I used the new Sweetest Cherries bundle for this card.  The background is embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder.  I'm featuring Sweet Sorbet on this card.  It's a new In Color and is so pretty!  The cherry is punched with the Sweet Sorbet Glimmer Paper so you get lot of texture and sparkle and shine!

Diagonal Pop Up Card With Sweetest Cherries Bundle-VIDEO

Today is a fun card!  I love a good fun fold and this is a good one!  The entire card folds up to a standard size card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" but when opened it's a whopping 5 1/2" x 12".  I love surprise cards like this!  I used the new Sweetest Cherries Bundle for this card, paired up with the Pretty Prints DSP.  This DSP isn't the type of DSP I tend to gravitate towards but I am LOVING this amazing DSP!  It's very versatile!

stampin up, sweetest cherries

Remember when you purchase a bundle you're automatically saving 10%.  It's a great deal!  The Sweetest Cherries Bundle is so fun too!  I love the images and the big greetings pair up so nicely!  This is a punch bundle that will punch the cherry, stem and leaf.  For my card I fussy cut the sweet.  I love it!  I used the basket texture stamp to stamp my circle for some added dimension.  After it was stamped it was very distracting so I toned down the stamping a little a by adding a layer of vellum.  This is a great hack to soften background stamping but still getting all that texture and dimension.

stampin up, sweetest cherries

When opened the card pops up from the back and the front, thanks to some strategically placed score lines.  This isn't my original design I first saw it here by fellow demonstrator Wendy Cranford. I thought it was so unique and I wanted to make one too!  I love it!

stampin up, sweetest cherries

I have a video below to take you step by step through this card.  It's not as hard as it looks.  I only decorated my first and last panels, you can also add some DSP to the center panel too if you want.  I used both Calypso Coral and Sweet Sorbet to stamp my cherries, it's not a color combo I would have thought of if not for the Pretty Prints DSP but I think they work well together.

Make your own!
Cardstock 12" x 5 1/2"

Mark the second score line at 2" from the bottom, score diagonally from the mark down to the corner of the center panel and second score line, then down to the bottom right corner

DSP two pieces 5 1/8" x 3 3/4"
With your DSP in portrait mode, mark one piece of DSP at 1 5/8" from the top on the right side.  Cut from the mark up to the top left corner.

New Catalog Kick Off Class

Over the weekend I held my in person New Annual Catalog Kickoff Class!  This is one of my favorite classes of the year.  I LOVE the cards that my guests got to make!  I don't have a supply list listed for these cards, that is reserved for my in person guests.  All of these products are available in my Online Store.  Shop here.

First is this adorable card featuring the Cup of Tea Bundle and Tea Boutique DSP.  I love the colors and the soft feeling to this card.  But my favorite part of this card is inside....

Inside the card is a 3" x 3" envelope, the perfect size to hold a tea bag!  What a cute surprise!

The next card is a fun gatefold card.  These two colors are two that I might not have paired together but boy do I LOVE THEM!  Bermuda Bay and Starry Sky are a perfect combo.  This card uses the Happiness Abounds Set and the Pretty Prints DSP.

Of course I had to use the Sweet Songbirds Bundle.  This simple card is soooo cute!  You could easily make a stack of these for friends in no time!  In addition to the Sweet Songbirds Bundle I also used the Fabulous Frames Dies. What a fun combo!

The Sending Smiles Bundle is one of my favorites!  I have yet to make a card I don't like and this card is no exception!  I love the combination of stamped and die cut images.  So gorgeous!  I love it paired with the Dots and Spots Die.

Finally, the last card is so stunning!  I used the Good Feelings Set paired up with the Hues of Happiness DSP.  This is a great use of scraps and the card is so gorgeous!

Happier Than Happy Fun Fold

Today's card features the adorable Happier Than Happy Bundle.  I am always, always a fan of the cute critter cards.  I love them so much!  This one was no exception!  These cute forest animals are so fun!  They're a Distinktive stamp, meaning that the stamp is designed to give amazing shading with just one ink and one stamp.  I love the incredible detail in the stamped images, and it was so easy but it makes me look like a true artist! I'm sharing a fun fold that I saw from Erica Cerwin.  I thought it was so cute and had to make it!

stampin up, happier than happy

There's lots of panels and scoring, measurements all below.  These kinds of folds are great for creating fun scenes on cards like this one.  In addition to the Happier Than Happy Bundle I'm also using the coordinating DSP Happy Forest Friends.  This is such a cute package of DSP!  For some added fun I added lots of die cut leaves from the bundle to my card.  I think they're so cute!  For my greeting I stamped the 'thanks' on a rectangle that was in my Basic White scraps.  It's die cut from the retired Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  It didn't even occur to me that it was retired until after the card was complete.  You can substitute it for any smaller label.

stampin up, happier than happy

To make this card you'll need:
Mossy Meadow 5 1/2" x 11"
On the long side score at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" and 7" fold accordion style
Soft Suede 5" x 3 3/4" adhere to the first and fourth panel
On the long side score at 2 1/2"
DSP pieces 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" (two), 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"
Calypso Coral 4 1/4" x 3"
Basic White 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" (two), 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Best Butterfly Gum Box-VIDEO

One of the first bundles I wanted in the new Annual Catalog was the Best Butterflies Bundle.  On Monday I shared this card with you.  I love that each butterfly will be unique and different and you can customize them however you want to suit whatever project you're working on.  Today I went with some bold bright colors.  I used three of the new In Colors, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Starry Sky and I paired them up with Coastal Cabana.  LOVE this color combo!

stampin up, best butterflies

For my butterfly for this card I used the coordinating stamps in the set to stamp the detail on Basic White Cardstock then die cut the details pieces with the colored cardstock.  I love the texture that it gives the wings.  I adhered my wings down on all sides but in my video I curl up some of the edges on the wings so the stamped detail shows more.  I love that!  You can do it however you want!  That's the beauty of this set!  My greeting is heat embossed and I finished my box with some Parakeet Party Ribbon and Solid Faceted Gems.

stampin up, best butterflies

My box is made from a sheet of DSP from the Butterfly Kisses Pack.  I sized my box perfectly to hold a package of Trident Gum.

To make the box you'll need DSP that is 4 5/8" x 6"
On the short side score at 1/2" on each side
On the long side score at 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 5" and 5 1/2"

I used the Label Me Fancy punch to punch a finger notch to get the gum in out easily.  Look around at your punches and see what you have.

I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.  Check out my video for details on this project.  Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.

Best Butterflies Birthday

Today's card is sooo much fun!  Lots of new products! Lots of fun colors.  Lots of texture and dimension-I love it!  I started with one of the printed card bases from the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes.  I added a piece of vellum that I embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.  This is probably one of my favorite folders!  I used lots of new dies.  The Stylish Shapes is where the pierced square comes from, there's a gorgeous Shaded Spruce tag from the Designer Tags Dies.

stampin up, best butterflies

Next is the AMAZING new Best Butterflies Bundle.  I just love these butterflies.  They're a little different then other butterflies we've had in the past, I think that's why I like them so much!  Each of the wings and bodies are separate dies.  You can create your own butterflies however you choose!  I LOVE it!  I finished my card with a heat embossed greeting and some Faux Sea Glass Shapes.  There's so much to love about this card.  I have a full supply list below.  If you love these butterflies make sure to join me for my Facebook Live project this Wednesday at 9am MT.  We'll be making another fun project with the Best Butterflies Bundle.  Can't catch me live, don't worry you can catch the replay on YouTube following the live.

Hues Of Happiness DSP Card

Today's card is a stunner!  I have a secret to tell you....I didn't color a single image on this card.  In fact the only ink I used was VersaMark Ink to emboss my greeting.  So how did I get all those gorgeous flowers on my card then?? They're from the Hues Of Happiness DSP.  Die cut straight from the sheets of DSP using the coordinating dies in the Happiness Abounds Bundle.  This DSP and the bundle are a match made in heaven!  If you get the bundle you need to add on the DSP, if you get the DSP you need to add the bundle (or at least the dies!).  Trust me on this one!

stampin up, happiness abounds, hues of happiness

The background on this card is DSP too, from the same package!  I die cut flowers from the DSP to match my background perfectly then I arranged them in a diagonal pattern across the background.  PRO TIP! The flowers on the edges of my card were die cut from the edges of the DSP.  They already have a straight edge and you don't have to waste 'half a flower'.  Use every inch of that DSP!  The card was so stunning I only added a simple heat embossed greeting.  I fussy cut it to keep it small, because I didn't want to cover any of those flowers.  Make sure you add the Hues of Happiness DSP and Happiness Abounds Bundle to your wishlist!  You won't be disappointed!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

stampin up, sending smiles

I'm pulling in lots of new In Color products on this box.  There's the DSP, the dots and I'm using Starry Sky Ribbon.  This metallic ribbon is available in all five of the new In Colors.

stampin' up, sending smiles

I'm using some new dies on this card too, the All That Dies are amazing and quickly becoming a huge favorite of mine.  I love that bottle cap circle and the arrow banner is fantastic.  I resized my banner by running it through the Cut and Emboss Machine to make it shorter, check out my video.  It's one of my favorite banners!

stampin up, sending smiles

I used a magnet to keep my box closed.  You can get small magnets in a variety of places.  I got mine from Amazon, search for 'button magnets'.  You can also get them from totalelement.com  If you didn't want to use a magnet you can use velcro to keep it closed too.

stampin up, sending smiles

This box is sized to hold a full sized Kit Kat bar.  Any of your favorite flavors will work.  It's a fun treat that anyone will like.  On the front of my box I die cut a label to help get the Kit Kat out, plus it's super cute.  You can also use a punch.  Check out my video for all the details on this box.

To make the box you'll need a piece of cardstock, I'm using Orchid Oasis, that is 7 1/2" x 8"
On the long side score at 1/2", 1", 5 1/2" and 6"
On the short side score at 1/2", 3 1/2", 4" and 7"
DSP 3" x 2" and 2 7/8" x 4 1/4"

Trim according to the picture.  I ran my lid and the front of my box through my Cut and Emboss machine for added texture.  You will need to do two passes to do this. Make sure you adhere you DSP to the front of the box before die cutting the front.  Check video for more details on this.  Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video.

Good Feelings Sneak Peek

I have one last sneak peek to share with you today!  Tomorrow our new Annual Catalog goes LIVE and I can't wait!  This catalog is amazing!!!  Today I'm sharing the new Good Feelings Set along with the new In Colors and their coordinating accessories like the Metallic Ribbon and Glimmer Paper.  Love both of these products!  I'm also using more of that incredible plaid print in the In Color DSP!  This is my favorite print and I can't wait to get it in all our colors!

stampin up, good feelings

For my greeting I used my Stamparatus, I wanted an ombre colored greeting and of course the Stamparatus is the best tool for that.  I inked up the top of my image with Orchid Oasis and the bottom of my image with Starry Sky.  Using the Stamparatus ensures that you get a clean stamped image every time.  I added a heart and a flower from each In Color below the greeting.  The hearts are all die cut with their coordinating cardstock using the Teacup Dies.  The flowers are die cut with the In Color Glimmer Paper with the Sending Dies.  This little flower in those dies has become my go to embellishment.  I LOVE that little flower!  The entire card is finsihed with a Starry Sky bow with the Metallic Ribbon, get this ribbon in all five of the new In Colors.  Sneak peek items will be available for purchase tomorrow, May 3, when the catalog goes live!
