I have a fun sneak peek to share today! This card is soooo adorable and sooo simple. I made a stack of these in no time! I made the same card using both Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling. Both cards are identical just with a color switch. I'm actually using two new stamp sets for this card, both will be available November 4, 2025 with the new Online Exclusive launch. The first is the spotlight set called Big Little Things
The first is the spotlight set called Big Little Things. This adorable set is a stand alone set-no dies or punches. The animals in the set are sooo cute! It's a distINKtive set, meaning you get that incredible shading and texture from one stamp and one ink pad. Soooo amazing! The second set I'm using is called Cake Day-it's incredible and I'm only using the sparkle for the background. You'll see more with this bundle soon!
As I mentioned both cards are the same. I used our cardstock for the card base, the actual card part that opens is our Two Toned Cardstock on the front. I also used the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP to add a little metallic splash. I finished the card with some In Color Pearls.

Long ago a younger version of me new to stamping learned that Hershey Nuggets were made for crafting. They're the perfect size for a box, they're a yummy treat, and you can use DSP or 1" x 3" address labels to wrap them. I was smitten and made many projects featuring Hershey Nuggets. Fast forward a few years to today where I custom make boxes for nearly anything. It occurred to me one day that it had been years since I made a Hershey Nugget box-WHY? So off I trotted to the store to pick some up. On the way home I stopped at a large craft store and found a package of 24 Christmas pencils for only $5-how could I possibly pass that up. Then on the drive home I brainstormed how to combine the beloved Hershey Nuggets with these super cute pencils......this box was born. It's adorable. It's a fun (and affordable!) treat. Plus you can modify this box year round. Got some Halloween pencils and DSP-yes! What about Valentine's-you got it! Hershey Nuggets and fun pencils are sold year round. Save this box in your repertoire and come back to it when you need it.
Today we're making a Christmas one. I'm using the Wishing You Joy Stamp Set and the Branching Out Dies. Let's talk a little about the Branching Out Dies. I bought the dies-like many of you I'm sure because the labels in that die set are perfection. However I am challenging myself to use the extra dies to get the most from that die set. The pinecone and branch-ADORABLE! Why did I ever doubt them!?! They're the perfect mini accent to my box.
The box has a tab that holds the pencil. The box itself holds three Hershey Nuggets. I'm using the Peaceful Garden DSP because it was a nice neutral-ish color pallet that coordinated with most of the pencils. To make the holes for my pencil I used a 1/2" circle punch, if you don't have one look through your punches or dies, you might have something that will work. I did use a glue dot on the top of my pencil to hold it in place. A smaller circle punch, maybe 3/8", might eliminate the glue dot.
As I mentioned above you can wrap the chocolates in DSP-1" x 3" works perfectly. If you don't want to use DSP you can stamp a sheet of 1" x 3" address labels (there's 30 per sheet on that!) and make custom wrappers, I've done that as well in the past. It's super easy, super fast, super cute!

Today's project is a little different than other projects I've done with my Twelve Days Series. Today I made the same exact card and use different mediums to color my images. Both cards are stunning, it just depends on the look you want. I posted the colored images about a month ago on my Instagram Stories and asked people to vote if they preferred the image colored in Stampin' Blends or Watercolor Pencils better. Overwhelmingly the Stampin' Blends won. The blends are smoother and more vibrant but the pencils give a nostalgic feel to them. I love them both. Feel free to let me know which you prefer. Are you team Stampin' Blends or team Watercolor Pencils. Because both cards are completely identical, except for the coloring, I'll have one measurement list below. I will have two separate links for supplies for each of the cards.
First up let's talk Stampin' Blends. I stamped my image in Memento Ink. When you color with Stampin' Blends you need to use Memento so that the colors don't bleed. You can use any waterbased ink, I've also stamped in our Classic Ink Pads and colored with Stampin' Blends without issue, for this card I used Memento. Coloring with Blends is quicker, there's no drying time. However you need a lot of colors, I used 7 sets of blends. That's quite an investment.
For my image I used Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Summer Splash, Medium Light Natural Tones Stampin' Blends. The natural tones are a great option for skin tones. If you want to add shading to the skin, let one layer dry (alcohol inks dry super fast!), once dry you can add additional layers for shading. The image is fussy cut-no dies-sorry!
Let's talk Watercolor Pencils now. We have two assortments of Watercolor Pencils, I used a combination of both packages. The look isn't as vibrant but I love it. It's soft and pretty. When coloring with Watercolor Pencils I used my water painters but I also had a jar of water nearby, I find that it's just quicker and easier to dip into the water then squeeze water out. I also keep dry paper towels on hand to help with areas with too much water or bleeding into areas that I don't want color to go. For my card I used these pencils: Coastal Cabana, Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Balmy Blue.
Make sure you stamp your image with a waterproof ink on Watercolor Paper. Our Basic White, even our Thick Basic White can't hold up to the water needed. You need to use Watercolor Paper. To get a nicely stamped image on textured paper I used a stamp positioner and stamped it multiple times using Staz-On Ink. Always use Staz-On when watercoloring. When watercoloring with pencils the more color you lay down initially will be where it's more concentrated, if you want an area to be less shaded use a lighter hand when coloring or drag color from a more concentrated area. If you want more shading, let the image dry and go back and add more color to the desired areas.

It's not often that I reach for reds and greens when I make Christmas cards but this bundle just calls for the traditional colors. That being said this card would be equally adorable in pinks or blues too. This card is a take on a Z-Fold card, but with a full front. The greeting is white heat embossed on foil for some amazing texture and shine.

I'm sooo excited about this class to go! This bundle is adorable! If you're a baker, know a baker or just bake for the holidays you'll want this bundle. The images and greetings are great for cards but they're stellar for tags on your homemade treats this season. This week I'm sharing three cards and a box. Today's card is sooo cute! I think the mini gingerbread cookies are my favorites. I used the Christmas tags and more DSP for a fun pop of color.

It's time for the twelve weeks of Christmas! This is a series I do every year. I'll share a fun, sometimes over the top, project in the twelve weeks leading up to Christmas. Today I'm sharing a really fun box. Inside my box I have a selection of gift tags. This box is great for storing tags, gifting them or put anything else inside. It's a great size and would hold lots of treats or even other items like jewelry and small gifts. The finished box measures 4" x 3 1/2" x 1". I'm using the new Patterned Tags Dies for the tags in my box and for the outside too-they're sooo much fun!
The stamp set I used is the Seasonal Tags Set. This is a new set and I wasn't sure I'd love it but it turns out I keep reaching for it for great greetings. I a couple of the die cut elements from the Christmas Tags and More DSP for the outside of the box. This DSP has gorgeous pattens and the die cut pieces make everything so quick and easy!
I also used the Traditions of Christmas DSP for the outside and for my tags inside. This DSP is currently unavailable, it will be back in about a month. In the meantime look through your Christmas DSP, there are so many beautiful patterns that would work.
Inside my box I have a divider that leaves two sections for tags. I have six tags in my box. You can probably fit a couple more if you wanted. If you were putting something else in this box you could leave the divider out.
There are two each of three tags. Each is a little different but still so stunning! The Patterned Tags Dies make them quick to put together. I used different ribbons on each one so they all stand out in their own way. Any of these tags would be beautiful on any gift this season.
