Color and Contour meets Pattern Party

Reaching for the Pattern Party DSP is becoming second nature to me.  This is my favorite DSP and I've loved using it!  This card I went with those bright colors and stamped some flowers with them using the Color and Contour Bundle.  Because the DSP already has all those amazing colors, it's easy to continue to add color to the card.

I added more flowers with the Strawberry Punch and some greenery using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I used the Tailor Made Tags, Scalloped Contours and Basic Borders Dies to continue to add depth to this card with die cuts.  It's all so stunning!!!  You can shop for all these products in my Online Store.  I have a full supply list below.

Peach PocketBac Holder-VIDEO

Todays box is sooooo cute!  The Sweet As A Peach Bundle hit the top of my list when I saw it in the catalog.  The entire suite is pretty spectacular! But the stamp set had my attention first.  Once I had these products in hand I loved them even more.  Especially the DSP.  Every pattern is soooo gorgeous!  Today I have a really cute box to share and it's sized perfectly for the PocketBac Hand Sanitizers from Bath and Body Works.

Stampin Up, Sweet as a peach, you're a peach

Not a fan of the peaches?  This box will hold any of the Bath and Body hand sanitizer.  When I saw this peach flavored one I knew instantly that I would be making a box for it!

Stampin Up, Sweet as a peach, you're a peach

The lid flips opens on this box, and with the help of the Tailored Tag Punch we have a super cute inside look too.  Plus that DSP is just sooooo cute!!!

Stampin Up, Sweet as a peach, you're a peach

To make the box you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 8 1/2" x 3 3/4".
On the short side, score it at 1" and 2 3/4".
On the long side, score at 2", 3", 6" and 7"
The DSP on the box is trimmed:
1 5/8" x 1 3/8"
1 5/8" x 1 7/8"
7/8" x 1 3/8" (two pieces)
7/8" x 1 7/8" (two pieces)

Make sure to watch the video for all the trimming details, over all this box is pretty simple to put together.  Simple enough you'll be making these for all your friends!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Pansy Tag

The second make and take that I featured in my team meeting over the weekend was this beautiful one featuring the Pansy Dies.  I love how amazing these dies are.  They were thought out so well and go together like a dream.  Choose your colors, die cut your pieces and adhere your pansy together.  It's that easy, the dies do all the hard work!  Of course for this card I broke out my favorites from the catalog with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and the Pattern Party DSP.  These are MUST HAVES!

stampin' up, pansy dies

The Pansy Dies not only cut but they also emboss detail on each petal.  To make your pansies even easier to assemble add some Adhesive Sheets to your cardstock BEFORE die cutting.  The dies will cut the adhesive sheets too and you'll be left with a die cut with the adhesive already on the back.  All you need to do is adhere everything together.  Plus look at the stunning results!! I have a full supply list below you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

In Color Shimmer Vellum

Over the weekend I held a virtual meeting with my team via zoom.  We had so much fun getting together, chatting and stamping.  For our meetings I always provide a make and take packet for them.  We make the cards together.  This was one of our cards.  It not only showcases the new In Colors perfectly but it's also just gorgeous!  I used the Beautiful Trees Dies to die cut each of the rectangles in the In Colors.  This die is made for the greetings but it's perfect for just creating blocks of color.  Plus it adds a fun beveled edge that I just love.

I added some details with the Forever Flourishing Dies and the new Shimmer Vellum.  If you haven't checked out this shimmer vellum put some on your next order.  It's soooo stunning!  The pictures in no way do it justice to the sparkle it gives!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Flowers Of Friendship Tag With Basic Borders Dies

I think this years In Colors are some of my all time favorites.  Every time I sit down to stamp I'm always reaching for one of the new In Colors.  For this card I decided to combine three of them and they're gorgeous!  I'm also using the new Flowers of Friendship Bundle. This flower is so cute and so quick and simple to stamp and punch and be on your way!

stampin' up, flowers of friendship, basic borders dies, tailor made tags dies

To add lots of dimension and pizzazz to my flowers I stamped them on Polished Pink cardstock in the same ink.  To add lots of depth to the flowers I used my dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blend marker to add some detail to the bottom of each petal.  I punched out the flowers and them trimmed them to fit on my stamped flowers.  The flowers are stamped on one of the new Tailor Made Tags-another HUGE FAVORITE!  To add lots of detail to the background I used the Basic Border dies to die cut lots of chevrons to add to the background.  The added detail is amazing!  I finished the card with some In Color Jewels.  LOVE!  I have a full supply list below.  Shop for these products in my Online Store.

Peekaboo Farm Spinner Card-VIDEO

Today's card is sooooo cute!!!  I shared this card yesterday in my weekly Facebook Live.  As soon as I saw the new Give It A Whirl Dies in the new catalog I was in love!  I knew these dies would be a quick favorite of mine.  The dies are not bundled with any specific stamp set, you have to buy them individually but that also means that you can use these dies with ANY set!  Look at what you have I bet you'll be surprised how many images you have that you could make into a spinner card.  You don't even have to include images, you could put a different greeting in each spot.

stampin' up, peekaboo farm

For my card I went with the Peekaboo Farm Set.  OMG!  This set is sooooooooo cute!!!!  Of course I'm a sucker for any cute critter but these guys are the best!  The beauty of the dies is that as you turn the wheel the image changes in the window.  For my card I featured three of the cute farm animals in the set.

stampin' up, peekaboo farm

I used post it notes to mask off where I didn't want the image to stamp and I colored each image with Stampin' Blends. To make the wheel nice and sturdy I die cut it with Thick Basic White Cardstock.  The dies are so intelligently designed that all you need is a die cutting machine.  Start by die cutting the top of the spinner mechanism, in my case that's my Bermuda Bay Cardstock.  This die will not only cut the finger slot to spin it but also the brad hole and add stitching all the way around.  Then you simply run it through one more time with your window piece (there's lots of window options in the die set).  You can place the window anywhere you want on the card, simply line up the brad hole on the window die with the die cut hole on your cardstock.  This will give you perfect, exact placement every, single time!

Trim your Bermuda Bay DSP to 2 1/4" x 3 5/8".

The die set also includes arrow you can add to show how to spin your card, but it's pretty easy to figure out.  Make sure you check out the video for all the details on this card and tips to put it together flawlessly.  I have a full supply list below you can shop these products in my Online Store.

Sneak Peek!-Etched In Nature No Line Coloring

I have another sneak peek using the Etched in Nature Set.  Yesterday I shared a card with this set where I water colored the bird.  Today I want to share another card with this set, using Stampin' Blends and the no line coloring.  I can't even tell you how much I love this card!  I love the bird and how almost realistic he looks!  Since the focus on this card is the bird I kept the rest of the card very simple.  A little DSP, some Linen Thread and some sequins for shine.  But the bird is the star.

stampin' up, etched in nature

To do the no line coloring, you'll need to stamp your image as light as you can.  I used Gray Granite stamped off twice!  Keep that first stamped off image close though, you'll want a darker image to refer to in case some of your lines are really light and harder to see.  Once you have your light image stamped you color, just as you would if you were working with a full stamped image.  The beauty of the no line coloring is that it looks seamless and you're able to go back and add the detail you want.  After the entire image was colored I went back in with my darker blends and drew in some of the line details I didn't want lost, like on his wing and chin.  I used a Black Stampin' Write marker to add his eye detail after it was completely colored.  No line coloring doesn't have to be scary and it doesn't mean that there are NO lines at all.  You can see I still have some stamped detail in his beak and legs.  It simply means that it's providing a guide for your coloring.  This will make it look more like you've drawn the image than stamped it.  It's so much fun.  If you haven't given it a try I encourage you do it!  Practice makes perfect!  I have a full supply list below.

Etched In Nature Watercolor

I've been so excited to share this card with you!  Demonstrators who attended Stampin' Up! virtual event On Tour in April received this set.  The set is Etched in Nature, it's in the new catalog and is artistic and full of fun nature images.  Since there were sooo many On Tour events around the globe at different times, demonstrators were asked not to share samples or images of the set until April 26.  Well here we are!  I'm soooo excited to share this!!!  When I saw this bird I wanted to watercolor it. The sketched detail in the stamp just screamed watercolor to me.

stampin' up, etched in nature

To watercolor it I used my Water Painters and some ink that I smooshed onto some clear blocks.  I used Misty Moonlight and Magenta Madness for the bird, while keeping the branch earthy with Cinnamon Cider.  The legs and beak are Bumblebee.  When you watercolor it's important to use a good cardstock for water, I'm using our Shimmery White.  I used the Tin Tile Embossing folder for even more detail (sadly the Tin Tile Folder is sold out) and added some flowers from the Pierced Blooms Dies.  Gold accents were added with the Forever Greenery Ribbon pack and Metallic Pearls.  Items that are available to purchase now are listed in my supply list below.  The stamp set will be available on May 4, 2021!  If you love this set I have one more card to share on Monday featuring it!  Make sure to check back!

New Catalog Kick Off Class

Over the weekend I was so grateful to be able to host another in person class.  After only doing 4 in person classes last year, every in person class I host this year is super special.  I'm loving seeing all my friends and getting to create with them!  The class over the weekend was to kick off our amazing new catalog, I have 5 incredible cards to share!  These are the cards my guests got to make at my class, I don't have a supply list posted because these cards are exclusive for my class attendees.  If you're in the Albuquerque area I'd love to have you at my next in person class.  Contact me for details.

The first card features the Pansy Petals Bundle.  This entire suite is so gorgeous but I especially love the stamps!  I paired up the stamps with some new DSP and some new In Colors.  Simply beautiful!

The next card features the Biggest Wish Set.  This stamp set is affordable and packs a big punch.  I love the block greetings and the scripty greetings.  But the real star of this show is the In Color Shimmer Vellum.  Yep Shimmer Vellum-it's amazing!!!

Another big hit is the Flowers of Friendship bundle paired up with the Hand-Penned DSP!  Oh my goodness what a gorgeous card this is!  The gold bumblebee just tops off this card!

Probably the cutest card of the class was the card with the Turtle Friends Set.  This little turtle and I are going to be best buds! I love all the detail on this card, the DSP, the clouds the coloring!  It's a winner!!!

My absolute favorite suite in the new catalog is the Sweet As A Peach.  I knew this suite of products had to be in my first class!!!  I couldn't love this card any more!!  From the colors to the DSP to the baker's twine-I so love baker's twine!
