Rainy Days Are Better

I have a bunch of cards featuring the Playing In The Rain Bundle.  Currently this bundle is not available unfortunately, but it is scheduled to be back in stock by mid-March and I know LOTS of you have this bundle so I didn't want to miss out on sharing these adorable cards.  I have another one that I'll share later this week, then don't miss my post on Sunday for a spectacular card!  March kicks off my 20th Anniversary with Stampin' Up! and I have some fun things planned!  One way that I'm planning on celebrating is with special Sunday Facebook Lives, much like my Sale-a-Bration Sunday Series.  The projects I'll share will be amazing and fun! I colored the fox with our our Stampin' Blends.  I used the Natural Tones for his fur and added pops of color on his jacket and umbrella.

I added lots of DSP and specialty papers to bring in more texture and dimension to the card.  I used the Vellum Basics for a soft and subtle background, the Textured Shimmer Paper for some sparkle.  I used DSP from the Brights collection and the Rain Or Shine collection.  This card is sooo cute!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for products in my Online Store.

Today I'm sharing an amazing box!  This box is so stinkin' adorable I can barely contain myself.  I'm using two Sale-a-Bration products, both we've used before.  Today I'm featuring the Thanks A Bunch Set, free with a qualifying $50 order and the Dandy Designs DSP, free with a qualifying $100 order.  I LOVE this DSP and will be heartbroken when it's gone!  The carrots in the dirt idea isn't my own, over the last couple of months I've seen multiple card featuring the Basic Borders Dies as mounds of soil.  I love it!  My carrots are stamped and fussy cut and placed into the soil.  

 

My box lid opens and revels our yummy treat!  These are the Lindt Chocolate Carrots.  My box holds two.  I found these chocolates at my local Walmart, I've also seen them at Target too.  Check your local stores.  I used lots of the Dandy Designs DSP to cover my box, inside and out.  

The box lid is a separate piece of cardstock, the lid is assembled separately and added to the box base.  I used the smallest circle in the Stylish Shapes Dies to make the holes in my cardstock for the carrots to sit in.  

For the box bottom:

Parakeet Party 11" x 5 1/2"

On the short side score at 1 1/4" on each side

On the long side score at 5 1/2", 6 3/4", 9 1/4" and 10 1/2"

Card Crate March 2023-Greatest Journey Bundle

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack-Card 3-VIDEO

Today is the final card in my Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack Class.  If you've missed the other two cards in this class check back the last two days and you'll find them.  If you'd like the class packet to make these cards email me to see if there's any packets still available.  Details on the class are listed below.  

My favorite part of this card is the little hearts in place of the avocado pit.  I added some Wink Of Stella To mine to give it some extra sparkle.  You'll have to fussy cut the two avocados but they're a simple image.

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack-Card 2- VIDEO

I hope you're enjoying this Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack Class Series on my blog!  I sure love these cards! Today I'm sharing card two of three.  If you missed card one you can check it out here.  Card one also breaks down the prep you'll need to do with your DSP if you get the card kit. Card three will be posted tomorrow.  

This card has the most coloring and fussy cutting but it's also my favorite of the series!  Although I may say that tomorrow too!  I love the bright colors and how they all pop together.  

To cut back on some of the fussy cutting I stamped the chile pepper and the chip onto the label.  The other images will need to be fussy cut, they're not hard images to cut and it's totally worth it in the end.

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack-Card 1and Prep-VIDEO

Hello!!!  I'm so excited to release a new addition to the Stamp A Stack Series on my blog!   I'm hoping to provide these stamp a stack classes every month, or at least every other month.  I'll pick a stamp set and feature it in three fun cards.  If you want to purchase the class kit from me and make the cards yourself I'm happy to provide the kit for you!  Details below.  This is card one in my class.  This class will feature the Taco Fiesta Set.  If you don't have the Taco Fiesta Set you can shop for it in my Online Store or substitute a similar set. 

Included in your kit is 12 sheets (6" x 4") of the Flowers and More DSP, this DSP is only available to purchase with Stampin' Rewards.  Stampin' Rewards are accumulated when you reach $150 in personal sales or a party/class. So this is a pretty exclusive DSP.  You'll need to choose four designs to trim and use for your cards.  So many of these designs work well with the Taco Fiesta Set.  Check out the video for the details on trimming your DSP.  

We'll take time in the first video to do all the trimming of the DSP so that it's done for all of the cards.  Choose four designs from your DSP or class kit.  You can choose the same one I did or different ones.  I share different ones in the video.

Sale-a-Bration Sunday-In The Country and Sending Support Sets-Fun Flap Card

We are down to the final days of Sale-a-Bration!  If you haven't already picked up all your Sale-a-Bration wishlist items you have until February 28th but don't wait!  Items are available while supplies last.  Today for my Sale-a-Bration Sunday Series I'm featuring two stamp sets.  The In the Country Set and the Sending Support Set.  Both are free with a $50 qualifying order.  They work so well together too!  

For my image from the In The Country Set I chose to use Stampin' Blends to color it.  You can also watercolor it with our pencils and/or ink pads.  I've seen some amazing watercolored images.  But as I'm not as comfortable watercoloring as I am with my Stampin' Blends I decided to stick with my blends.  I used a bright color palette with Parakeet Party and Shaded Spruce for my green areas and Soft Suede and Crumb Cake for my road and fence.  

I'm making a fun flap card.  There's lots of variations on this type of fun fold.  Lot of different sizes and measurements too.  You can customize this fun fold to work in your favor for whatever sets/dies/punches you're using.  I heat embossed the greeting on the front and punched it out with the Double Oval Punch.  I stamped the greeting on the inside panel too.  I finished the card with some sequins and Baker's Twine.
