The new Feathered Fun Set is just that-FUN! This is a reversable stamp set, that means that you can stamp the detail image then use the back and stamp the solid image to fill in the bird. I LOVE this fun technique! The stamp is so nicely designed that there are birds that mirror each other making the revere stamping sooo easy! For this card, however, instead of stamping the reverse image I colored in my birds with Stampin' Blends. There's lots of new DSP on this card too. My patterns are from the new Florals In Bloom DSP.
The branch they're sitting on is from the Impressions Abloom Dies. I used Peach Pie, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends to color them. The beaks are done with the Darling Duckling Stampin' Write Marker. The greeting is from the Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set. Don't be afraid to mix and match your products. There are no dies for the birds so this is a great opportunity to fussy cut.
Fun folds are my favorite. This is a vertical gatefold which makes a really fun and unique card. You'll need two pieces of Basic White. Adhere them together to make a piece long enough to meet in the front.
