For the DSP you’ll need a piece that is 5 ¼” x 12” score at 4” and 8” . On the left side of your DSP measure and mark from the top at 2 5/8" and cut diagonally from the side to the first score line. On the right side of the DSP measure and mark from the top at 2” and cut diagonally from the second score line to your mark. Fold and mount on a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of cardstock. I made sure to decorate both flaps of the card and make sure you add a liner on the inside for a personal message.  Check out the video for all the details.  I have a full supply list below. All Things Fabulous with Gilded Leafing-VIDEO

Today's stunning card is this weeks facebook live. If you missed me live yesterday you can catch the replay here.  I go live every Wednesday at 3pm.  This card is stunning from top to bottom!  I LOVE the colors and that gold splatter--YES PLEASE!!!!  The flowers are from the All Things Fabulous Set in the Annual Catalog.  This is one of those sets that I just adore but I haven't played with enough.  I love the Soft Suede leaves.  I think it adds some great contrast in color and a unique look to the card.  But the spotlight on this card has to be that gold splatter effect in the background.  It's so stunning in person!

stampin' up, gilded leafing, all things fabulous

The Gilded Leafing is a new product in the Mini Catalog and it's pretty fun to play with.
Some tips though:
1) Prepare for a mess, even though I feel like I was fairly neat with it, it will make a mess.  I found that Swifter Duster cleaned up any messes.  PS-I also use a Swifter Duster when cleaning up stray embossing powder or glitter.  It works like a dream!
2) I used a sponge to rub in my Gilded Leafing, you could also try a brush.  You just need something to rub off the excess.
3) The leafing is designed to stick to anything sticky.  This could be anything!  From our new Heat and Stick Powder to any adhesives, dry or liquid.  Make a border with Tear and Tape or Stampin' Seal.  Add some to glue dots for gold accents.  I used Tombow for my card today.

To get the splatter I mixed some Tombow with some water just so it was loose enough to splatter, then I splattered away!  Use an old paintbrush to do this or designate a specific brush always for glue.  I love the look of it though!  For all the details on this card and how to use the Gilded Leafing check out my video.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for all of these products in my Online Store.

More Colored Blooms

On Monday I shared this card featuring our amazing Stampin' Blends Markers.  I have another card to share that uses the same DSP to create an equally amazing card!  For this card I colored the flowers with a combination of Highland Heather and Purple Posy Stampin' Blends.  I couldn't love it more!  The floral image is colored and fussy cut directly from the True Love DSP.  This DSP is a classic package that can be used for any occasion.  Even if you don't color the images the basic black and white patterns will coordinate with all your projects.

stampin' up, true love dsp, stampin blends

I added some DSP from the Hydrangea Hill package and embossed the background with the Dainty Diamonds folder for some add subtle texture.  I did some splattering of my Purple Posy blends on the background too for just an extra smattering of texture.  I kept the coloring the spotlight of this card and simply added a greeting from the All Things Fabulous Set in the Annual Catalog.  To finish the card I added some Gorgeous Grape Ribbon and some Pastel Pearls.  So pretty!!!  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for all of these products in my Online Store.

True Love DSP and Stampin' Blends

If you love to color with our amazing Stampin' Blends you need to get the True Love DSP.  They are a match made in heaven!  Sometimes I think we just need some color therapy and our Stampin' Blends are here for the job!  This DSP has multiple floral images that you can just sit down and color,  which is what happened with this card.  I grabbed a piece of the True Love DSP, cut out the images I wanted to color and put on a movie.  I love the way they came out.  For my yellow flowers I used a combination of So Saffron Blends and Mango Melody.  My pink flowers I colored with Magenta Madness and Flirty Flamingo.  The leaves were all done with Granny Apple Green.

Stampin' Up!, True Love DSP, Stampin' Blends

Once they were all colored I fussy cut them, which is a different kind of soothing therapy and mounted them to another piece of the True Love DSP, Basic Black, Magenta Madness then onto a So Saffron base.  I embossed a greeting from the Art Gallery Set and added lots of gold accents to finish the card. It's simply stunning!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for all of these products in my Online Store.

Touch Of Ink With Gold Accents-VIDEO

Happy Sale-a-Bration Saturday!  Each week I'm focusing on one of our amazing Sale-a-Bration products and making it the feature product that week.  This week is A Touch of Ink.  This beautfiul stamp set is so much fun to play with and makes beautiful amazing cards!  You can earn this set FREE with your qualifying $100 order in my Online Store. There's so much to love about this card.  I love the soft Mint Macaron card base and the bold Magenta Madness Butterfly.  I love the gold hoop, gold pearls and gold embossing!

stampin' up, a touch of ink

The one thing that I was struck by when I got this set was how large the images are!  Don't let the catalog fool you these images are large and in my opinion makes them that much better!  For the butterfly on my card I stamped the outline in Night of Navy and then the watercolor center in Magenta Madness, these colors together are so beautiful!  I fussy cut the butterfly, sorry there's no dies but it's an easy one to fussy cut.  The rest of the details on this card are in the video.  Check it out!

Art Gallery Two Step Flowers-VIDEO

I have a stunning card to share with you today!!!  I just love this card and the bold bright colors.  I saw a card by fellow demonstrator Emma Goddard with a dark blue background and bright flowers and I just loved it.  I've had a hard time using the Art Gallery Bundle because it's hard for me to branch out of the colors in the suite so I love to find cards that use alternate colors.  This card is simply stunning!!  I used the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder to add additional texture to the card, I think it works so beautifully with this suite.

stampin up, art gallery

The bright flowers are really the star of the show though.  I used my Stamparatus for perfect placement of the stamps.  Plus by using the Stamparatus I can stamp multiples of the flower effortlessly!  The dots in the center of the flowers are stamped with the small dotted stamp from the A Touch Of Ink Set.  This is a set you can earn free with a $100 order during Sale-a-Bration.  For all the details on this card check out my video.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Sweet Popsicles

I just love the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle!  It is soooo cute and I have SOOOOOO many ideas for it!  I am a huge fan of ice cream and all things ice cream, what's not to love!?  What is so brilliant about this bundle is the images are spot on.  They're so realistic!  For this popsicle card I stamped the popsicle in three colors.  I stamped the bottom image of the popsicle in full strength ink and the top I stamped off on scratch paper first.  This gives another layer of dimension to your stamps.  I love the look!
stampin, up, sweet ice cream

The punch coordinates with the ice cream not the popsicles so these were fussy cut out, but they're easy to cut out.  I added some sticks to them and a greeting.  I think this card is sooooo cute!  I love the white and vanilla together too.  The background is embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder which adds lots of fun texture.

stampin' up, sweet ice cream

I also wanted to share this card, same layout, same supplies, almost the same colors...I had to add chocolate ice cream. This card I did use the punch for my scoops and cone.  How cute!  Let me know which card you prefer, popsicles or ice cream?

Hello Sharks

Happy Monday!  I have a cut and quick card to share today!  This is definitely a card you could make a bunch of to have on hand.  I started with a stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes dies and used my Blending Brushes to quickly add some Coastal Cabana on it.  I added lots of color on the bottom then let it fade as I got near the top.  I stamped the greeting from the Sweet Strawberry Set and added some stamped bubbles.  The sharks are from the new Shark Frenzy Bundle and are so quick and easy to stamp.
stampin up, shark frenzy

For the larger shark I stamped the outline in Bermuda Bay and the inside in Coastal Cabana.  The smaller shark I stamped the outline in Flirty Flamingo and the inside in Blushing Bride.  You could easily customize the colors to what you wanted.  To finish the card I added a layer of Pear Pizzazz embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder and added some Night of Navy Hearts and Twine.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for all these products in my online store.

Heartfelt Front Flap Box-VIDEO

I am sooo excited to share this box with you today!  It is so cute, it packs a WOW factor and it's pretty simple to make!  There's lots of score lines and trimming but I'll walk you through all of it in my video.  I have a list of measurements below.  Once you make one you'll make a ton of these boxes!  I sized my box to fit some Valentine Ding Dongs I found in my grocery, it's a good size and I'm sure would hold lots of other treats and gifts.

stampin' up, heartfelt

I'm using the Heartfelt Bundle for this box.  You'll find this bundle in the Annual Catalog.  It was featured in last years Mini but was carried over to the annual catalog and you can still get it in a bundle and save 10%! Yay! I used the Adhesive sheets for the leaves and flowers on this box.  Those are a HUGE life saver when adhereing small detailed pieces.  You put the sheet on the back of your cardstock BEFORE you die cut it, then once it's die cut you have sticker which is soooo much easier to adhere then battling with liquid glue.

stampin up, heartfelt

I love this box so much because of it's unique design.  The front flap holds it all together.  When opened the box top completely lifts off.  It's so cute!  I just love it!
To make this box you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 10 1/4" x 8 1/2"
On the long side score at 3/4", 2 1/4", 5 1/2" and 7
On the short side score at 1 1/4", 2 3/4", 5 3/4" and 7 1/4"
The DSP belly band is 10" x 2 1/2"
Check out the video for all the details on this box.
