Fresh Start

If you've been waiting for the Trucking Along Bundle to return to the Online Store, it's almost time!  This bundle is scheduled to be back in stock the week of October 9, keep checking early though, sometimes things come into stock early.  I have another fun card to share with you featuring this set.  I used strips of cardstock in Copper Clay, Old Olive and Crushed Curry to cover the card front of my card.  These were all just scraps of varying widths that I trimmed to 4 1/4" long and just adhered them to the front of the card.  This is a fun way to use scraps and make a great background.  To make my truck pop I added a die cut circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and some Vellum.

My truck is stamped in Copper Clay, then filled in with the solid truck image and stamped with Copper Clay, stamped off once.  I used Stampin' Blends to color the wheels and sunflowers in the bed of truck.  I always add a touch of Pool Party to the windows for a finishing effect.  I finished the card with some Linen Thread and In Color Dots.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Check for the Trucking Along Bundle the week of October 9, or before.  The stamp set is available now in my Online Store.

My greeting is from the Everyday Thanks Set.  I love this simple greeting.  I kept my colors bold with a pop of Bubble Bath.  The Black DSP and Azure Afternoon are amazing, I love Bubble Bath paired up, it is my favorite new color and it goes with everything!

The Gorgeously Made Dies are a great set to have.  Put this one in your stash.  I used some Azure Afternoon Ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo. It adds a fun touch to the slider.

Why is it a slider?  When you pull the ribbon up, your treat slides right out! So fun!  I found these wafer cookies at Sam's Club.  They're affordable, especially if you're making a bunch of these.

Autumn Is Beautiful

If you loved the Autumn Leaves Box I shared with you yesterday, you'll love this one too.  I went with some more traditional fall like colors for this card.  I absolutely love this greeting, "Autumn teaches us that change can be beautiful"  Isn't that great!?!  I know that I struggle with change of any kind so this is a great reminder that not all change is bad, sometimes it can lead to wonderful things.

The DSP is from the Garden Walk DSP and my colors for the card are chosen directly from the DSP.  I stamped leaves in Pretty Peacock and Poppy Parade and die cut leaves from Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat.  The detail on the leaves was die cut from the Rose Gold Foil Paper, available in my Online Store.  Make sure you use an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the leaf detail before die cutting.  This will make adhering it soooo easy!!!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Autumn Leaves Cupcake Box-VIDEO

Today I'm sharing a gorgeous box!  This one gives me all the autumn vibes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bright autumn color combination!  So pretty!!!  At the store over the weekend I found some pumpkin Hostess Cupcakes.  I love these.  They're yummy and make great gifts!  I wanted to make a box with them and I started thinking about the box.  I've made LOTS of cupcake boxes and so instead of reinventing the wheel I decided to look back and use of my designs just redone.  I found this post and I love this box so I ran with it!

I pulled my color combo from the Glorious Gingham DSP.  I added a pop of Pumpkin Pie because I thought it needed it but other wise the Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Pecan Pie was inspired by the DSP.  I stamped two of the leaves and used Early Espresso for the veining in the leaves.  This set stamps so beautifully!

The labels is die from the coordinating Autumn Leaves Dies.  I embellished my box with some Pecan Pie Ribbon and Neutral Sequins.  The box is quick to put together and there's no glue or trimming. You can store them flat then assemble them when you need to give them away.  This would make a great birthday gift too. The box is a good size so you can fit lots of gifts in it.

Inside is my Hostess Pumpkin Cupcake.  If you can't find these any of the Hostess/Little Debbie/Entemanns cupcakes will fit perfectly!  Bookmark this design and use it all year long.

Alphabet A La Mode Thanks

If I had to choose a Designer Series Paper in the Mini Catalog that I could use over and over and over again it would be the Garden Walk DSP.  This DSP is gorgeous!  They're colors that I would never choose on my own but in the DSP they look amazing!  The patterns are gorgeous and they span the entire year from soft and springy to muted and fall like to Christmas.  Just a stunner!

stampin up, garden walk

With the DSP as the star of this card I wanted to keep everything else simple.  I added a greeting using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies.  I wasn't sure I needed these dies but now that I have them I'll be using them all the time!  They're definitely worth the investment!  Make sure you add an adhesive sheet on the back of the cardstock before you die cut it for easy, effortless and mess free gluing!  I finished the card with some Brass Butterflies.  Quick, easy and stunning!  This is a card you could mass produce.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

More Wishes and Tiny Christmas Trees!

Do love shiny and sparkly Christmas cards?  I have the card for you!  This is such an amazing card and I'm so excited to share it with you!  I used the Holographic paper for so much added shine it looks different from every angle.  It's amazing!  I used the Tiny Christmas Tree Die to die cut my Holographic Paper for the background.  Behind the Holographic Paper is the Textured Shimmer Paper which adds even more sparkle!  Finally for an extra dose of sparkle I used the new Glitter Sequins which are incredible!

For my greeting and focal image, I didn't want to distract from the background so I kept it simple with the More Wishes Set.  I used lots of bold and bright colors to pick up the colors from the Holographic Paper.  It's an amazing card!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Disco Happy Dance

Today I have a card that has so many layers, so many techniques and so much gold!  This is card I think I would make once and only send it to a super special person.  These cards are always so much fun to make and this one was no exception the more I added the more I loved it!  I'm going to try to break it down step by step.  I started with the Curved Occasions BundleI stamped the disco ball on Basic White in Memento Black and colored it with ink and Mini Blending Brushes.  My ink colors are all listed below.  Take your time it's worth it!  I also used the disco ball to stamp the Melon Mambo Background piece.

stampin up, curved occasions

On top of the Melon Mambo Background is a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock and Zoo Crew DSP.  Then there's a layer of Basic Black and the piece that is the showstopper of this card.   I started by lightly ink blending the background, with the intention of stamping the Rays Of Light stamp over it.  So I concentrated the yellows in the center and worked out from there.  Let your piece completely dry, or use a heat tool then stamp and clear heat emboss the Rays Of Light Set over it.  You'd think that would be enough but it's not, then I went in with ANOTHER layer of ink blending over the embossed areas.  That makes some rays darker and some lighter adding to more texture.

stampin up, curved occasions

After all that I still felt like it needed something so I used a sponge and added some of the Tombow Liquid Glue around the edges of the ink blended piece.  Let the glue dry completely and then add the Gilded Leafing over it.  The Gilded Leafing will stick to the now tacky dried glue and leave you with a spectacular background.  For more gold accents I added gold twine from the Simply Elegant Trim and some gold stars from the More Dazzle paper and the Give It A Whirl Dies.  I finished the card with a white heat embossed greeting and called it a day.  Whew!  It's a show stopper for sure.  My basic measurements are below.   I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Orchid Oasis 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score long side at 4 1/4"
