This week I'm sharing four cards that I recently did for a private class. If you're in the Albuquerque, NM area and want to host a private class let me know I'd love to plan something for you. Private classes are usually smaller with a handful of people and I can customize the projects to techniques and products that you want to see. For this class it was requested that I show case how to use our hybrid embossing folders/dies and blending brushes. This is the final card of the class with the blending brushes and the Thankful Garden Bundle.
I love the Everyday Arches Dies and the largest die is the perfect size for a card base. To make a full card with out loosing any of the arch, cut 2 in the same color-I used Petunia Pop. Then on one of them score the top at 1/2", this is your inside card. Adhere the front of the card to the 1/2" flap and your card will open and close perfectly!
I used the masks and blending brushes to color my image. Though the petal and leaves are all different shades it's all from one ink pad (each section-Petunia Pop for the petals and Old Olive for the leaves). As you work your way through the masks as you continue to layer color it will get darker. No need for a stack of ink pads and blending brushes when you can simply use one!

I've already shared two cards with the Sunrise Sailing Bundle today and tomorrow we'll focus on the blending brushes and masks with the Thankful Garden Bundle.
This bundle is so much fun, included in the bundle are the stamps, dies, and masks. The masks are numbered so you know what order to do them in and there's a notch in them that you can mark on your scrap paper first so you can easily line it up every time. I featured this bundle in a past class to go, you can no longer earn the class to go you can check out the videos for tips on how to use the masks.

Today we're using the embossing folder and dies from the Sunrise Sailing Bundle as well as the brushes.
This card is stunning! I don't think the colors are doing it the justice it deserves but it's a stunner of card! We used Summer Splash, Darling Ducking, Timid Tiger and Melon Mambo to do the ink blending on the arch. So pretty!
We added a die cut boat, but let the ink blending shine. The background has lots of texture from the embossing and a couple of clouds.

This card show cased the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Bundle. The hybrid bundles have dies that are specifically designed to cut INSIDE the embossing folder so your image is cut and embossed at the same time. It's a remarkable thing! I love our hybrid folders. They're magical and they save time without having to run it through twice.
I used the same embossing folder, without the dies to add texture to the background. Overall it's a simple card but loaded with texture.

The final card for this class is a gorgeous fun fold. I completely love this card. The soft subtle colors the embossing the fun fold. It's an over the top, beautiful card and I'm here for it. I did white heat embossing on the backgrounds to add to the texture. Embossing is so stunning, I'm wowed by it every time I use it. It's a simple way to take a card from good to GREAT! I used Stampin' Blends to color my flowers. I love the way they came out.

Today I'm sharing an amazing water color technique. Water coloring is not in my wheelhouse. I don't do it a lot because it's not something I'm super comfortable with but this technique I've always had success with. You need a piece of Water Color Paper, regular cardstock won't work you need something that can handle the amount of water we're putting on it. You'll also need a block and some water based inks-our classic inks work great. I'm using Basic Beige, Petal Pink and Calypso Coral. Get your paper wet with a spritzer (not soaking wet but damp), then add the ink to the acrylic block. Start with your lightest color moving to the darker color. Give your block a quick spritz or two with water then flip it quickly to your damp water color paper. The colors will mix and wash together. Pick up the block and set your paper aside to dry completely. If you're in a hurry you can speed up the drying process with a heat tool but I love the organic lines you get if you let it dry by itself. My flower is colored with Stampin' Blends, but if you're feeling daring you can water color this too.

There is a lot of coloring on this card but I wouldn't have it any other way. I think it's simply stunning! I used both Strawberry Slush and Peach Pie Stampin' Blends to get the color on those beautiful petals. Mixing colors with your Stampin' Blends doesn't harm them and you'll step up your coloring game with this fun technique.

I used both Lost Lagoon and Secret Sea Stampin' Blends on my flowers. You can absolutely mix colors of blends in one space, they blend together wonderfully and add great depth. The frame dies in this bundle are pretty amazing too!

I've got a sneak peek to share with you today. This is the Peaceful Garden Suite. This will launch in September with the Mini Catalog/Online Exclusives Launch. The suite is gorgeous! The stamp set is full of incredible greetings, while the dies offer labels, greenery and doves. Also in the suite is the coordinating Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder, which coordinates perfectly with the dies. The Peaceful Greenery DSP is stunning and the Misty Moonlight/Silver Edged Ribbon is the perfect accent. The only thing not used on this card from the suite are the Hues Of Blue Flowers.
The embossed greeting on this card is so pretty. I kept the colors pretty neutral so that the bright white dove would really stand out. The ribbon adds just enough sparkle and shine to make the card pop. Inside the card, because it's on such a dark card base I added a layer of white that I ink blended and added another dove to. So pretty!

I'm so excited to announce my new 2025 Holiday Paper Share. The papers are incredible!!!! What is a paper share? A paper share is a great way to get a little of every single package of Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the new September-December Mini and September Online Exclusive Launch. You'll get a sampling, or a sheet (6" x 12" or 6" x 6" when the paper is only offered in 6" x 6"), of every DSP launching in September.
I've listed all the packages I'm including in my share below. Shares are a great way to get it all and stay in your budget. Plus, after you see everything in person if you can stock up on the papers you love.
Paper Share Details
Paper Share prices include shipping. Each share is $60.
Papers are trimmed to 6" x 12" unless the DSP is only sold in 6" x 6" packages, then you'll get a 6" x 6" piece.
You can purchase more than one of each share, if you want more than one please indicate the quantity in the "Special Notes" section of the sign up form.
You will be sent an invoice via Paypal on August 27, 2025. Invoices must be paid by September 2, 2025 to be included in the share. Papers will be ordered September 3, 2025.
I can only reserve/ship to the USA.
Shares will ship by September 25, 2025. I'm hoping to ship much sooner but I'm allowing time for them to be shipped to me and for cutting and packaging. You will receive an email when your share ships. If there is a delay I will notify you by email.
