Getting to the card-here's the paper you'll need with dimensions
Your card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4 (I'm using bashful blue)
Coordinating CS 4 x 5 1/4 (I'm using pumpkin pie)
Designer Series Paper (or DSP), you'll need 2 pieces one 8 x 8 and another 3 3/4 x 5 (I'm using the Summer Picnic paper)
I'll also be using ribbon, dimensionals and a bone folder is helpful, but if you don't have one don't worry about it.
I hope I can expain this so you'll understand, but the pictures will help.
The 8x8 piese of DSP will be the exposion part of your card so we'll work with that first. For this card I want the line pattern on the inside of my exposion so I'm going to fold it with the lines on the inside. If you want a specific patteren on the inside make sure that is on the inside when you start folding.
Fold your DSP in half diagonally and then turn it and fold it in half diagonally again, creating an 'x' with the fold lines.
Then fold it in half. So you should have an 'x' with a line through it.
Your center line will get folded toward the center of the DSP making a triangle shape.
The corners that you just folded will get folded inside the card, as shown above. Do all 4 corners like this. You should end up with a house shape, seen below.
Put adhesive on one side of your 'house' and line the point up with your score line in your card and stick down. Then put adhesive on the other side of your 'house' and close your card and stick it all together.
Decorate and embellish your card as you like.
Here is 3 of the same cards with different DSP. So cute. Hope that wasn't too confusing!

Take the bottom points of your DSP and fold them toward each other so that they meet in the center and 'kiss'. Flip it over and do the other side too.
