Bunny Punch Art Featuring The Ladybug Punch-VIDEO

I'm so excited to share this sweet box with you!  It's soooo cute!  I have to start off and say that this idea for the punched bunny was not my original idea, though I wish it was because it's so cute!  I saw this from Angie Juda, fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  The bunny is made from two different punches, the body is the Ladybug Punch, simply trim off the antenna.  The ears are from the Medium Daisy Punch, simply trim two petals.  Sooooo cute!!!

If the bunny wasn't cute enough, I punched him out of our Mother Of Pearl Paper.  This paper is glitzy and glossy, sooo pretty!  Anytime you need a little extra punch of shimmer this is a great option!  The tail is die cut from the Floral Squares dies with the Supplie Shimmer Paper.  Another fun pop of sparkle!   I added a simple greeting from the Cactus Cuties Set.

My box is super fun and really simple!  Win! Win!! I made a quick box and adhered tags, die cut from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, to the front and back.  This makes a fun box.  Inside are two Ghiradelli Bunnies.  These bunnies are everywhere right now.  I've seen them at Target, Walgreens and Sam's Club which is where I got mine.

Let's Hear It For The Boys Class

Over the weekend I held my March in person class.  I hold an in person class once a month for my local friends.  If you're in the Albuquerque, NM area I'd love to welcome you to one of my classes.  Contact me for details on my next one.  This month my class was "Let's Hear It For The Boys-Masculine Cards".   I get a lot of requests for masculine cards but I struggle with them.  Almost 19 years into this demonstrator thing and I STILL struggle with masculine cards.  I'm so comfortable grabbing glitter and rhinestones and that doesn't speak to men so much.  But I came up with five pretty amazing cards that I think would work great for any guy in your life.  I don't have a supply list for these cards.  That's a perk for only my guests at my class.  These products are all available in my Online Store.

First is this fun Daffodil Delight/Basic Black card.  This is a simple card and easy to make a ton of.  The DSP is really doing all the work.  Both DSP packs are available only for a limited time.  The All Together DSP and the Waves of the Ocean DSP are available only while supplies last.

My next card uses the Let's Set Sail Bundle from the mini catalog.  I love this bundle paired up with the Waves of the Ocean DSP too.  Such a good combo!

The next card is maybe my favorite.  I used the Wildlife Wonder Set from the Mini Catalog.  I love the details in the stamps.  There's so much amazing texture just from one stamp, one ink.  Amazing!

stampin up

This card is so fun because it's a fun fold.  I'm a sucker for a good fun fold.  There's a lot to love with this one, the angled front and the mini card inside.  LOVE!!!

Next up is a card with the Hats Off Bundle in the Annual Catalog.  If you need a good masculine set.  I LOVE this one.  The die cut detail in the hat and all the different fronts you can put on the hat are amazing.  I love the stitching, such a realistic look!

Finally the last card, this is another fun fol.  I used the Forever Fern Set and coordinating dies along with the Inspired Thoughts set for my greeting.  Lots of great DSP on this card too.  I love all of these cards!  Join me in April for my next class!

Artfully Layered Birthday

Today's card is beautifully simple.  This would be a gorgeous card in so many different color combinations.  I would consider this a more masculine card, but think about shades of pink or purple for this card.  That would be a pretty stunning card!  I had these pieces already die cut in my left over parts and pieces bowl and wanted to get them on a card.  I added a simple greeting and added it to a card base.

stampin up, artfully layered

To add some extra texture to the card I used one of the masks from the Butterflies and Flowers Masks to add some tone on tone patterns to the Crumb Cake background.  This is an easy step that only takes a couple minutes but the impact is huge!  It's a gorgeous element!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Art Gallery Easter Box-VIDEO

I have an adorable box to share with you today.  Last week at Target I stocked up on Easter candy.  I must have gotten about 6 different kinds of candy so I'm so excited to create lots of treat boxes with my stash!  Today's box is a fun Easter treat that features the Art Gallery Bundle.  This month only save 20% on this bundle!
stampin up, art gallery

This is a gorgeous bundle.  I love the layering images.  I wanted my image to have lots of different color and dimension.  There's a couple way that you can do this, one is to use Stampin' Write Markers to color the stamp.  I don't love this technique for this bundle because it's a photopolymer stamp.  The photopolymer stamps don't stamp great when colored with markers so for my project I stamped the leaf image three times.  Once in Shaded Spruce for the leaf and stems, once with Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo for the flower images and once with Flirty Flamingo for the buds.  It's a lot of stamping and you have to run the die through the die cutting machine three times but it's completely worth it.

stampin up, art gallery

After I had all three of my stamped images I cut the flowers apart and adhered them to leaf/stem images.  I did the same with my bud piece.  This is a fancy way of doing paper piercing but the end results are worth it and it really doesn't take too much longer.  I layered my flowers on some labels from the Seasonal Labels Dies.  I used the Greenery Embossing Folder for the Flirty Flaming tag.  For my greeting I used the 'happy' from the 'Happy Birthday' greeting in the Art Gallery Set.  I die cut 'Easter' from the Word Wishes Dies.  I love the pairing of textures and fonts.

To make the box-Shaded Spruce
10 1/2" x 3 1/4"
On the short side score at 3/4" each side
On the long side score at 2", 2 3/4", 6 1/4" and 7" mark each side at 4 3/4" to the horizontal score line

I used a velcro dot to keep my box closed.  You could use a magnet too.  Inside my box is a Reece's bunny.  This is a pretty large bunny too.  I'll share the packaging in the video.  They came in a four pack.  For all the details check out my video.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Party Puffins Birthday

I have a really fun card for you today!  This one is quick and fun to make.  There is a little fussy cutting but you could stamp everything on a larger circle and eliminate all fussy cutting.  I have a bowl on my desk that I keep scraps, stamped images, die cut pieces or leftover card supplies in.  My bowl was starting to over flow so I decided it was time to sit down and finish off some cards.  All the stamped images on here, (except the cake and greeting) were in my bowl as well as the die cut hearts.  All I needed to do was a greeting and card base.

stampin up, party puffins

I stamped the fish on the card base for a little extra texture.  I added a piece of Vellum and some Pool Party and Basic Black Cardstock for some pops of color.  All the hard work for this card was done because of my parts and pieces bowl.  The puffin, fish and cake were stamped in Memento and colored with Stampin' Blends. I added a quick greeting and the card was finsihed.  Watch for more cards over the next couple of weeks made with pieces from my parts and pieces bowls.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Measure Of Love Top Hinge Box-VIDEO

Today's box is one of my favorites!  Not because this cute set is one of my favorites, because it is.  Not because this color combo is one of my favorites, because it is.  Not because this box is so versatile, because it is.   I love this box because of the fun treat I found to put in it.  I'll share more about that in a minute.  This box is soooo cute!  It is a pretty big box too, so even if you don't want to put what I put inside you can fit so much in this box!  The finished box size is about 6" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/2".  It's a big box.

stampin up, measure of love

Let's talk about the stamp set, the Measure of Love Set is one of my favorites from the Annual Catalog.  This fun set has so many cute images plus some cute greetings to coordinate.  This scale is my favorite image in the set...well along with the cherry filled bowl of course!  I colored my scale with Stampin' Blends.  We don't have Coastal Cabana Stampin' Blends but I've found that Dark Pool Party and Light Bermuda Bay blended together create a color very close to Coastal Cabana.  Don't be afraid to mix colors with your Stampin' Blends.  All of my images are fussy cut, yes even those cherry stems!  If you didn't want to fussy cut the bowl and cherries you can just stamp them on the white circle and add your scale below them.

stampin up, measure of love

Let's talk about the colors.  Years ago we had a DSP, I don't remember the name of it, but it used Coastal Cabana and Poppy Parade.  Ever since that DSP I've always LOVED this color combo!  It's one of my favorites and I tend to reach for it often with this set specifically.  My box is Coastal Cabana and I used Poppy Parade on the sides and top of my box.  The sides are the Brights DSP and for the top I wanted more texture then just DSP so I used the Gingham Embossing Folder.  I inked up my folder BEFORE running my cardstock through it, that defines the gingham pattern so much more.  I LOVE the look of it.  Don't wait to long to clean the ink off your embossing folder just run some water over it. It's a great technique that adds lots of extra dimension to your project.

If you've read this far you deserve to see what's inside.  This might be exciting for you, or a huge disappointment.  Inside the box is a box of Dunkaroos!  If you don't know what Dunkaroos are you probably didn't grow up in the 90's.  I remember these from my middle school/high school years in the 90's.  They're cookies that come with a cup of frosting that you can 'dunk' the cookies into.  I found these at Sam's Club and I'll be honest, I was super excited when I found them!  This is a childhood treat that I haven't seen since the 90's!  It was super exciting for me but remember this box is a versatile size and will hold any number of gifts!  If you're like me and want the Dunkaroo's they're at Sam's or check your local grocery/box stores.  I did search on Amazon and they're there too.  Dunk away my friends!  Make sure you check out the video for all the details, tip and tricks for this box.  Subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there too!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Kite Delight Fun Fold

This fun fold is one that I've been gravitating more and more to lately.  It's a super simple one and it's so cute!  For today's card I used the Kite Delight Set from the Mini Catalog.  I think this set is super cute with so many cute kites.  They're fun to color and easy to fussy cut for some added dimension.  I colored my kits with Stampin' Blends, colors listed below in the supply list.  After they were colored I fussy cut the kits as well as two clouds and the sun.  I cut one cloud in half and used each half on the edge.  Great tip for getting double duty from one image!

stampin up, kite delight

As we approach the end of the Annual Catalog I'm pulling out more and more of my favorites from that catalog, like the Pattern Party DSP.  This is such an amazing pack!  If it retires I'll be sooooo sad!!!  The patterns are soooo good!  I added lots of Dimensionals to my kites, sun and clouds for lots of dimension.

This fun fold is an easy one.
The Granny Apple Green base is 7 1/2" x 4 1/4" score the long side at 5 1/2"
The Pool Party piece is 8 1/2" x 3" score the long side at 4 1/4"
