I LOVE today's project! I'm actually revisiting a box I made back in 2009! I've gone back to this box over and over again because it's a classic design that is so cute! I modified mine a little today by adding a flap to the front to keep it closed instead of ribbon but it's still just as cute. Each box hold two Ghirardelli squares. When I made these boxes they didn't have the Christmas Ghirardelli squares out yet. I've since seen them in the stores so they're out and you can easily substitute those for the regular ones. I'm using the Modern Christmas DSP. I've used this one quite a bit this year. The bold black and white patterns are stunning, then you have the pops of gold which make it so fancy! I love it! I'm also using the Patterned Tags Dies, they're a fantastic die set. If that wasn't enough, I pulled in another die set-Snowy Delights for the snowflake on my tag. Any of the detail tag dies in the Patterned Tags package would have worked, I just happened to have a few white snowflakes already die cut that I wanted to use and they look great!
I didn't do a stamped greeting, instead I pulled out another die set. I used the Mini Alphabet Dies and die cut the word 'joy' from our All Season Velvet Paper. It's so luxurious. To add them easily add an Adhesive Sheet on the back before die cutting. Finally, I finished the box with some sequins and twine. So cute!
Inside the box are two pockets perfect for holding some yummy Christmas Ghirardelli squares!
