Today's card is soooo adorable! I've made lots of cards with this triangle open in the past. It's such an easy card and ALWAYS a hit! This time I added an additional card inside and it has a gift card holder. There's LOTS to love about this card! We're using the entire Silly Old Bear Suite for this card, both bundles, the DSP, and the embossing folder. LOVE it all!
Earning the Class To Go is easy-simply place an order in my Online Store!
There's three options:
- Earn the Class To Go Kit FREE with a $50 order. Includes all the supplies you'll need to complete the cards. You will have to provide ink and stamps. Kits will NOT come prestamped If the featured bundle includes dies or punches you'll need those as well.
- Earn the Class To Go Kit FREE with a $100 order. Includes everything from option 1 PLUS you'll get 5 FREE cards from my card basket sent FREE.
- Earn the Class To Go Kit FREE with a $150 order. Includes everything from option 2 PLUS you'll get a full embellishment in your kit!
You can choose the option that best works for you! Here's some additional fine print.
- I will not do any stamping or die cutting/punching from the featured set or bundle. You will need the stamp set/bundle to complete your cards. You can always substitute for products you already have.
- My basket of cards is full of cards from past classes, cards featured on my blog and more! Please note that the cards will be chosen randomly and may not coordinate with the featured stamp set/bundle. Envelopes will not be included for these five cards.
- Your order total must be at $50, $100 or $150 before tax and shipping and after rewards or Bonus Days coupons in one order (multiple orders cannot be combined).
- Must be a resident of the USA to participate. The blog posts and videos will be available to everyone.
- Each class will have designated dates to earn the class-check dates below. Classes should ship the week following the cut off date of the class. You'll receive an email when they ship.
I used Stampin' Blends to color my images. My images were stamped with our new Hybrid Basic Black Ink. This is one ink for use with both water coloring and Stampin' Blends. I like the bold color of it. But you do need to give it adequate drying time. If the ink isn't fully set the blends can and will make the ink bleed. If you're concerned about this you can also stamp them in Memento Ink. Otherwise give plenty of dry time or use a heat tool to really dry the image.
The supporting dies in the Sweet Old Friends Bundle are amazing. How cute is that tree stump and the honey pots! For the front of the card we'll cut a piece of DSP in half diagonally, then use the other half inside for a gift card holder. Inside there's also a row of honey pots because why not? I used both Very Vanilla and Basic White for this card. I know some people prefer one or the other but not mixed. I don't mind mixing them. I like the crispness of the white alongside the vintage look of the vanilla. You can choose one if it bothers you.
