Happy Haunting Milk Carton Box-VIDEO

I love crafting for Halloween.  I don't usually send cards for Halloween but I think making fun boxes and treats is so much fun. Usually we have some pretty amazing Halloween products and this year is no different.  This year I didn't get too many Halloween products, there will be no class parties to make treats for, no office treat parties (the hubs is still working from home).  So I was careful....no matter how tempted to not invest in tons of Halloween products.  Instead I invested in products that worked for multiple holidays, including Halloween!!  The Celebration Tidings Bundle is one of them.  First the dies-OMGeee!!!  They're the BEST!!!  But the set is so versatile for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines!  I love that set that covers months of holidays.  The other products I pulled in was the spider die from the Little Treat Box Dies and of course my Harvest Hellos Set and Apple Builder Punch from the Annual Catalog.  They're some of my favorites and always a go to for this time of year!  So what's inside this box? I have individual packs of Oreos in the boxes, they're the Halloween packs that have 2 cookies each.  I thought it would be super cute to put the cookies in a milk carton style box.

With all of those amazing products, probably my favorite part of this project is the spider stamped ribbon.  Take note...this will probably be the only time in my life that I will admit that I love a spider.  But come on? How can you not love that spider ribbon!  I used the wide Purple Posy Ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo and stamped the spider from the Celebration Tidings Set all over it in Gorgeous Grape ink.  I love it!!!  This is a fun technique that I'm going to continue to use.  I have the box measurements below along with a shopping list.  Make sure you check out the video for all the details on making this spooky cute box.

stampin up, celebration tidings, harvest hellos, halloween

To make the box you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 6"x 8 1/2".  On the 6" side score at 1/2", 1 1/4" and 4 3/4".  On the 8 1/2" side (with the 1/2" score line on the TOP). Score at 2 3/4", 4", 6 3/4" and 8".  Then make a short score line at 3 3/8" and 7 3/8" from from the top of the paper to the first horizontal score line (your 1/2" score line).

Thanks With Playful Alphabet

I have my third card to share using the same layout I featured last week in my Facebook Live and on Monday.  I LOVE this one.  You guys I LOVE IT!!  It's a pretty simple card but the boldness from the Playful Alphabet Dies and those beautiful Blushing Bride flowers, it's so pretty!!! The background is stamped using the leaf from the Walk In the Woods Stamp Set.  I also added that same leaf image to the Label die too.

The THANKS greeting is made from die cutting the letters with the Playful Alphabet Dies.  I adhered my cardstock to a piece of the Foam Adhesive Sheets then die cut all my letters.  The cardstock and the Foam Sheets cut beautifully in my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.  Then it was just a matter of sticking them to the card. The flowers were punched with the Small Bloom Punch.  You may have earned this free during Sale-a-Bration.  If not you can purchase it now!  Yay!!!  To give a little more texture to my flowers I sponged the edges in Blushing Bride Ink.  I have a full supply list below.

Merry Moose Stillness

Last week I shared a beautiful Christmas card.  I told you I would have another card featuring the same layout to share.  I love this card too!  It's fun and whimsical and masculine.  It's a great combo.  I'm so glad that the Merry Moose Bundle is around for another season.  Last year it was so popular it sold out sooooo fast!  It's a great bundle! Plus when you get it as a bundle you save 10%.  I used the same layout as last weeks card and even used the same Birch Background.

stampin up, merry moose

This time I stamped on my label die for more interest.  The moose outline is stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock in Soft Suede Ink, then I used the inside image for moose and stamped him in Crumb Cake Ink that had been stamped off once. I love them dimension of color it gives.  The star and scarf are also from the Merry Moose Set.  Finally to finish it I added some Misty Moonlight dots.  These are actually the Playing With Pattern Resin Dots.  I colored the Purple Posy ones with my Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends to match the card.  I have a full supply list below.

Stampin' Up, Whale of a time, turtles

The larger turtle image is cut from the DSP itself.  There's no die of punch for it but it's easy to fussy cut and look at that amazing detail in the DSP!!!    The only stamping I did was add a greeting, the DSP did the rest of the work!  Make quick and amazing cards featuring our amazing Designer Series Papers and stock up now while they're on sale!!!

Christmas Wreath-VIDEO

Did you catch my Facebook Live this week?  I have a really fun and beautiful card for you today.  The best part of this card is that it's easy to mass produce, if you need a holiday card this year this is one to add to your list.  I took a simple layout and made a gorgeous card.  I also have 2 other cards to share that use this same layout.  Check them out next week on Wednesday and Friday.

Stampin up, wreath builder dies, arrange a wreath bundle, merry moose

The best part of this card is the wreath pieces and the label die were all leftovers from other projects.  Keep your scraps you never know what you can make.  I love the Wreath Builder dies.  The entire Arrange A Wreath Bundle is great to have.  It's so versatile and a great year round set!  We're only using the dies today but when you purchase the stamp and die bundle you save 10%.  It's worth investing in both.  For all the details on this card make sure you check out my video below.

Freezin' Fun Shaker-VIDEO

I shared this adorable slider card a little while back.  I had so much making that card I made a few more movement cards featuring the Freezing Fun Bundle. This is one of the cutest bundles in the mini catalog!!!  I love it and this shaker card is so cute!! To start with a shaker card you first need a window.  I die cut my window with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  Our Window Sheets are strong and great for backing your window so your shaker bits stay in.  To adhere everything down I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets.  I love these!  They're easy to cut down and they lock all those shaker pieces inside!

I filled my shaker card with the Sequins For Everything, also in the Mini Catalog.  These are gorgeous sequins!!!  In addition to my sequins I also added lots of snowballs.  I think they add the cutest touch to this already super cut card.  For all the details on this card and how I made my shaker check out my video below.

Freezin' Fun Box Card-VIDEO

You guys this might just be one of the cutest cards I ever made!!!  I LOVE this card!!!  When I first started coloring this set I knew I wanted the penguin to be flying off his snowboard.  I instantly thought of a box card.  A box card is a card that will fold flat to mail but pop open like a box and easily stand for display.  It simply couldn't be cuter!!!

The penguin and his snowboard are adhered to a window sheet.  Making an invisible stand for them both.  This card is taller than 5 1/2" so I'll need to make a custom envelope for it.  If you wanted to keep this to a standard size envelope be aware of your dimensions and make sure you keep everything in them.
stampin' up, freezin fun

To make the box card you'll need a piece of cardstock that is 2 1/4" x 9".  On the long side score at 1/2", 1 1/2", 4 3/4" and 5 3/4".  You'll also need a piece for the inside, or a brace, that is 1" x 4 1/4".  On the long side score at 1/2" on each side.  For all the details on this card check out my video and enjoy!

It might be easy to overlook this set because it coordinates with the Gorgeous Posies Kit but it is a true stand alone stamp set. Check out the Gorgeous Posies Kit here.  I paired it with the In Good Taste DSP and our new In Colors.  I love that pop of Magenta Madness against that dark wood grain.  There's no dies or punches for this set so you do have to do a little fussy cutting but the flower and leaf are both easy to cut.  I finished the card with some of the gems from the Flowers For Every Season Gems.  They're gorgeous!  Check out the video below for all the details on this card.

JOY

I've said it before but I'll keep saying it.  the Peace and Joy Bundle is the best!!!  It's probably my most favorite bundle in the August-December Mini Catalog.  Even though I'm pretty sure the only sentiment I've die cut is 'Joy' any of these cards could be adapted to any of the other sentiments in the set.  This card is simple, quick and fun!!!  Think of how many different colors you could make this in too!
I used shades of blue for this one, but what about greens, pinks, yellows and gold!  I went with blue shades for this card because I wanted to use the new Blue Gems.  OMG!!  They're amazing!!!!!  I love that the dies let you layer up your greeting, for this card I stamped my greeting then layered it on vellum.  I love that soft look.  I have a full shopping list below.

Menagerie Mix Up Beaver

Sometimes a card is made and you just smile because it's so awesomely adorable!  This card was that card for me.  First....if I were to design a stamp set...maybe someday....it would for sure have some kind of whimsical, cute animal and of course puns are a must.  What makes the Menagerie Mix Up Bundle sooooo great is that you can create any fun creature you want.  It's like animal paper dolls!  YES! The greeting on this card is from the Zany Zebras Set.
For my beaver I stamped and die cut all the pieces from white cardstock then I used my Stampin' Blends to color them.  There's a million ways to create these guys.  You're only limited by your imagination.  After the pieces were all colored it was simply a matter of putting him together.  In this case only four pieces, ears, head, body and tail.  Once assembled I made a simple card, threw in some embossing and DSP and added my beaver.  SOOOOO Cute!!!  I have a million more ideas for this bundle I can't wait to share!!!  I have a full shopping list below.
