I shared this card a couple of weeks ago in my VIP group on Facebook. I am seeing slimline cards everywhere. I think they're fun and it's something different the the normal sized card so I decided to try it out. I love it. I love the size. If you're gifting a check or some cash this is the perfect size, you can always add a little pocket on the inside. Plus I just love the simplicity of this specific card. I pulled out my Flowers For Every Season DSP and really just let the DSP do all the work. I added a greeting and I was done! This slimline card is 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" I started with an 8 1/2" x 7" cardstock then scored the 7" side at 3 1/2". I've seen some slimlines that are 9" tall so I think it really you're preference.
