Valentine's Balloon

Have you had a chance to look at the new Occasions Mini Catalog? Isn't it just gorgeous!!!? I know I love it. Especially the fabric. I can't wait to get more. I have so many projects jumbling around in my head right now. I may need to work on my own sewing skills though. I don't think my Mom will be willing or have the time to make them all for me :)

Today's card started out as what I thought would be Dan's anniversary card, but as it started to progress I thought-this is a much better Valentine's Day card instead. These are the new rub ons in the Mini Catalog. I haven't used rub ons in soooo long. I just haven't bought any with the new catalogs. Stampin' Up! sent these to demonstrators for FREE!!! Just another FANTASTIC perk of being a SU demonstrator!! So I was set on using them. After all they were a gift :) I love them and I'm so glad I used them-they may even inspire me to get some more rub ons :) I love how easy and fast the rub-ons are to use on projects!

I stamped some hearts from the I {heart} Hearts set as a quick background. And I stamped the greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set but everything else is a rub-on. Doesn't it look great!?!

I love the ribbon on this card too! I LOVE all our satin ribbon-which reminds me I need to get more of it :) So if you've never tried SU rub ons I highly recommend them and if it's been a while since you have used them (like me) get some out and learn again why you love them :)
