalog (not retiring!). I pulled out all the sets for this box and it's so worth it! The card base is made from the Abstract Beauty Cards and Envelopes. I used one of the card bases and changed it up to make a clam-shell type box.

I love altering card bases, the Abstract Beauty Cards are so pretty! They have a fun watercolor look to them which I love! I used one of the Night of Navy bases for this box, in my video we're using a Magenta Madness card base, I'm excited to see that one! Along with the Abstract Beauty Cards we're also using the DSP in that suite. I love the pops of gold in it! I also pulled out the Beautiful Shapes Dies from that suite too!

My flower is new and from the Happiness Abounds Bundle. This bundle is soooo gorgeous! It also has coordinating DSP that is so stunning! My leaves are from the Lovely You Set in the retiring Annual Catalog. This set isn't retiring though, I'm so glad! The greeting is from the Happy and Heartfelt Set in the Mini Catalog, though the greetings in the Happiness Abounds Set or the Lovely You Set would work great too! I finished my box with some Gold Shimmer Ribbon and a Brass Butterfly!

To make the box you'll need one of the cards from the Abstract Beauty Cards and Envelopes. Trim it to 7 1/4" x 5" (trim off the back of the card not the front)

Place in your Simply Scored with the card front on the left. Score long side at 3/4", 3 1/4" and 6 1/2" (you should have a score line already there at the 4" mark)

Turn and score the short side at 3/4" each side

If you're using a piece of cardstock and not a card for your box, you'll need to score the long side at 3/4", 3 1/4", 4" and 6 1/2". Score the short side at 3/4" each side.

DSP 1 1/4" x 6 and 1 1/4" x 3 1/2"

Spring and Summer Favorites Class

Over the weekend I held my April in person class. This class was themed Spring and Summer Favorites! We got to use lots of florals, tropicals and beautiful colors! Planning classes during a retirement sale is always a challenge. None of the products I'm using are on the Last Chance List. The first card uses the Artfully Layered Bundle and the Artfully Composted DSP. Both in the Mini Catalog, both amazing products! I love the bright tropical feel to this card!

The next card also uses a Mini Catalog product. This one is the Blessings Of Home Set. We didn't use the coordinating dies on this card but make sure you get this as a bundle because it's so gorgeous!!!

Also from the Mini Catalog is the Wildflower Path Set. I love the soft water colored look from this set. this is the perfect spring card!

I grabbed my Poppy Moments Dies for the next card. Friday I shared another card featuring this these dies. I love how they're stand alone dies and make such a beautiful card!

Finally, last but not least! I gave my guests a fun sneak peek of a new set. This is the NEW Good Feelings Set. This set will be in the next Annual Catalog. I paired up the set with the Flowering Fields DSP from the Mini Catalog and it's a gorgeous card!

Poppy Moments Card

Today's card is gorgeous! I love the simplicity of it and I'm going to share some hacks to make adhering those flowers a breeze! I love the colors on this card. I've been using Flirty Flamingo a ton lately! It's become one of my go to colors lately. I think it's a chameleon of the pink family. When paired up with another pink or orange shade it looks more orange like in this card. But when you pair it with a blue or blue-green it looks way more pink. I think that's what I love about this color. It's so versatile!

The Poppy Moments Dies have been around a while and I need to pull them out more because they're gorgeous! I love the tone on tone flowers, the layers add so much dimension. So what's my hack? You've heard me say it before, Adhesive Sheets! Before die cutting the details of the flowers and leaves add an adhesive sheet to the back of your cardstock THEN die cut it. Then you basically have a cardstock stick and adhering it to the flower is easy peasy! No messy glue, no sticky mess!
