Today I'm sharing a super fun card! I'm so pleased with how this card came out. It's fun and surprising. I'm calling it an inside pop and swing card. The inside pops up and there's panels that swing out. I first saw this card on Dawn Griffiths YouTube channel and I thought it was sooo cool. After playing with it a little, I modified mine slightly and I love it!
I'm using the stunningly beautiful Traditions of Christmas DSP. This DSP has been so popular so if you see it in stock GET IT! You can also put in your email address to be notified when this DSP is back in stock. Check out my Online Store to do that. The front is super simple. I used the Wishing You Joy Set for my background and greeting. I trimmed a piece of DSP diagonally and used both sides to make a fun graphic background. The magic is on the inside.
Once open you have a top and bottom panel that pop up. Not only that, from behind the bottom panel you get two panels that swing out. I just used DSP on my panels but you could add greetings or images to these as well. Make sure you keep them fairly simple, too much bulk and they won't swing open. My pop up panels are also pretty simple with some DSP, I added a greeting and a flower to the bottom pop up but overall kept it very simple. The magic is the mechanism. My greeting on the inside is from Jolly Delivery Stamp Set Make sure to watch the video. I'm breaking down the inside into three separate sections, hopefully it's easy to follow.
