Sneak Peek Translucent Florals

I have not one, not two but a bunch of cards to share today! Plus a sneak peek product I think you'll love! As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we are able to attend exclusive Demonstrator only events. In June they hosted an event called Creativity Now. In this event we got the opportunity to purchase a brand new bundle coming in the upcoming Holiday Mini, we got some amazing sneak peeks in to the just released Online Exclusives and so much more! It was a virtual event so I was able to watch and craft with my daughter. She joined me for the first part. She also made one of the cards with me. Today I'm going to share the cards we made in the event. I have a 'stepped' up one and a simple one that I hope willl inspire you!

The first couple are probably my favorite of the bunch. I love the crisp white and the pop of colors from the flowers. We used Stampin' Blends to color onto vellum, then die cut. It's a gorgeous technique. The top card is my 'stepped' up card. I used the Flat Pearls for the center of my flowers. I love these pearls and how they pick up colors from everything around them! I used Wink of Stella on all the flowers to give them a little extra sparkle.

I love the simplicity of the second card. So pretty! The top is my stepped up version, I added some ribbon and embossed the background. I also added some splatter to the background using my Pebbled Path Stampin' Blends. The bottom one is just as gorgeous. For this one I added sparkle with the new Sparkle Gems.

Finally, the Poppy Parade card. I only have one of these, my daughter made the second from the supplies I prepped. I made this different then their example but I still love it! These flowers when stamped give a gorgeous stained glass effect! If you love them they'll be available in the next Mini Catalog. Demonstrators can preorder from that catalog in August, it will launch to customers in September. Now is a great time to join my team and get in on that preorder in August! Horse and Sleigh Non-Christmas Card

Last week I shared some amazing projects featuring our new Horse and Sleigh Bundle in our recent Online Exclusives Release. Today I wanted to use those same products and show you how you can stretch that bundle and use it all year long, not just for Christmas. I used the tree in that set and colored it with some Stampin' Blends. I chose some of the neutral patterns of DSP and put the trees on them. I love how each tree is a little different and they all pop off the DSP. My center DSP piece is just slightly bigger. I love how it all balances out.

I used a greeting from the Layering Leaves Set and my Banners Pick a Punch to add some detail to the greeting. I used some Lost Lagoon Ribbon to finish my card.

Simple Fun Folds Class

Earlier this month I held my July in person class. I featured simple fun folds. I don't have measurements or supply lists for these, that's a perk only for my class attendees. However if you're interested in learning more about any of these folds I can note that and hopefully feature them in upcoming posts or videos. Let me know in the comments.

First up is the Just My Type envelope flap fold. The DSP tucks under the greeting making a fun 'envelope' look. So cute!

The flap easily comes out and the card folds down to open. Love! The colors are pretty fun too, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon!

Next up is a gate fold card with the Countryside Inn DSP and the Hope You Know Set. I get a lot of requests for sympathy cards. I think this one is so pretty.

I love that the Hope You Know Set has coordinating inside greetings too.

The next card also uses the Hope You Know Set. This one is a diagonal gate fold. This card is always a hit! I used the Paper Florist Dies for this one too. It's so gorgeous!

The amazing black and white DSP is from the Zany Zoo DSP. Another amazing DSP pack!

I used a fun fold I shared recently here for my Reach For The Stars card. This card is so bright and fun and the planets are die cut directly from the Stargazing DSP. Everyone had different planets and colors, every card was unique and different. It was so fun!

This is a great fold for those sets that have good outside/inside greetings. I love that Holographic Paper too.

My last card is a Z-Fold card. This is a fun simple fold that is always a hit. I used the Gorgeously Made Bundle and coordinating Masterfully Made DSP.

I went with big, bold and bright colors for this card. It's pretty stunning! You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Christmas In July! Sliding Sleigh-VIDEO

Christmas In July! Horse and Sleigh Easel Card

Today I'm sharing a great use of the dies and DSP, plus it's a fun fold! I die cut the trees from the DSP and adhered them to pieces of DSP as well. I love this little trio of trees. I used a greeting from the set but if you wanted to change up the greeting you could do that easily and make this a great year round card instead of a Christmas Card.

I made this card an easel card with another Christmas greeting on the inside. The key to making an easel card is to make sure you only adhere the pop up panel below your score line. Make sure you pop up a greeting or image on the inside to hold your easel card up and you're set!

The measurements of my card base are

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" on the long side score 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"

My Mossy Meadow top layer is 5" x 3 3/4"

Christmas In July! Horse and Sleigh Shaker Card -VIDEO

Today I'm sharing a shaker card and I have a video to go with it! There's lots of tips and tricks on this card, make sure you check out my video. For my shaker I'm using the DSP from yesterday's card. If you didn't check it out make sure you scroll back. I used the piece of DSP that I cut the deer out for to make my shaker card. No waste! For my shaker bits I die cut lots of stars using the stars from the Cracker and Treat Box Dies.

Even though the shaker is so adorable, the star of this card might just be that amazing tree! I used the Pearlized Enamel Effects and some Mossy Meadow Refill to give the tree lots of texture and shine. Check out the video for details on this tree!
