I am happy to announce a new way to do classes with me!  Welcome to Card Crate!  The class that comes to your door and you can do your projects on your time from the comfort of your home.  Read on for all the details!

What you'll need:

• Stamps and ink to complete your projects, per Stampin' Up! policy all projects will come unstamped (you'll know in advance what the supplies are so you can plan ahead and place orders if you need to).  There's always room to substitute items and be creative if you don't have the exact supplies!
• Adhesive, some months may contain specialty adhesive.
• Scissors

Angle Side Cake Box-VIDE0

Today's box is so fun, and pretty simple.  Your friends will be so impressed!  I'm using some more sneak peek products for this box. I had to pull in my Color and Contour Bundle.  This is the bundle with the AMAZING scalloped rectangle dies.  Seriously PUT THESE ON YOUR WISHLIST!!!  I'm pairing up the bundle with some beautiful new DSP, this is the Hand Penned DSP Pack.  If you love this DSP, you might want to join my Annual Catalog DSP Paper Share and get a little of all the packs in the new catalog.  You can check out my paper share details here.  

This box is so bright and fun and just gorgeous!  I love that stamped flower and all the sparkle and shine from the Elegant Dots and Artistry Blooms Sequins.  The ribbon is the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon, it's in our current annual catalog but it will carry into the next one!  Yay!!! 

I love this angled box.  The lid is cut to an angle and it gives that two toned look.  The bottom of my box is Misty Moonlight Cardstock. The top is Daffodil Delight.  I love the sharp contrast between them.  You could easily change up the colors.  Such a gorgeous box!  Inside my box is a super cute lemon bundt cake.  I found these at my local grocery, they're the lemon flavor, they also had a cinnamon flavor.  Both would be super cute in this box.  

To make the box you'll need two pieces of cardstock in two different colors. Again I'm using Daffodil Delight and Misty Moonlight.  Both pieces are the same size and scored the same.  Make sure you check out the video for how to trim and assemble the box.

Sneak Peek!-Beauty Of The Earth

Thanks for checking in today!  I have an amazing card that once again features the gorgeous Beauty Of Friendship Bundle.  This one spot lights the dies and that amazing tree!!!  I love the layering dies in the bundle.  There's a solid piece for the tree leaves, then the detailed leaf piece and the tree itself.  This will be a complete year round bundle!  I can already see winter cards with the tree alone!!!  Look at that amazing DSP!  This card came together so quickly with the die cutting and the amazing DSP.  There was little for me to do!  

The only stamping is the greeting and shadow under the tree, the die that cut out that greeting is also included in the dies with the bundle.  I added a cloudy sky with the new Basic Borders dies and inked some Balmy Blue color onto it with my Blending Brushes.  I love the layers of the clouds.  I finished the card simply with some Linen Thread, my favorite!!!

Sneak Peek-Trees Two Ways

Today I have not one but two amazing cards to share!  Both use similar products but give a completely different look.  The bundle is the Beauty of Friendship Bundle and it's pretty amazing!  The images are earthy and fun and the dies are going to blow you away.  For these two cards I focused on these simple stamped trees but watch for more cards coming soon that showcase the dies.  For my first card I stamped a variety of spring trees and added them to a cardstock hill.  The cloudy sky is thanks to a new borders die, from the new Basic Borders die set, that I cut and then used for a stencil with my blending brush.  It's so beautiful!!!

Both cards I stamped the greeting on vellum and added some linen thread.  I love the natural look of linen thread with these trees.  For my second card I used the same trees but this time die cut.  I added a different border to the Mint Macaron Cardstock with the Basic Borders Die.  I finished this one with new DSP and some gold pearls.  I love them both!  I have more to share with this set so watch for that coming soon!!

Puffin Goldfish Holder-VIDEO

If you liked this box that I shared yesterday, you're going to love today's project too!  I'm using the Party Puffins set again.  It's soooo stinkin' cute!!  The set has those super cute gift wrapped fish, I immediately though Goldfish Crackers! That's what I did!  This box is more of a wrap then a box.  But still super cute, super simple and perfect for party favors, class gifts, coworker gifts, gifts for mail carriers, bank tellers, etc.  Really who doesn't love Goldfish Crackers!?

The wrap is super simple, use a half sheet of cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", on the long side score at 3" and 7 1/2".  Adhere together in the back then embellish the front.  That's it!!  To create the front, I stamped that fish, tone on tone in our new Pale Papaya Ink on the Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The puffin and his fishy gifts were colored and fussy cut.  I used 3 die sets to layer up on the wrap.  I used Layering Circles for the circle, the Stitched Rectangle for the DSP from the new Pattern Party DSP, THIS is my favorite pattern!  Finally a new die set, Tailored Tags for the Pumpkin Pie tag.  This tag die set is pretty amazing, you'll see me use it a TON!!!  I finished the tag with some new Pale Papaya Ribbon. Party Puffins Donut Box-VIDEO

Do I have a cute project to share with you today or what?  First it's a box that holds donuts, so YUM!  Next it uses a new set that I am just IN LOVE WITH!!!  This set I didn't even get on my first preorder.  Yes...I'm not afraid to admit that I place multiple preorders as a demonstrator.  What usually happens is I make the mistake of *thinking* I can live without a certain set and then I see a sample with it and realize my horrible mistake and run to order it.  As was the case with the Party Puffins Set.  

I had these yummy donut holes that I knew needed a cute box so I decided why not do that with the puffins.  I completely love this box!  I used some new ribbon, and lots of Stampin' Blends to color my images.  There are no coordinating dies for this guy so you do have to do a little fussy cutting.  

Make sure you check out the video for all the details on this box.  To make it you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 8 1/2" x 10 1/2".  It's a big box with a big treat!  

On the short side score at 2 1/2", 4", 6 1/2" and 8"

Colored Pattern Party

I have another sneak peek card to share.  This one is a great one when you want to color.  The flowers are from the new Pattern Party DSP Stack.  This is a host only exclusive stack of DSP, but anyone with a $150+ order is free to earn it, you don't have to host an event.  I grabbed the piece with the flowers on the back and I sat down one night and colored a bunch of these flowers in some of our new colors.  Then I fussy cut them.  They're so pretty!  To create the card I pulled out two new stamp set and more of that amazing DSP.  

I also pulled out a new set of border dies to create that amazing border on the Soft Succulent cardstock.  So fun!!!  Before I adhered my greeting piece and flowers I added lots of splatter with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  Sometimes when a card just needs a little extra something that something is some splatter.  It's a small detail that really completes the card.  I finished with some rhinestones and boom, fabulous card!

Wanna Get Away Class

Over the weekend I was so fortunate to host another in person class.  I have sooooo missed these classes over the last year and am so enjoying being able to get back in person and catching up with all my amazing stamping friends.  This class was titled Wanna Get Away, because after a year at home, don't we all want to get away.  This was a safe, crafty space we could all enjoy.  My guests made 5 cards, two with retiring products, two with mini catalog fan favorite sets and one with new sneak peek products!  These cards are exclusive to my guests attending my classes so I won't be sharing measurements or supply lists on these cards.  

First, the retiring set cards.  The first card is the Beautiful Friendship Set.  This gorgeous floral set has been one of my all time go to sets.  I love the watercolor floral look, the images are just stunning.  There's lots of amazing greetings to choose from.  It's one of my all time favorites!  Make sure you get this one before it's gone forever!  

The second retiring set I chose is the Cute Fruit Set.  This is another set that I just adore.  These fun sweet images made the cutest cards. I love the bright colors on this set and I even threw in some new DSP from the new Brights Stack in the new Catalog.  

The next card is one that I've seen in multiple places and had to copy.  I'm not sure who the original creator is but I love it!  I used the Suit and Tie Dies to create a very regal, formal front.  But when you open it.... 

.......A fun set of summer legs unfold from the card!  It's business on the outside, party on the inside!  It's super cute!! 

The second fan favorite set from the Mini Catalog that I chose to focus on was the Sweet Ice Cream Set.  I just love this set! This card was also inspired by another demo, Susan Wong.  I loved the color blocking she did and these colors just POP together don't they!  Think of how many colors you could make this card in.  

Finally, the sneak peek card.  This card features a new bundle, new colors and new DSP.  I simply adore this card and I think you can see why!  Gorgeous colors, stamps and DSP!! Sneak Peek! Flowers Of Friendship

If you saw my project on Wednesday, these products might look familiar to you.  If you didn't, you can check out Wednesday's post here.  I'm using the amazing Flowers Of Friendship Bundle again, this time I pulled in every single new In Color to share too.  I am loving this years colors I know you'll see them a lot over the next two years.  Just like on Wednesday's project I'm using the fantastic Pattern Party DSP.  My favorite!!!  Learn more about how to get the Pattern Party DSP on Wednesday's post.  

I colored all the flowers with our new In Color Stampin' Blends.  The ribbon is all new too.  I used the new Pale Papaya Ribbon and trimmed off the side and pulled out some of the fibers from the ribbon.  I love doing this with our thicker ribbons, I just loved the texture it adds.  I tied a bow with new Baker's Twine!  A whole new pack of Baker's Twine to love!!!  The tags are new from the new Tailor Made Tags.  Another must have!  I finished the flowers with some sequins I had left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit.  Just another reason to subscribe, all the extra goodies left over!

Mini Ghirardelli Box With NEW Flowers Of Friendship-VIDEO

I have lots more sneak peeks to share today and another cute box!  This one is sooo simple it will become a go to for quick boxes.  They're quick to put together and easy to throw in your bag to have some treats to give out when you need them.  This sweet box will hold two of the Mini Ghirardelli squares.  Let's get into the new stuff!  

The stamps are all new on this box.  The flower is from the new Flowers Of Friendship Bundle.  This bundle is a punch bundle which is my favorite kind of bundle!  The punch punches out the large flower, small flower and two leaves.  It's a great punch!  I colored the flowers using new Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends and the Pumpkin Pie Dark Stampin' Blends.  I love that extra boldness the Pumpkin Pie brings to it.  Other new stamps is the greeting.  From the Inspired Thoughts Set.  This one is full of amazing greetings!  

The DSP is also new from a new mega pack called Pattern Party.  This DSP is probably my most favorite DSP in the entire catalog.  You can only get this DSP as part of your Stampin' Rewards.  How do you get Stampin' Rewards?  Great question!  Stampin' Rewards are what some might refer to as hostess benefits.  But you DO NOT need to be a hostess to earn Stampin' Rewards.  Any order over $150 will earn them! To make the box you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"

On the short side score at 3/4" and 2 1/2"

On the long side score at 3 1/2" and 4 1/4", then mark your cardstock at 1 1/2" and 6 1/4" only score down to the first score line.  Flip your cardstock over then mark your cardstock again at the same measurements. The DSP is 6" x 1 1/2" .  For the rest of the details check out my video below.
