Merry and Bright-VIDEO

I have the most perfect and festive Christmas Card to share today. I shared this card yesterday in my weekly Facebook Live. Follow me on Facebook to never miss a live video @Ruth's Stamping Corner. The Peace and Joy Bundle was one of the very first bundles I got out of the Mini Catalog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bundle. This bundle is a staple in your Christmas crafting stash. It's the perfect set, fun simple images paired with bold greetings. The dies are pretty amazing!!!

The dies contain not only the script writing of the word but also the die to cut out the stamped word and a larger piece to matt it all on perfectly. There's three words featured in the dies, 'bright' 'peace' and 'joy'. For my card I only used the two outline dies. I stamped my 'bright' and die cut it. I cut the largest shadow piece from vellum. I paired this bundle with the amazing Heartwarming Hugs DSP and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. All the accents stamped on the label are from the set. The holly's are accented with Red Rhinestones for some shine! The card is finished with some White Seam Binding that I colored with my Real Red Stampin' Blends. Finally I wanted to share the same card but instead of stamping 'bright' I used the detailed die cut in the dies out of Real Red Cardstock. It's the same exact card otherwise. I love them both but I think I love the stamped version slightly more, the greeting is more bold and stands out more. Both are amazing though! PRO TIP! If you choose to make this card with the die cut instead of the stamped version, save yourself tons of trouble and use the Adhesive Sheets on your cardstock BEFORE you die cut.
