Merry and Bright

So no baby to report. If you read my last post you'll know that I wasn't induced and that there probably won't be an induction in the near future. It gives me some more time to get a few more things done and it's letting baby cook for a little longer which is probably best. I'm down to about 4 1/2 weeks to my due date now and after this weekend when I'll be 36 weeks baby can come anytime. So if any of you out there know any great tips for naturally starting labor I'm all for hearing them. With Logan I was 10 days late, I won't go that late with this one my Dr has already informed me. But with Logan I was so tired of being pregnant and the back yard just wasn't looking good, too many over grown weeds. So I spent an hour or so pulling weeds and the next thing I knew I was in labor. So I might be doing some extra physical activities in the coming weeks hoping that will encourage baby to come. I told Dan last night that I wanted him to bring me some Dark Chocolate Chip Truffles from See's Candy while I'm in the hospital and he just couldn't stop laughing.....hmmmm I'd do it for him. He WILL be making a trip to the Route 66 Diner down the street from the hospital (it's literally like 3 blocks away) to get me a green chile cheeseburger and fries though. I've actually been craving burgers and fries for months but with this special diet I'm on and beef not so much agreeing with baby I haven't had any, maybe 1 or 2 but I couldn't enjoy them since I would feel sick after. So I'm so looking forward to eating 'normally' again after baby comes. I better move on to the card to for today or I could go on and on and on about what foods I've missed.

I love today's card. It's so simple and shows how awesome the new snowflake embossing folder in the mini catalog is. And while we're on that, I think I've been calling it the snowflake embossing folder in all my posts and the actual name of it is the Northern Flurry Folder. Just in case people are looking for it, you probably won't find it under 'snowflake folder' :)

Isn't this card pretty.

So simple and so pretty. I embossed the Bashful Blue cardstock with the folder then sponged white craft ink over the snowflakes. It's so simple. You could make a hundred of them in no time! I added pearls to the center of the snowflakes and attached it to a Marina Mist card. So easy, I'm telling you-go try it today!
I just love it. I have a few more projects that I need to post about and hopefully I can find time to stamp this week. I'm ahead of schedule now that I didn't get induced. The bag is still packed, my licence is renewed, the baby's room is ready. I would like to start our Christmas cards like I keep claiming I'll do, but I keep finding other things to stamp. But the only other thing that I would love to do is get a gift for Dan, but I have no idea what to get him. If you have any idea for 'Daddy again' gift I'm open to suggestions. With Logan I gave him a new baby survival kit, which was so cute and I think he still has it. I'm hoping to have a productive stamping week. I should be getting a new order in this week too so I'm super excited about that!! Can't wait to show you all my new toys!
