Impressions Abloom

I have a fun, simple and gorgeous card for you today.  This card features the Impressions Abloom Bundle.  This bundle is so versatile.  You can use the dies alone for gorgeous cards or you can use the stamps and dies together for gorgeous cards.  Whatever you choose to do you can't go wrong.  I used new colors for this card.  I love the way the colors pop off the dark Secret Sea background.  To add even more interest to the card I embossed the background with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.  

I die cut a circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies and arranged my flowers around it.  The stamps add so much detail to each flower you don't need to add many embellishments to make the card shine.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Congratulations Snoopy Punch Art

I have an adorable card for you today!  It's been a loooonnnng time since I've made any punch art.  Years ago that's all I was doing was punch art.  It's so much fun, I had a blast coming up with this so maybe I'll do more in the future.  I just love the fun images you can create with basic shapes.  I made this card for my sons girlfriend who graduated high school this year.  She loves Snoopy so I thought I can make Snoopy-he's adorable!  

I no longer have this card in my possession so I had to go off memories for the size of the card.  Thankfully I had the foresight to write down the measurements for the house-so those are correct.  And I took a picture of all the punches I used so I had that to go on.  The card is pretty basic.  There aren't too many layers and I didn't use any embellishments.  I really wanted Snoopy to shine on his own! I think the only thing I would change would be his nose.  I used a 1/2" Circle Punch but in the end I think it's slightly too big, alternatively the 1/4" was too small, Goldilocks problems.  If you have a 3/8" I think that might be perfect. 

To make the panels on the house stand out more, I used a Blending Brush and Poppy Parade ink and inked the edges to give them some definition.  When they're layered next to each other this little bit of ink blending makes all the difference.  For the background I kept it super simple-again letting Snoopy shine.  I used Coastal Cabana Ink around all the edges and splattered it with Summer Splash Stampin' Blends.  Simple but effective.  For my greeting I used the Cap and Gown Stamp Set and masked off half the greeting so that I only had 'congratulations'.  I wanted a small and simple greeting.  

Some of the punches are retired, the supply list will have all that are current and available for purchase. If you don't have the others look through your punches and dies you might have something similar that you can use.  The three that I used that are not current are the 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch and 1 1/2" Circle Punch.

Today is my favorite card of the class. This card is a stunner!  It's a trifold card and each panel is unique and beautiful on it's own.

Each panel is not only unique but at a different height.  This gives you the advantage to see the panels behind them.  When the card is closed it's a stunning scene, as you continue to open it you can see more and more detail in each panel.  Plus it's super fun to make.  For the first two panel I trimmed two of each focal point (the trees on the front panel, the Smoky Slate mountains on the second).  Cutting two allows you to sandwich the card base so you have a continuous scene without seeing the card base.  For the base I used the Pool Party Two Toned Cardstock.  This is a great option because it's thinner than regular cardstock so it won't bulk up an already bulky card.  

This card has a ton of pieces.  Make sure to trim your cardstock carefully-or better yet-earn the class free and I'll do the trimming of your cardstock.  All you'll need it do is die cut and adhere! Make sure and watch the video to see how and where everything goes together.

Today's card is so pretty!  I love the peek-a-boo window.  The greeting is fussy cut.  I felt that without being fussy cut it covered up too much of that gorgeous scene.  If you're not a fan of fussy cutting, no worries.  You can leave it or use a smaller greeting on the outside and the 'you're amazing' on the inside.

I love the dreamy-ness of card 2 of the class.  The soft colors of the sunrise just make me take a deep breath and relax.  The dies do all the hard work on this card.  They're incredible on their own.  I stamped the greeting in Pretty In Pink to help add to the softness.  If you want it to stand out more I would go with Basic Gray.

Splendid Summer Fun Folds In Person Class

My June in person class was full of summer themed colors and images.  Plus the cards were all simple fun folds. If you're in the Albuquerque area I'd love to see you at a class.  Contact me at stamperrdn@q.com for details on my next in person class.

I had to use the Silly Safari Stamp Set for a card.  It's adorable and if full of summer vibes.  

I stuck with the zebra for it's bold black and white patterns but with lots of pops of color from the Beautiful Bokeh DSP.  

Next up is a card with the Scenic Adventure Bundle.  This bundle is all about summer adventures.  Perfect!  I love the colors and fold of this card.  Sooo fun! 

I have a new Class To Go series starting tomorrow on my blog featuring this bundle.  If you love this bundle make sure to earn the class to go, (starting tomorrow June 16, 2025).  All you have to do to earn the class to go is place an order in my Online Store, minimum of $50.  Make sure to check my blog this week for all the cards/videos.

Finally, who isn't up for a little summer sailing.  This fun card will fold flat to mail but pops up to amaze! 

I went with super nautical colors on this one to really drive that sailing theme home.  Love it!

Sending Healing Hugs

I have the sweetest card to share today.  This is perfect for someone feeling a little under the weather or just needs some extra hugs.  I'm using the Hugs and Healing Stamp Set, it's sooo cute!  I used Stampin' Blends to color my image.  There are no dies so you'll have to fussy cut, but it's fairly simple to fussy cut.  My favorite part of this card is the background.  

For the background I wanted an elegant but subtle pattern, so I grabbed my Simply Scored and put my Basic White piece in at an angle.  I scored every 1/4", then I rotated my cardstock the opposite way and scored every 1/4" again.  This leaves a gorgeous diamond pattern on the background. LOVE!  You can get bigger diamonds by scoring every 1/2" or 3/4" too.
