Thankful Garden Fun Fold-VIDEO

This bundle includes a stamp set, die and masks. It's incredible and I can't wait to share this fun card with you! This fun fold card is one that I've done many times before, It's quick easy and it's oh so cute! You start with a thinner and taller inside card, then attached a shorter and longer outside card and you have an amazing fun fold. I got a swap card with this fold many years ago (over 15 probably) at a Stampin' Up! event. Ever since then I've recreated it many times. It's a classic. I used new DSP, the Lovely Garden package is beautiful. I let the DSP inspired my colors for the card. The soft yellows and bold green is amazing!

The flower and leaves are colored in using the masks in the bundle and Blending Brushes.  When you're using the brushes on an image like this, don't be too concerned with making it perfect, The masks will do an incredible job getting the ink where it needs to go but sometimes light and dark spots are good and look more natural.  I always say start light with the ink, you can always add ink but you can't take it away so start with a light hand and build color as you go.

Resourceful Rusty Pop Up Z Fold Card-VIDEO

We have some new Online Exclusive products launching on March 4, 2025.  I'm so excited to share a couple of them with you today!  This adorable Resourceful Rusty Set caught my eye immediately.  You know I love critters and cute greetings, and I love that this set allows you to create a scene and journey through Rusty's frustration to his joy!  What a fun set!  

I used Stampin' Blends to color my images.  I kept the coloring super simple so the images could tell the story.  I'm also using a couple more sneak peek products on this card.  The new Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder is amazing and I'll be featuring that more and more!  The embellishments are also new, they're the new Neutral Matte Dots.  They're so fun! 

My pop up z-fold card features three of the 'rusty scenes' and as you open the card you get this little snapshot of his journey.  I love the greetings and think this would make an amazing encouragement card for anyone going through a rough time, maybe students for finals week, or a friend that just needs a smile.

Sale-a-Bration Sunday Documenting The Day Expanding Pocket Scrapbook-VIDEO

Today is the last week of my Sale-a-Bration Sunday Series!  I love doing this series with you and sharing our incredible products!  If you still need to shop you have until Friday February 28, 2025 to get your Sale-a-Bration orders in.  This is the best time to shop, stock up on cardstock, adhesive, inks, embellishments and more-earn free stuff while you do it. Today I'm sharing the Documenting The Day Stamp Set.  This stamp set is so much fun! If you're a scrapbooker you definitely need this set in your stash! I'll be the first to point out that I am not a scrapbooker but this set really got me inspired so today I'm sharing an expanding pocket scrapbook.  I don't know if that's the best name for it but that's what I'm going with.  I'm also using the Fresh Freesia Ribbon and Purple Sequins, both Sale-a-Bration options, they both coordinated so well I wanted to include them in this project.  

I'm also featuring the Meant To Bee Scrapbooking Kit on today's project.  Our new line of scrapbooking products have been amazing and I have been especially impressed with the new scrapbooking kits, so much that I had to get my own to see them in person.  They're amazing!  The kits come with supplies to make 3 12" x 12" layouts and have full color step by step instructions. If you get and make one scrapbooking kit once a month, by the end of 12 months you'd have 36 two page spreads! That's a full scrapbook! That definitely inspires me to do more scrapbooking!  The DSP and die cut elements on today's project are part of the scrapbook kit so don't miss out!  

I stamped my greeting in both Fresh Freesia and Petuinia Pop Ink.  I fussy cut my greetings, it's a little over the top but I think for projects like this it makes a difference.  On my die cut hearts I stamped the heart from the Documenting The Day Stamp Set on each heart in the coordiniating colors.  It really makes them pop!  The whole scrapbook is kept closed with the Fresh Freesia Ribbon and I did a full smattering of the Purple Sequins on the front for needed sparkle and shine! 

Once you start opening it you'll understand the 'expanding' part. I used lots of the DSP from the kit to decorate my inside and of course more of the die cut pieces.  I have 'place holders' for photos with my Basic White cardstock.  Don't forget to add some journaling too.  You could always omit a few of the diagonal DSP pieces for journaling spots. 

These elements are also from the kit, aren't they cute?  I did stamp the 'wonderful' and fussy cut it from the Documenting The Day Set.  If you wanted to skip that the kit has some precut greetings that would work well too.

The scrapbook continues to expand.  While I don't have any photos in it yet I thought this would be so cute to feature my daughter and her braces journey.  After 2 years we finally have a date that she'll be able to get them off.  By the time she gets them off she'll have had braces for nearly 2 1/2 years!  That's worth documenting with a before/after picture(s) and some notes about her journey. I think today's card is my favorite of the week, but who can choose they're all stunning! I love the colors on this one and we're bringing in some DSP from the Cute As Can Bee DSP.  The basic patterns work so well.  I layered up some labels from the Mixed Labels Bundle for a fun look too! Today we're coloring in an entire heat embossed piece.  I love the look of this!  So pretty!  When you're coloring with Stampin' Blends over embossing powder please be careful, if you go over the heat embossed area too much your alcohol markers can actually start to eat away at the embossed area and cause some nasty bleeding into your colored areas.  So color carefully and quickly. I've noticed this happens more with black embossing powders than the metallic like we're using.  The ladybugs add a fun pop of red to the card and really bring some movement to the flowers.  So gorgeous!

Today I'm sharing a stunning card featuring some regal colors like Moody Mauve and Old Olive.  Remember that Moody Mauve is an In Color and will be retiring in just a couple of months.  If it's a color you love, grab it now!  I colored my image with Stampin' Blends, check the supply list for all the colors I used.  I love the die cut leaves in the background and the gold heat embossed leaf. Sale-a-Bration Sunday Pick A Season Stamp Set Easter Card-VIDEO

We're nearly done with Sale-a-Bration--EEEK!  If you haven't snagged your FREE items yet what are you waiting for?!  This is our second to last Sale-a-Bration Sunday and I have loved sharing this years Sale-a-Bration offering with you! Today I'm sharing FOUR Sale-a-Bration products!  I'm featuring the Pick A Season Stamp Set today but I'm also using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies, the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set for my greeting and the Purple Sequins.  All choices FREE with a $60 qualifying Sale-a-Bration order.  I'm sure today's card will have something you love!  After a couple weeks of over the top projects this week I thought we'd go with a more simple, layed back card.  That doesn't mean we're sacrificing on cuteness or techniques.  There's no shortage here.  I have a fun technique for the background, we have some fussy cutting and die cut glimmer paper.  What's not to love! 

The background is made with bubble wrap.  Yep just your run of the mill bubble wrap.  I have a small stash of bubble wrap that I keep for this technique, if some of the bubbles are popped that's just fine, it adds to the texture.  I carefully ink up the bubble wrap then gently place my cardstock over the ink, pull off and you have an incredible background.  Don't worry too much about making it perfect-the imperfections make it perfect! 

For my tree I inked up the leaves in Granny Apple Green then I used my Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the eggs.  I colored each egg a different color and stamped them on the tree.  The Stampin' Write Markers are different than our Stampin' Blends.  DO NOT attempt this technique with your Stampin' Blends.  The reason it works with our Stampin' Write Markers is because they're waterbased and the same ink that's in our ink pads.  So it works.  The Stampin' Blends are alcohol based and won't work to stamp.  Now is a great time to JOIN MY TEAM and grab TWO color families of Stampin' Write Markers FREE in your Starter Kit.  This join offer ends with Sale-a-Bration so don't wait to join!  After the tree is stamped you'll fussy cut the top of the tree and the trunk.  

The letters are die cut with the Alphabet A La Mode Dies, FREE Sale-a-Bration option, with some Glimmer Paper.  To make adhering the letters easy and mess free I put an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Glimmer Paper BEFORE die cutting.  Then the letters are simple to stick down, it's peel and stick!  

I used the 'happy' from the 'Happy Birthday' stamp from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set-also a FREE option during Sale-a-Bration! The card is finished with some Purple Sequins-our fourth FREE Sale-a-Bration option.
