First Monday Card Challenge and Stamp Camp Highlights

Sale-a-Bration started yesterday. Check out all the details on Sale-a-Bration on the right side of my blog. If you would like to host a workshop please call me to set it up. Now on to the post of the day....

Before we get to the project of the day, here's a few highlights from stamp camp over the weekend. We had 15 demonstrators and thier guests there. We had about 45 guests come, so much fun.

Here everyone is stamping....the demonstrators helping are in the pink shirts.

Here's the 5 projects that they got to make.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this card. How cute, some guests got the owl and some got the bird chip board. ALL were cute!

This is our new box die for the big shot!

Sorry for the blurry picture, not sure what happened there....but it's such a cute bag made with the top note die.

So cute!

Love this one. The ovals on the top and bottom top note are for photos. Love it, just need to find some photos now....

So on to the First Monday Card Challenge....

If you remember a month ago I said that I would start doing a card challenge with my 2 year old son who loves to stamp. So it's that time again.

This month we decided to make a box instead of a card. We used the box #2 die for the big shot. He loves to help with the big shot. I made my box first then set it aside so he couldn't see it and let him make his. We used white cardstock for the box, Black, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose ink pads, The stamp set Always, and some Regal Rose Ribbon-oh and glitter-of course! The only thing I did on Logan's box was help him assemble his box and help him tie his ribbon, otherwise he did everything else. We were both covered in glitter by the end but it just added to our already sparkling personalities.

So here's what we did......

Front of our boxes....

Logan was more excited to get to the glitter so he didn't spend much time actually stamping. He chose to only use the regal rose ink too. He then covered up most of the glitter with the ribbon.

And the back.

Over all Logan did really well and is very proud of his box. Next month maybe we'll try some more manly colors. It did occur to me when he was making his box that the colors were a tad on the girly side. Next month I'll have a TON of new stuff so it should be good!

Thanks for looking, see you tomorrow for tutorial Tuesday! I'll be showing you how to make the stand up explosion card from this post.

See you tomorrow!
