I have another fun project featuring the Hey Chuck Bundle. For this one I pulled out a product I haven't used in FOREVER! My Embossing Paste! I LOVE Embossing Paste. I love the texture, I love the look of it, but I never, ever remember to use it! I actually did for this card and I think it came out great! I used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste on mine, the matte would also look great. If you've never used Embossing Paste and are curious how it works let me know, I'd love to shoot a video sharing it. Leave me a comment on this post.
In addition to the Embossing Paste I also used lots of new dies from the Annual Catalog. I used the Nested Essentials Dies and the Gorgeously Made Dies. Both are some of my favorites! I have a supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.
I have the CUTEST box to share today! I just love these cute roosters. I tried and tried to resist not getting them but in the end I had to break down and get the Hey Chuck Bundle. Currently the dies are not available so you cannot get the bundle but you can get the stamps. The dies are scheduled to be back in stock towards the very end of July. Plan to purchase them then.
I designed this box so that you can get 2 per sheet of cardstock, with very little waste. Because of this the flaps on the bottom of the box will not overlap. Instead they'll meet in the middle. I think it's a great way to get more from your cardstock with little waste, especially if you have a stack of them to make.
I colored my rooster with Stampin' Blends, the colors are all listed below. I think any of the roosters in this bundle will work but I love this guy. He cracks me up. In addition to the rooster I die cut the sun in Daffodil Delight and punched a 2" Circle from Lost Lagoon and part of a circle from Old Olive. These are simple steps but they really bring the scene together.
Inside my box is a K-Cup. They fit perfectly in the box and work so well with the greeting. You could also fill the box with some treats. I wrapped the ribbon only around my box lid. This saves on your ribbon plus it doesn't need untied to open.

Hello! Today is my final Sunday Favorites! I will be taking off Sundays in July and maybe return in August for a new series. Watch for that coming soon! Today we're closing out this series with an amazing cards and one of the sets I had on my list first! This is the Layering Leaves Set. I LOVE this set! It coordinates with our Bough Punch that we've had for a while. I use that punch all the time! Now we have a stamp set to coordinate with it! I'm so excited!
I'm also using the Inked Botanicals DSP. Remember the DSP is on sale this month. Hurry you only have a few days left to save 15% off on some gorgeous DSP! The colors in the Inked Botanicals DSP are stunning together and I used those colors as inspiration for my card. Lots of Lost Lagoon, Crushed Curry with pops of Pretty Peacock!
This is a type of gate fold. Both sides unfold for a stunner of a card! I have lots of DSP inside too! When you're making a gate fold card the most important thing to remember is to only adhere your focal image to one side of the card. If you adhere both sides your card won't open....ask me how I know. Rookie mistake!

Hello! I have a really fun card to share today! This one is a sneak peek of an upcoming bundle coming in the Holiday Catalog! I was able to buy this bundle early because tomorrow Stampin' Up! is holding a demonstrator only virtual event featuring this bundle. If you signed up for the event you could purchase the bundle in advance. Yay!!! If you want perks like this, this is a great month to join my team! When you join in June you'll get to choose $155 in product of YOUR choice for only $99. There's no requirement to sell or buy, but you'll enjoy a discount and we all LOVE a discount. I'd love to have you join my team! Back to the bundle, I love it! The images give a fun, almost stained glass look. It's very fun!
Full disclosure on this card, I made a bunch of these and mailed them all out before I typed up all the details so I'm going off my memory here and that might not be 100% accurate LOL. I made a cardstock stripe background with pieces that I believe are 3/4" wide. I alternated colors and adhered them to a piece of Basic White that is 5" x 3 3/4". I love that look. I need to do it more! I added some amazing sparkle with the Holographic paper. GORGEOUS! While you can't get the bundle yet, you can shop for the rest of these supplies in my Online Store. I have them listed below.
I have a fun patriotic box for you today. Just in time for those Fourth of July Celebrations you might be planning. These are great for summer picnics, even graduation parties. Let's face it, any reason is a good reason for a cut box and cake! I found some Little Debbie Red White and Blue Cakes at my local grocery. You can check the Little Debbie Product Finder to locate them in your area. I wanted a fun patriotic box so I rummaged through my stamps to see what would work well. The box is super cute!
I used the Good Feelings Set for the greeting. This is my go to set for celebration greeting. I love that 'hooray'. I also pulled in a brand new stamp set, Inked and Tiled. The fun abstract stripes work great for this box. I used some Bright DSP to wrap my box too. All in all it works!
I added some Boho Blue to my box and used the In Color Luster Paper for the stars. The stars are from the Give It A Whirl Dies. They're so good for all those little accents you need for your projects!

I'm back with another Sunday Favorites project! This one is so pretty! I'm using the new Darling Details Bundle in our Annual Catalog. I'm pairing it with three of our new In Colors. I'm using Pebbled Path, Copper Clay and Wild Wheat. Along with the In Colors I added some Petal Pink and Garden Green. This is a dreamy combo! If you think you don't like Wild Wheat I'm here to ask you to give it a chance! It's a color that is growing on me and the more I use it the more I love it! Give it a try! One of the things that makes this bundle so great is the amazing frame dies. This one is stunning! It has delicate details and stitched lines. No detail was spared!
For all of my flowers, and some of my leaves, I stamped the solid part of the stamp on scrap paper first for a lighter shade. Then I stamped the detail directly onto it. This gives you so much variation in your ink pad colors, really stretching your supplies and your dollar! Check out the video for all the details on this card. Welcome back! I'm excited to share this gorgeous card with you! I'm using the new Darling Details Bundle. I was drawn to this one immediately in the Annual Catalog. Like many of you I have tons of flower sets and usually tell myself 'you don't need more flower sets!' Well I couldn't resist this one! I love the soft watercolor like images and the dies are spectacular!
I used a bright color palette for todays card. I paired up Lemon Lolly with Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist. To add even more I die cut some of the leaves from Vellum for a soft look. I'm featuring this bundle this Sunday in my Sunday Favorites so make sure to check back for another card with a very different color palette! I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.
I'm super excited to share this card with you today! When I saw the new Crafter Tips additions to our Take Your Pick Tool I was ecstatic! I LOVE having a hobby blade and perforated cutting tip! They're so amazing for our already amazing Take Your Pick Tool! The first thing I had to do with it was make a super cute bookmark card. With the perforated tip you can make the bookmark and easy to tear off gift in your card. You can also make coupon books and sooo sooo sooo much more! I can't wait to share all my ideas with this perforated edge! I'm also using the Bird's Eye View Set because I think it goes so well with a bookmark.
Also featured on this card is the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. This DSP is incredible! If you haven't checked it out yet make sure you do! PLUS this month only it's on sale for 15% off. The 'thanks' is cut directly from the DSP. Imagine everything else you can spell. It's perfect for cards and scrapbooking. What a cute title you could make! I used Stampin' Blends to color my images. They're all fussy cut, sorry friends no dies for this set.
Let's talk about the detachable bookmark. With your card extended, grab a good ruler and your perforated tip for the Take Your Pick Tool. Hold the ruler steady on the 8 1/2" score line and roll the tip along the rulers edge. You'll be left with a perforated edge that can be easily torn off. LOVE IT!!!! I used the new Courage and Faith Set for my greeting on my bookmark. I made this card while crafting at a friends house and this was her set so I don't have that set to use on my card in the video, so I'm subbing it for the Charming Sentiments Set. Look for a greeting that is tall not wide for this one. I kept my images flat on the bookmark. You don't want to bulk up your book with a thick bookmark.
