I have another sweet card to share! If you checked my blog on Wednesday you'll remember that I mentioned that I'll be sharing three adorable projects featuring the Gingerbread Man Bundle, this is project 2. If you missed Wednesday, scroll back and check it out, make sure to check back on Sunday for the third amazing project-I'm sooooo excited to share Sunday's project! Today I'm sharing another card featuring the sweet treats in the bundle. The dies are amazing in this bundle and I'm obsessed with the candy! I die cut a bunch of them and decided to arrange them as if they were 'falling' diagonally across the card. There's no special layout to this, just arrange them until it looks pleasing to the eye. Don't over think it though or you might get caught up in details.
To help the candies really pop I used a Blending Brush to add a splash of color to the background with some Highland Heather Ink. I also used Smoky Slate Ink and a Blending Brush to ink around the green mint candies. Adding little pops of color like that help them not to get lost in a white background. Consider using an embossing folder or DSP if you don't want to ink blend. For my greeting I used the Happy Labels Pick A Punch to add some detail to the edge.
