This card is super fun and a new technique to me! This is the Watercolor Dip Technique. This is such a fun technique and a new way to use our Watercolor Paper and Ink Refills. You'll need some sort of bowl or container that you can dip your paper into. Keep in mind the bigger it is, the more water you'll need, the more ink refill you'll need. To get a darker color add more ink refill. I used Granny Apple Green for mine and I could have definitely gone darker. You'll start by adding water to your container and mixing in some ink refill. You can test it on some Watercolor Paper by dipping the paper into the color. Too bright? Dilute it with water. Not dark enough? Add more Ink Refill. Dip the paper in and hold it for a few seconds. Then let dry or use your heat tool. Add more Ink Refill to make the water darker, dip again but not as high this time, creating layers. Dry and repeat until you have your desired look.

- Earn the Class To Go Kit FREE with a $150 order. Includes everything from option 2 PLUS you'll get a full embellishment in your kit!
You can choose the option that best works for you! Here's some additional fine print.
- I will not do any stamping or die cutting/punching from the featured set or bundle. You will need the stamp set/bundle to complete your cards. You can always substitute for products you already have.
- My basket of cards is full of cards from past classes, cards featured on my blog and more! Please note that the cards will be chosen randomly and may not coordinate with the featured stamp set/bundle. Envelopes will not be included for these five cards.
- Your order total must be at $50, $100 or $150 before tax and shipping and after rewards or Bonus Days coupons in one order (multiple orders cannot be combined).
- Must be a resident of the USA to participate. The blog posts and videos will be available to everyone.
- Each class will have designated dates to earn the class-check dates below. Classes should ship the week following the cut off date of the class. You'll receive an email when they ship.
This technique will only work with our Watercolor Paper. Our Basic White-even the thick one won't hold up with this much water. I used a Stampin' Blend Marker to add splatter to the background. I colored my kitty with some Stampin' Blends. This simple card is so cute with that dipped background. Give it a try!
