Twelve Weeks Of Christmas Week 9-Tic Tac Shadow Box-VIDEO

Shadow boxes are soooo fun, they're always a surprise and they've very impressive!  When I saw these adorable Nice/Naughty Tic Tacs at my local Walmart I immediately thought of a shadow box.  The Gingerbread Man Bundle and it's sweet treats were an obvious choice.  They're sooo cute!  I'm loving this color combo too!  I can't wait to use it again.  I used Strawberry Slush, Shaded Spruce and Soft Seafoam.  It's a fun twist on the traditional red and green.  

I used the two toned Strawberry Slush cardstock for the belly band (darker side) of my box and the candy canes (lighter side).  Our two toned cardstocks are great way to get perfect color coordination with only one color. I used both greens for my mints, I love the swirled effect.  To continue that, I used the So Swirly Embossing folder for the background.     

No need to untie the bow to open it, the shadow box piece slides right out.  I break down how to make the shadow box step by step in my video.  Make sure to check it out.

Lights Of Aurora Thank You

One of the most stunning DSP's in the Mini Catalog is the Lights of Aurora DSP.  It's gorgeous!  I haven't had much time to use it but I can't get enough of it.  I think there's a few pieces I would like to just frame.  Today's card, though super simple is so gorgeous. I'm using two new stamp sets from the November Online Exclusive release as well as the DSP.  The butterfly stamped in the background is from the Pop Up Petals Stamp Set.  The greeting is from the Banner Sayings Bundle.  

The branch is maybe one of my favorite parts of this card.  I die cut it from the Iridescent Treat Bags.  It's so pretty and it really picks up the colors from the DSP.  The flowers and branch are die cut using the Perfectly Pears Bundle. I finished the flowers by adding an Iridescent Pearl to the center of them.

Alphabet A La Mode and Boho Vibes

Raise your hand if you have an overwhelming large DSP collection?  Anybody?  I know you're out there.  Don't worry me too.  I'm here to support you.  Let's use up some of that DSP.  I know that we love to keep our DSP because "it's too pretty to use" but let's get some of that DSP out of your stack and onto a card.  This card was made, well I made a stack of them, with the intention to use up some of my excess 6" x 6" DSP.  This card is perfect for those stacks.  I trimmed my DSP to 5 1/4" wide but left the other side at 6".  On the 6" side score at 4" This makes the start of this fun fold card.  The best part, both sides of the pattern will be shown, you don't have to choose.  For this card I'm using the Boho Vibes stack.  I love the bold graphic patterns.  Perfect for this use.   

I like the stability of a cardstock base, so I adhered my DSP card front to a Secret Sea Base. I added another 'card' inside.  This one in Cloud Cover.  You can just add a piece of cardstock too, you don't have to add another card.  For my greeting I used the Alphabet A La Mode Dies.  Make sure you die cut these on an Adhesive Sheet, it makes adhering them soooo easy!  The rest of my greeting is from the new Banner Sayings Set released with this months Online Exclusives.   

To add some interest to the Cloud Cover card, I stamped it with the Sunshine Vibes Set and Cloud Cover Ink.  We don't sell a full sized Cloud Cover Ink Pad, but you can purchase our empty Stampin' Spots and a reinker and make your own Cloud Cover Pad.

Twelve Weeks Of Christmas 2025 Week 8-Modern Christmas Ghirardelli Squares Book Box-VIDEO

I LOVE today's project! I'm actually revisiting a box I made back in 2009! I've gone back to this box over and over again because it's a classic design that is so cute!  I modified mine a little today by adding a flap to the front to keep it closed instead of ribbon but it's still just as cute.  Each box hold two Ghirardelli squares.  When I made these boxes they didn't have the Christmas Ghirardelli squares out yet. I've since seen them in the stores so they're out and you can easily substitute those for the regular ones.  Keep this box pattern on hand for year round gift giving!  If you want to check out the box from 2009 you can see it here.

I'm using the Modern Christmas DSP. I've used this one quite a bit this year.  The bold black and white patterns are stunning, then you have the pops of gold which make it so fancy!  I love it!  I'm also using the Patterned Tags Dies, they're a fantastic die set.  If that wasn't enough, I pulled in another die set-Snowy Delights for the snowflake on my tag.  Any of the detail tag dies in the Patterned Tags package would have worked, I just happened to have a few white snowflakes already die cut that I wanted to use and they look great!  

I didn't do a stamped greeting, instead I pulled out another die set.  I used the Mini Alphabet Dies and die cut the word 'joy' from our All Season Velvet Paper.  It's so luxurious.  To add them easily add an Adhesive Sheet on the back before die cutting.  Finally, I finished the box with some sequins and twine.  So cute!  

Inside the box are two pockets perfect for holding some yummy Christmas Ghirardelli squares!

The final card this week is sooooo cute!  The dies have the most adorable kissing booth and I couldn't resist a fun card with it!  There are so many details on the booth.  I die cut the top of the booth in Flirty Flamingo, the bottom in Pecan Pie.  The banner is die cut in Basic White and colored with Stampin' Blends, I wanted a multicolored banner but I didn't want to piece tiny pieces of cardstock together, the blends are the easy button! The sign is stamped on Crumb Cake and I white heat embossed the 'xoxo' on it.  Everything is so cute!

For added detail on my card I ink blended the top of my Basic White piece with Pool Party and the bottom with Granny Apple Green.  I splattered them with the coordinating colors of Stampin' Blends for even more texture.   So cute!!

I'm using the Brushed With Beauty DSP again for this card-the patterns are so pretty.  I softened the pattern a little with a pieces of Vellum-yay for Vellum again!  For my bear I colored him with Stampin' Blends, along with the wings.  The Coastal Cabana piece is the card that opens from the top.

Valentine Kisses Bundle Class To Go Day 2-VIDEO

Today I'm sharing how to do reverse stamping.  Reverse stamping is simply taking a stamp and having it face the opposite direction, in this case so they can look like they're about to smooch.  There's a few different ways to do reverse stamping, my preferred way is with our Silicone Craft Sheet and a stamp positioner.  I ink up the stamp and stamp it a couple of times onto the Silicone Craft Sheet.  Then lay down a pieces of paper and gently rub the paper to get the image to transfer from the craft sheet to the paper.  If you don't have a stamp positioner you can stamp it once onto the craft sheet, just make sure you ink pad is juicy so that it leaves a good impression after one inking.

Once the images are transferred you can color them.  I used Stampin' Blends for my bears.  Crumb Cake for one and Pecan Pie for the other.  For the grassy ground their standing in I tor a piece of DSP from the Brushed With Beauty package.  The background is ink blending lightly for some texture.

We are kicking off this series with a fun fold card.  This fun fold has proved to be really popular in the past so when I saw this sweet bear I couldn't help but do this diagonal fold.  This bear in the bundle is adorable and the dies actually cut his arms so you can tuck items in them.  Today he's holding flowers, in the stamp set there's also a cute teddy bear and jar of honey he can also hold.  To keep him simple I stamped the bear on Crumb Cake Cardstock and used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to add highlights.  If you're making a bunch of bears this is the quicker way to go then to color each one.

I used the eyelet folder to emboss the background.  The DSP is from the Brushed With Beauty DSP.  LOVE this DSP.  This tone on tone pattern is perfect for him.  The 'grass' he's standing in are from the Valentine Kisses Dies, I think this die is meant to be used as a banner or decoration on the kissing booth, why not as grass!
