Today I'm featuring the Friendly Seagulls Stamp Set. This is a FREE set you can earn free with a qualifying $60 order in my Online Store. I am a HUGE fan of all things punny and all critters so this one was number one on my list and I've had soooo much fun playing with it. I've already shared this card with it. It's so cute! Today we're making a sliding gift card holder.
I used Stampin' Blends to color my images, though they don't need much coloring. I have all the colors listed in my supply list linked below. I added some extra shading to the white parts of the birds with some Light Petal Pink. This small step gives them lots of dimension and brings them to life. There are no dies for this stamp set so the images were fussy cut. If you don't want to fussy cut them you can stamp them on the tag itself. I used the Greetings Of The Season Dies for my tag and my heart is die cut with the Hearts Of Elegance Dies, these are an Online Exclusive from our November Release. The heart is embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder from the new Mini Catalog.
In addition to the Friendly Seagulls Set I'm also using some new Sale-a-Bration DSP. This is the Bloom Impressions DSP. It has stunning floral images on one side and watercolor backgrounds on the other. You can earn the DSP FREE as well with a qualifying $60 order in my Online Store, or spend $120 and get them both FREE!
When you open the card the gift card slides up from the pocket inside. It's so fun and super simple to make. I have a Starbucks gift card in mine because that's what I had on hand. Ideally I'd put a gift card to a burger place in there, maybe Red Robin or another great place to get burgers and fries.
