Poppy Moments Card

Today's card is gorgeous!  I love the simplicity of it and I'm going to share some hacks to make adhering those flowers a breeze!  I love the colors on this card.  I've been using Flirty Flamingo a ton lately!  It's become one of my go to colors lately.  I think it's a chameleon of the pink family.  When paired up with another pink or orange shade it looks more orange like in this card.  But when you pair it with a blue or blue-green it looks way more pink.  I think that's what I love about this color.  It's so versatile!  

The Poppy Moments Dies have been around a while and I need to pull them out more because they're gorgeous!  I love the tone on tone flowers, the layers add so much dimension.  So what's my hack?  You've heard me say it before, Adhesive Sheets!  Before die cutting the details of the flowers and leaves add an adhesive sheet to the back of your cardstock THEN die cut it.  Then you basically have a cardstock stick and adhering it to the flower is easy peasy!  No messy glue, no sticky mess!  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Ladybug Matchbox Slider-VIDEO

Have you seen the adorable Lindt chocolate ladybugs and bees?  They come in the same package and they're so cute!  Perfect for spring!  I loved them and had to create a box with them.  I'm pulling out my Hello Ladybug Bundle again!  This bundle is so good!  I don't think it's left my work space for weeks!  I'm loving all the adorable ladybug creations!  

This box is a matchbox slider so it's easy to make a bunch of these and you can get four boxes per sheet of cardstock!  Even better!  I love Daffodil Delight and Real Red paired up together!  I'm featuring the ladybug on my box but you could always reverse the colors and make a bee with the Ladybug Punch.  Check out this project for details on the bee.  If I made the bee I'd probably change my box and flower to Real Red then maybe use a Daffodil Delight or White Ribbon.  

My flowers are from the Hello Ladybug Set, there isn't a punch or dies for these so you have to fussy cut them.  If you're not a fussy cutting fan look at your dies and punches and see if you have similar sized flowers to use.  I added some Iridescent Rhinestones on the centers of all my flowers.  I love the way the Iridescent Rhinestone pick up the colors around it.  So pretty!!!

My box slides open and inside you can fit one of each of the chocolates or you can do two of either the ladybug or bee.  Either way it's sooo cute!!!  I have full details in my video.  Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Hello Ladybug Money Holder

I'm pulling out my Ladybug Punch for another cute project!  This one was inspired by a fellow demonstrator, Marisa.  I love this amazing gift holder, especially as we head into graduation and wedding season.  This holder will hold a check or cash perfectly, you can also put a gift card in there too.  Perfect for any occasion.  I used the Hello Ladybug Bundle for the images and the greeting is from the Kite Delight Set.  

The flowers and the leaf are fussy cut from the set, the punch will punch out your ladybug and her wings.  I finished my project with some Pale Papaya Ribbon and Genial Gems, both are retiring so add those to your next order before they sell out!  Also retiring is the beautiful DSP!  This is the Expressions In Ink pack.  I love this one, I didn't use it enough.  Pick up a package before it retires.  

The holder is easy to make, you'll need cardstock that is 6 3/4" x 7

On the long side score at 2" and 5"

Adhere one side to the middle section, I used a stapler and covered my staples with the DSP.  This creates your pocket.  I used small button magnets to keep my holder closed but you could use velcro, ribbon or a belly band. Bunny Basket and Flower With the Ladybug Punch-VIDEO

Today I have a quick and CUTE Easter basket to share with you.  This one is perfect for those fun Lindt mini chocolate bunnies/chicks/lambs etc.   The flower on the front is the perfect accent, you could also use any dies you have that make fun flowers too.  This flower is so fun and it's made with the Ladybug Punch!  I love a punch with so many purposes!  The Ladybug Punch is a fantastic Punch to have in your stash.  

My basket handle is held on with some brads.  I love the look but you could also use a strong adhesive as well.  The basket is made with the Seasonal Labels Dies and a small box inside.  It's a quick way to make a fun basket.  I tied some the Petal Pink Cotton ribbon on my handle for some extra texture, this cotton ribbon is so amazing and soft!  

To secure my bunny in the basket I put a couple of glue dots on the bottom of him.  You could also add some fun Easter grass or shredded paper to fill out the basket.  The greeting is from two sets, I used the 'happy' from the Art Gallery Set and the Easter from the Easter Friends set.  I finished my flower with a heart from the Give It a Whirl Dies and some Brass Butterflies.

Abstract Beauty Challenge-My Card

On Monday I shared some of my teams cards for the challenge I gave them this month.  I sent all of my team a Magneta Madness card base and four sheets of the Abstract Beauty DSP.  Their challenge was to make a card with the card base and at least one of the sheets of DSP.  You can check out all of their amazing cards here.  I always play along in the challenges I give my team so here's my card.   In addition to the DSP pieces I also added in lots of fun elements from the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack.

I cut strips of my DSP in varying widths and just adhered them to my card base.  To tone down some of the busy DSP I added some vellum.  All of the images as well as the banners and frames are from the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack. I LOVE this pack.  It's such a fun and quick way to add lots of extra accents to your projects.  I finished my card with a little stamping with the Hello Beautiful Set.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Timeless Tulips Tag Topper Box-VIDEO

I have an adorable Easter treat box for you today.  If you wanted to use this for another occasion other than Easter just change up the greeting.  I'm using lots of retiring products for this box today, at the time of typing this post the products were still available.  Products are only available while supplies last so don't wait to purchase if these are some of your favorites!  These products are also discounted to some amazing deals!  The Timeless Tulips set is discounted 20% get it for only $14.80.  The Delightful Tag Topper Punch is discounted 20% get it for only $18.40.  The Tasteful Labels Dies are discounted 20% get it for only $24.80. This box is so cute!  It has a fun top that is held together with ribbon.  You can get two of these boxes from an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock so it's a great box to make multiples of.   The flowers, stems and leaves are fussy cut but they're easy to fussy cut so it goes quickly.  

The Flowering Fields DSP is so pretty!  It's one of my favorites!  This pattern especially is gorgeous!  I used the colors in the DSP for my flowers.  I love the layered look of all the die cut pieces and the flowers.  I finished the box with some Opal Rounds.  These are so pretty!!  

Inside my box is a Hershey's Cookies and Cream Bunny.  I got some these at Target but this is a pretty common treat this time of year check your local discount stores.  The box is made from Thick Basic White.  If you use White for a box base make sure you use the thick, it's much more sturdy and will hold together better.
