Team Notebook Challenge

I recently gave my team a challenge to decorate a half composition notebook for a challenge.  I found half composition notebooks at my local Walmart during the back to school season.  I LOVED them! I snagged a bunch of them, without a real plan to use them.  I just knew they were cute.  At our last team meeting I handed out the notebooks (mailed to those who weren't in person) and issued a challenge to my team to decorate their notebooks.  They could turn the notebook into anything they wanted, they had to post their notebooks or send me pictures.  I'm so impressed with what they did!  I'm always interested in welcoming new team members.  Now is a great time to join.  Join during Sale-a-Bration in February and get two free stamp sets in your kit!  Join my team today!

This is mine.  Also sharing a shot of the composition books before they were all made over.

Cindy's notebook.  Look at all that fussy cutting!  Yay!!  I like that she used the negative part of the label die to frame her images.  So cute!

Alicia's notebook.  The Rainbow of Happiness Bundle is one of my favorites.  I love all the die cut letters and what a fun way to use the notebook!

Mellisa's notebook.  There's so much texture and layers on this.  She said the burlap has a paper adhesive back so it was easy to apply to her notebook.  I just love all those different textures!

Dana's notebook.  This is another cute idea!  Dana is using her notebook to write down measurements for cards and boxes.  What a great idea!  I love all those die cuts!

Juanita's notebook.  I love the woodgrain DSP paired up with the shades of purple.  She used the Flowing Flowers set and I think that's a perfect choice.  I would love to jot down some notes in this book.

Michelle's notebook.  The Patten Party DSP is such a great choice.  She plans to use her notebook for inspiring quotes from movies, books, etc.  She also added pockets to the front and back and added some page markers.  So cute!

I love them all!  I know I'm sooooo inspired by my team all the time!  I hope you loved them too!

Thanks for looking, see you soon!!!!!

Bumblebee Pen Holder with Ladybug Punch-VIDEO

I have a really cute project to share with you today!  This little gift was given to everyone who attended my class over the weekend.  I love to make little thank you gifts for my class attendees.  I saw these bumblebee pens on Amazon and had to make a cute holder for them.  The pens are really cute!  To match the colors I used Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight for the bumblebee.

stampin up, ladybug punch

Do you recognize the bumblebee?  It's made from the Ladybug Punch.  We're not using the stamp set today but if you get the punch get the entire Hello Ladybug Bundle, you won't be disappointed.  I added some vellum wings for my bumblebee and added him to a tag layered with dies from the Layering Circles Dies and the Hippo and Friends Dies.

The holder for the pen is a piece of Early Espresso that is 2 1/4" x 5 1/2".
Cut two slits in the Early Espresso piece at 2 1/2" and 3 1/4", don't cut all the way across the Early Espresso, leave 3/8"-1/2" on each side.  This creates a slot to slide your pen into.
For the bumblebees stripes I put an adhesive sheet on the back of some Early Espresso Cardstock then trimmed it to 1/4" strips.  Add to the punched bee and trim excess.

Check out my video for all the details on this project.  Make sure to subscribe to my channel while you're there.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Birthday Bonanza Class Cards

Over the weekend I held a really fun class.  This was my Birthday Bonanza Class.  My birthday classes are always a big hit.  The cards we made at this class are sooooo fun!!!!  Some of my favorites for sure.  I don't have supplies or measurements listed for anything, those are perks for my customers who attend my classes.  If you're local in the Albuquerque, NM area I'd love to have you join me at my next in person class.  Email me for details stamperrdn@q.com

The first card uses the Abstract Beauty Suite, these are some of my favorite dies and DSP!  LOVE!!!!

The next card is sooo much fun, it uses the new Brave Vikings set.  I love the simplicity of this card, but the bold images really pop!

The next card is beautiful and elegant, I used the Flowing Flowers set.  It's a gorgeous set.  This card is easily modified with any DSP and colors you have.

The next card uses the Windmill Fields bundle.  This card is adorable but barely scratches the surface of what this amazing bundle can do!  I love this gorgeous card!!!

The last card is my favorite.  It's a fun fold card and I used the Best Delivery Set.  This one is so cute especially paired up with the Pattern Party DSP from the Annual Catalog.

Catching Butterflies Seed Packet-VIDEO

I'm so excited to share today's project with you!!  Full disclosure I made this project completely different the first time.  I wasn't 100% satisfied with it so I kept thinking of ways to improve it. Well, I ended up thinking up this super cute idea but that would mean scrapping my first plan completely.  So I carefully took apart version one and remade it into this.  I LOVE this one!!  I could make 100 of these and still love them!  My adorable little girl is stamped from the Sale-a-Bration Set Catching Butterflies.  I colored her with Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut her out.  For the one pictured I used Cinnamon Cider for her hair for the one in the video I used Daffodil Delight for her hair.  Feel free to get creative with her.  I also used the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends for her skin.  These are new, they're a set of 10 Stampin' Blends that are designed for skin tones.  I LOVE them!

I used my Blending Brushes and Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia to make it look like she's pulling a rainbow along with her.  I used a Blending Brush and Just Jade for the grassy field she's running through.  To get the edges on the ink I used a piece of printer paper that I tore for a rough edge and used for a mask.  To finish I cut apart my greeting and adhered it down.  I added lots of Loose Flowers and Brushed Brass Butterflies.

This isn't just your typical card.  When you untie the ribbon inside are pockets for seeds!  What a fun spring gift!  This one I included two pockets.  You could always write your message on the bottom or behind one of the seeds.  In my video I'll show you how to make a one pocket packet if you want.  It's sooooo cute!!  I'm so glad I ditched my first idea and made this one instead.

Just Jade 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Basic White 3 7/8" x 5 1/8
Fresh Freesia 7 1/4" x 8"
On the long side score at 4"
On the short side score at 2"

Friendly Hello Box In A Bag-VIDEO

Hello!!!  I'm so excited to bring you a fun box today! Is it a box? Is it a bag? Who knows!?  It's adorable and that's what matters.  I've made lots of these box in a bag treats before.  They're a great go to when you need something quick and cute.  This one is pretty tall, it's 8" tall, which is great because it's a good solid treat, but projects that big sometimes are harder to photography.  Make sure you check out the video where I give you a good look at the entire box in a bag.

stampin up, friendly hello

What is a box in a box?  It has a box base and DSP wrapped around the box, you pinch the DSP closed at the top like a bag.  So the box is the base in the DSP.  Hope that makes sense.  I used the Friendly Hello Sale-a-Bration Bundle for this project.  Hurry you don't have much time left to get this bundle, Sale-a-Bration will be over before we know it.  The bundle is the huge stamp set and beautiful DSP.  I love the DSP!  You can only earn this bundle free during Sale-a-Bration with your qualifying $100 order in my Online Store.

Because the bag narrrows as it gets to the top you are a little limited to what you can put in your box.  But with a box this tall you can fit tons of treats!

Inside mine I have a king size package of Reese's Hearts.  I found these at my local Walgreens.  This time of year you can find them anywhere.

Box 3" x 4" score at 1" on all sides
DSP 7" x 8"

I'm so excited to share this card with you today.  The products in the All Together Promotion are amazing.  I wish that I've had more time to play with them, today I'm sharing a simple card that packs a punch.  One of the best parts of this promotion is the Stampin' Blends.  There are ten new Stampin' Blends in this collection.  These blends are made for skin tones.  With ten different colors you're able to achieve a huge variety of skin tones.  This is something we've needed for a while so I'm so excited we finally have them.  The blends will carry into the new catalog, so they're here to stay.

stampin up, here together

The final card of our three card series is this cutie floating away!  I stamped and colored him with Stampin' Blends, colors listed below.  I stamped the balloon on some DSP from the Sunshine and Rainbows Sale-a-Bration pack and cut it out.  I thought that would be cuter than coloring the balloon but you can do that too.  I finshed the card with more DSP a die cut greeting and some Linen Thread and sequins.  Soooo cute!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

This one might be my favorite of the three, but tomorrows is sooo cute too!!!  This one is a little bit of a fun fold.  I used a Basic Gray piece that was 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and mounted my Daffodil Delight cardstoc on it.  This one is 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" on the long side score it at 4".  Adhere another piece of cardstock to the tab on the Daffodil Delight piece, I used an embossed piece of Smoky Slate that is 5" x 3 3/4".  Make sure you ONLY add adhesive to the far left side of the Smoky Slate piece to only adhere it to the tab, or you'll adhere your card shut.  It's a simply fold but it's always fun to mix it up a little.  My image was colored with Stampin' Blends, colors listed below.  I fussy cut my image and added it to my card.  Finish with some ribbon and sequins.  So cute!!!!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.
