Sweet Old Friends Twist and Pop Card

One of my very favorite, all time fun folds/movement cards are twist and pop cards.  I remember the first time I made a twist and pop card.  Mind blown!  It was like magic!  Since then, I'm still mesmerized every time I make one.  The Sweet Old Friends Bundle is perfect for this fun fold.  There's so many characters and fun dies, this is a great way to include them all.  I've made lots of these videos in the past, I'll like to one of mine from about 3 years ago.  It's a good video that breaks down how to make these cards step by step.  Check it out here. Once you have the layout and scoring done you can substitute any images in.     

All of my images are colored with Stampin' Blends.  For a full list of colors check out the supply list linked below.  I have three characters on the front and even more popped up inside the card.  For the background I ink blended it for a soft, vintage look.  I used Lemon Lime Twist and Secret Sea.  Use a light hand with both colors, you want a soft look not intense color.  

I ink blended the inside panels the same way.  I used the dies to die cut some of the extras in the dies like the leaves, honey pot and sign.  These are good accent pieces to add to fill out the card.  My greeting is from the Thoughtful Octopus Stamp Set.  I wanted a simple birthday greeting and this was perfect.
